Solved! There is another fuse hidden in the tip of the male end of the DC input where you connect it to the cigarette lighter. I tried everything, almost gave up, and then replacing that fuse (which did NOT look damaged btw) fixed it. 🤷‍♂️

Lmao I have the same problem on my 95DZ. Only the AC side works. Emailed Dometic but well when they’ll reply. If customer service sucks I’ll never get their products ever again even though it’s really good. Do you have any update?

i have the exact same issue. been on the line with dometic customer service, apparently this is a known issue. I'm hoping to get a new one soon, but we'll see

Hi, I have the same no dc power issue on my cfx3 75dz, after seeing Eminence FrontX5 video. By removing the cigarette header on the dc wire and connect it directly solves my issue. Hope it solve your 's too

Steven, a heads up and way simpler way of tying the Trucker's Hitch from a an 'Old School' Flat Bed (Skateboard) Truck Driver of 32 years (I never knew it had a name), one end is secured on the other side of the trailer take the loose end of the rope and make a loop holding it in my left hand (I'm right handed) with the loose end wrapped around the trailer's side rail wrap it around the loop in my left hand 'twice' with the second wrap on top of the first then pull the loose end as hard as needed to make the rope 'ting' when flipped, on the other end of the trip simply release the two loops to it will simply release and be a straight rope again for the next time it's needed, good luck.

Also look into a ‘figure eight follow through’. Most often replaces the bowline in the rope rescue industry. Stronger, and easier to untie because the turns within the ‘knot’ are not as radically bent, resulting in less compression under load. Great video, though. Thanks!

What brand and model are your bike side bags ?? Thank you. Recycle old break fluid by returning it to the bottle and sea it and marked it used and take it to the oil recycler - do not mixe fluids _break steering oil.. I use a Blue sapphire (small) but your looks great with the weighted bottom. I use old break fluid to clean spray paint off things that don want the spray painting . (once I over sprayed the break fluid reservoir with black paint - break fluid cleaned it up) There is a way to make a loop in the drain hose to prevent air return to the system. I prefer an alpine butterfly to the slipknot in the standing line. I had some instance where the slipknot tightened around my rope and I had trouble undoing the knot.

It's called an automatic truckers hitch... You have tied it upside down. A better version is a Kobe hitch... It looks the same at the end just it's more efficient at locking down on itself...I believe you are aware that this hitch is overkill for your boat and liable to damage it.

you're gonna go through a lot of kayak handles using that system. you could even break the kayak's plastic itself. better to install a padeye or 4 if you're gonna be doing that. and you don't even need the front and back tied down that tight. they're just to prevent sliding forward/back. just use an adjustable grip hitch or rolling hitch without the trucker's hitch. it's the straps that go over the top of the kayak that need to be tight, and not even tight enough to warrant that hitch.
