Consonants are speech sounds that employ one or more of the following: teeth, tongue, lips, roof of the mouth, back of the throat, clicking, or buzzing sounds. I knew this one as my son is named Benyamin! And we’re Jewish sooooo that helps. His Hebrew name is Shaiel Edward Yaniv Shai- present to me OR Gift, El- God. So present to me from God OR gift of God/gift from God. Yaniv- he will speak/he will bear fruit I chose this one because he will be the leader of his home one day. I wanted to speak a blessing into his life that he will speak the words of God (he’s so shy he can’t even order food at a restaurant, he has to tell me to tell them what he wants) and of course, because I want him to bear much fruit of God! Fruit that transfers to his family one day. To show them the ways of God. Edward is my great uncle who passed when I was a young teen. It’s traditional to have one of your children named after a passed Jewish family member. Keeps their memory and heritage alive.
