I get my brace off next week. With Damon braces my full treatment was only 20 months. Damon is the way to go. 43yo adult male.

Dr wang - they have Brava by Brius in dallas texas- lingual brace but without wires and moves individual teeth - they say shorter time than conventional braces - do you have any thoughts on these newer lingual braces

My only issue with damon braces is they don’t look right with color. It’s just like big ass circles with pink around it.

She’s a very pretty girl. Her smile definitely improved but I really liked her fuller, higher cheeks before. She’s very pretty either way.

So true on the more full smile, it’s really noticeable, also on the less soreness as well. First bind on top and bottom only had me sore for about a day, all the new wire adjustments afterwards had me sore for only a few hours. Compare this to my friends who had traditional braces and their initial bind had them sore for around 4-5 days, and their subsequent adjustments had them sore for a few days everytime.

Fantastic results. Her smile was okay in the before, but the after is much better

I got Damon’s a few days ago starting my journey and they asked me what colors did I want. Unless they were asking about the colors of the rubber bands and I missed that lol

Does Invisalign have the same result? Do I need to specifically ask my dentist for this type of treatment?

Looks like after two years she lost 8 lbs. Also why does her gums and tongue inside look black and unhealthy with the after photos?

I had 2 maxillary premolars extracted (next to 4 wisdoms) because I was told there wasn’t enough room to fit in my teeth but in reality it was because my lower jaw was recessive. Now I got the dished in face and I was never told about mandibular advancement or lower jaw surgery. As a male I always wear a beard so it doesn’t look too hollow but I wish I knew about my options. Generally I would say orthodontists want to improve your face but back in the day the easiest route was preferred.

I had upper premolars extracted because of my deep overbite not because my teeth were protruding but my lower jaw wasn’t fully developed. Is that something you would recommend or is jaw surgery better?

My teeth are the same and it would make a huge difference in my appearance if I could fix it. You are not reachable from my location. What could I tell me dentist to do to be able to get results like these?! 🙏🏻

My main concern is that it will chip or break your tooth when it is time to remove them.

I got Damon braces yesterday and I am astounded at how comfotable they are I expected hell and all I have experienced is a bit of tickling and a bit of an ache It is remarkable and I'm so happy invested in them 😊

what about those with tmj? i want to move forwrd with braces, but because i have such a tight jaw, i'm leary. please let me know if this is wise? thank. you.

I wasted my time with clear uppers because soon as I got my meatal lowers ppl noticed. Not too many ppl knew I had them first 9 months. They are a touch too big but comfortable. Wish I had all meatal and now im stuck in these 2 extra months lol

So far 1.5 yrs in, my damons only hurt about a day and a half when I chew with new wires. Day 3 the pain while biting is all but gone. I made sure to ask for damons. The pain starts about 4 to 6 hours after new wire and is the worse the 2nd day then magically it is gone when I wake next day, chewing away then I feel like the wire isnt strong enough

Braces; 2 teeth on the top and 2 teeth in the bottom were removed to make room for over crowded teeth when I was 17. Now I feel as if my palate is too narrow and it creates those damn shadows in the corners of my mouth when I smile. Hence the reason I feel as if I don’t have a full healthy looking smile that fills my whole mouth. This may be the solution as I do like the way her smile afterwards fills more of mouth upon smiling than it did before.

I like her before, her smile was very cute and had character and a youthful quality. Very interesting video and she is beautiful both ways and what is most important is that she is happy

Do you need to keep a retainer in for the rest of your life once the braces are removed? If not, how long? My teeth are identical to his and I want to fix them before I get older… 24 atm and still have wisdom teeth. Should I remove the wisdom teeth first or will they straighten out with them in?

Could her upper jaw have been expanded more with a palatal expander?

y top teeths are overcrowded . It have been 3 month since I got my braces , as my teeth have started to align in same line I feel uncomfortable closing my mouth . It makes my mouth look big and out protruding , will this get better after teeth extraction

If the procedure is simply or mostly for aesthetic purpose, then I see the result as a failure; what once was a youthful looking woman has been made to look older by 5 years. Her new smile is pretty but fake-looking in comparison to the more joyful smile before surgery.
