I’m 50, I think you’re a little older like myself and you seem to be able to appreciate a factory bike too. The quiet exhaust really lets you hear and feel how that engine is pulling up from the corners and out of the hole. I’m really impressed, Honda isn’t in the bike business for the fun of it, pretty sure they mean it.

@brilliantspeedsuperbikes regarding the drive out of bends, thinking of going +1 or +2 on the rear sprocket for more tq but not sure how effective the change will be or if it will jack too much with the TC. Any thoughts on mods.

But I may half to settle for something else. I know an electronic suspension is best for my skill level. Is there a big difference between your Honda and the BMW suspension wise? i just got the '25 RRR. its not broken in yet tho. only put 130 miles on it so far. love the bike. i cant wait to get it out there and give it some love. maybe ill do some youtube content too. my friends keep telling me too. guess i have bragging rights with this bike. hahaha

You can be more impartial than many other youtubers on account of being the same highly competent rider, same track, multiple rides/sample size I am 6'2" 220 lbs kitted up and would be grateful for your thoughts on ergonomics, handling, enjoyment as well as outright performance between the latest Fireblade, RSV4 and Panigale V4. If you want to change the frequency or intensity of the vibrations, raisers aren't the way to do it. You have to change the mass of the handlebar. Barends, mirrors and liquid reservoirs are what you need to start replacing first. Also, softer grips are a huge improvement - the Progrip 717 Ducati sells as OEM replacements are great.

About tank sliders, they stay nice with tape? Some goes with silicone.

Do you mind if I ask how tall you are, and how you find it for comfort relative to your height? I know it’s no Goldwing either way, but I’m just curious how someone 6’ 1” like myself would fair. Beautiful piece of engineering for sure. I’ve had Ducatis (1098s) and Kawasaki (Zx6R, ZX10R) sport bikes over the years. Was gonna go back to a Ducati, but then this beast caught my eye. It seems like a serious piece of engineering for sure. Beautiful. I have goals of eventually tracking the bike as well, and I don’t really like the idea of a Ducati for that…Honda reliability has a bit more appeal in a track context, and I think I just like the inline 4 vibe as well. Congrats on the bike. Amazing. Expensive but worth it in my view.

Changing mine right now, 100% on the build quality and ease compared to Ducati and even Yamaha/Kawasaki, filter from dealer was marked different to what was original (9P-12A vs 4Q10A) but was able to confirm have same part number with your video cheers!...........most bikes you can feel it in transmission getting stiffer upto the first oil change but this thing was like butter smooth still.

I see saito racing sliders, what spools and stand are you using for this? I'm picking mine up in 2 weeks and have to immediately put in storage because of weather.

You probably lost your factory warranty on the bike ..you supposed to take it to a certified honda dealer for the first oil change

I’m close to buying one. How is it to ride under 60 mph? Is it just a normal motorcycle or are you constantly stressed about touching the throttle wrong and dying?

I remember buying my first piece of carbon fiber for my 1994 CBR 600 F2 back in 1996, from Lockhart Phillips for something like $600 if I remember correctly. It was a front mud guard and I remember thinking I was next level badass, as there were no bikes that had any carbon on them at the time. But unless its some Space X grade structural component I prefer Titanium to carbon end cans and exhaust systems. To be honest we are getting ripped off anyway considering Ti is one of the most common metals in the Earths crust, its only its extremely high melting point that jumps the cost up as its hard to refine and even harder from a materials engineering point of view. I mean 10K for a Ducati full system? No thanks, id rather have 5 ounces of Gold.

Is it just me or is that bike likely quite comfortable compared to some other choices in this space? The handle bars look fairly high relative to the seat. Kinda surprised to see that. Possibly a good thing for the more vintage folks who like these things ;-o😊
