When you mention at the beginning that you can drive the growth in many ways, do you have any pointers on how I might drive the growth along a separate curve?
In Honor Of Pixels (The Movie) This Masterpiece Was Created...
As a person that didn't born in the 80s, this gives me Pixels movie vibes
Really nice tutorial! If you put the ramp of the pointvop to "cividis" preset, it looks like Van Goghs starry night! Looks really nice
love figuring out all the ways to do this, chatgpt gave me a couple cool methods too using vex i wouldn't have thought of.
Genius!!! You have great techer skills!))) keeep it up!=)))
underrated tut, explains a lot more then it needs to in a good way
amazing tutorial, simple & clear, thanks a lot!
Node Copy Stamp still exists? Because I cannot find it :(
followed step by step and the growth isn't moving in the VOP. all black.
hi, how can I make the particles rotate on themselves after they are generated?
Great Easy to understand straight forward and clear! Thnx dud
Is there any chance that this on a moving object?
thanks for the video. any ideas how it would work with an animated transformations on the torus? the growth doesn't progress in the direction of the torus movement
you operate on a static version then transfer the result back to the animated version here's one way: wrangle node with @id = @ptnum timeshift/freeze to make it static do the above setup on the static geo attribcopy to the animated geo coming out of the wrangle node, using Match by Attribute, attribute to match is id move the blast node to be after the attribcopy
easiest and effective electric fx in houdini, finally I learned it.
Thank you very much!
Amazing! 😍
Just thank you very much!
Do you have any tutorial for morph rbd pieces?
I really like your videos, I have learned a lot Bro, a question Is there any chance you can make a tutorial on how to bring a fluid simulation along with textures to Unreal Engine? I've searched for days and days on the internet and I haven't found something that would work for me, it would be great if you could make one.
Excellent tutorial - great pace, great knowledge! I would add that to really lock in the particles to the destination geo, use a POP Steer Seek set to Particles to really drive them into place fast and accurately.
Not nearly enough views for this. Great work.
Does any one nows how to make it continue emitting particles?
I believe it’s episode 20 on the Joy of Tattooing
Did you make the whole video in Houdini?! Any plans to return to procedural roots?
How can you use it with a different mesh (like an Alembic file) ?
thanks, but you go over this stuff so quickly I cant follow the tutorial
Simple and straight to the point
Great work. New Sub
This is amazing.
Great work! What software did you use? P.S. I`ll wait for the continuation!
Houdini, Redshift, After Effects!
WOW. This is amazing! I love the textures. ❤
very nice light and textures! wow! Which render engine did you use? Nice!
Redshift!
Incredible short film! I love the sliced effect you have on the smoke!🔥
it's an instant follow
Hi Bro, thanks for the tutorial The copy to point feature also applies to my static object. I don't want this to appear because it has point points, how can I do it?
I think that if you click on the dopnet on the SOP level and change the "object" option from "*" to "flipobject" it should fix it. At 0:55 you can see the box that I'm talking about. The problem might be that the dopnet imports all the objects from the simulation, including the collider. If you tell it to just import your flipobject, only those points will exist. (Or its called "flipobject1". Just tell it to only take whatever your upper left node inside the dopnet is called)
Hello, how to Close a polygonal hall object?
Such beautiful work too! Thanks for this!
gonna watch and do every single video thank you for this
How would one go about say changing the particle size over time (life).
Great tutorial, thank you so much!
cool fx! how can speed up the transition without lose that organic motion?
\COOOOLLL
that s what am lookin for thanks man
2024, no Copy Stamp, so I use MOPs to copy the variants on the points.
unhide in textport
Hi! thanks for the video. I was testing it out on Houdini 19, but seems like the collisions are not working well, only the first object collide with the ground plane, the other ones do not. I also Opened your file in Houdini 18 and works perfectly, but in 19 it also gets that error.
Thanks mate! This was very helpful.
i try to hide the steering object, but it shows in the final render. Not as a complete mesh but as some particles of the tank.
Click on "dopnet1" in the SOP level (the one he places at 0:55) and change the "Object" from "*" to "flipobject1"
i was about the exit the video and your end music came up and i was looking around in the room the find whos that ? :D. Thanks for the tutorial !
Great stuff!!!! 🎉🎉🎉
