GCLP webinar recording
Good Clinical Laboratory Practice provides useful guidance for the labs who process samplkes taken during clinical trials. Although labs may never come into direct contact with trial praticipants, they still have an important role to play in ensuring the principles of Good Clinical Practice are followed, especially in relation to -
- protecting the health of trial participants
- ensuring participant anonymity is maintained
- helping protect the scientific validity of the trial

GCLP is the international abbreviation for the topic "Good Clinical Laboratory Practice." It is an abbreviation used the the World health organsiation and many others. It is not the name of my organisation and i cannot change it. However, I do not think anyone will be confused between the two uses of the same abbreviation.

Question - Is prolongation of existing hospitalisation still a criterion for classifying an AE as "serious"? Answer - Yes, it can be. It falls under the category of "other/medically sifgnificant" in the webinar.
