Greatest guitar solo of the 21st century so far
I saw these guys live all the way back in 2012 and I’ve been a fan ever since. And they keep getting better
The whistle guy was hired by Tim. A professional whistler and he cost 35$ or something like that.
you should do a video on gardening and leave the guitar to the masters
dude is speechless and can’t touch any part of this song 😂
rhythm guitar player?????? are you nuts?
stick to smoke on the water. this is beyond you
maybe just sit the guitar down and listen to beautiful music
and actually mark may be one of the best rhythm song writers of all time. obviously because this guy can’t figure out what he’s doing…mark and myles created one of the greatest songs of all time on this one👊🏻👊🏻and also mark or myles could be a lead player in any band
this guy can’t play half as good as either of them
this guy is a guitar teacher?? can’t even play the rhythm part, which is actually pretty complicated because mark tremonti is a badass. them you add miles too and you may have one of the best songwriting duos of all time. stick to ac/dc or boston. this is beyond you brother 👊🏻👊🏻
I would have loved advice like this when i was 12 trying to learn guitar, appreciate your reaction!
Dude stop.and stop fn pausing just to play it fn wrong
“I’m a keen guitarist” ……Makes random tuning and noodling noises over the emitional intro….. How did we ever guess ? Dude, you are clueless.
What I love about this is the pure joy that Mumford always brings to the live performances, and also Jon Batiste is just man-shaped sunshine. They both just make me smile instantly.
I love these reactions ! You give great information in a different way and we love it.
So out of tune
Waay too many pauses my dude
you did not pause during the solo.. what a sinner
you are really never heard this song before 😂
If you want everyone having solos their song GOAT ( greatest of all time) everyone takes a turn basically showing off. It's rather disgusting honestly.
Myles suffers with tinnitus as well.
Ive seen them live and theyre just as good,if not better.solid music and she is SO powerful on vocals
React alip ba ta please
This was a great added colab that often occurs at Jazz Fest. Local artists will join the main acts on stage and you end up with unforgettable moments like this.
Love the Polyphia reactions! Ok so you really really need to check out Marcin Patrzałek. If you like classical, try searching "Marcin Toccata".. and there are several others that are pure gold. If you want something more modern, try searching "Marcin Sweet dreams". Tim Henson (Lead Guitarist from Polyphia) and Marcin recently just did a collaboration together called "Classical Dragon" which is phenomenal. That should keep you busy for a while! LOL
Who's with me on this!!
Well, I'm not! :)
And he doesn't have Ronnie James Dio in his voice!! This guy is full of shit & he has no idea what he's talking about!!
I'm sorry, but I'm a former musician, so I've been there and done that!! You made a fool of yourself although you claim to be a guitarist!! You claimed to be a guitarist but you couldn't play shit!! You're a joke in my book!!
Thank you for your feedback and always being positive I love these videos especially with some of my favorite bands like alter bridge🤘
Thank YOU for you comment and feedback. Your kind words mean a lot to me! I hope Alter Bridge is inspiring you to play guitar! Pls let me know if you'd like a "teaching reaction" to YOUR fav Alter Bridge song! Rock on!
@@treblelife a teaching reaction to “in loving memory” would mean the world to me and others.
How about a lesson in not stopping the fukin song so much dumb dumb
It's good you mentioned tinnitus. I came of age in the 80s playing metal at full blast not knowing any better. My T can be debilitating at times, and there is no cure.
Yes, if I would have protected my ears a bit more way back in the day however at least now I can take steps! MAYBE we will have a cure one day! I keep looking at websites related to studies related to tinnitus! THANK YOU for the comment. It is appreciated
Mark Tremonti is not a “rythem” guitarist 😂
I would agree. Not a classification that FITS! Thanks for pointing it out
Thanks! My teacher was getting mad at me bc I couldn't keep up with the song
It can be hard often to find the pattern or time! But just keep trying, it'll get easier! Hmmm - also NOT sure I like a guitar teacher getting mad at a student, though!
Nothing better then watching someone discover AB!
So true! And there's so much more to discover! Another couple of new bands I've found are the Woods of Ypres and their song Finality AND Opeth with their song Heart in Hand! Check it out and let me know what you think! Thanks for watching
Mark tremonti the rhythm guitarist?
Well, it is probably a mistake to try to classify everyone, especially when they are ALL so amazingly talented! Thanks for the comment and for watching! I do truly appreciate it!
@@treblelife It struck me as a little odd. Mark tremonti has never been a secondary or rhythm guitarist. In fact, he's well known for being one of the greatest lead guitarists in the world. Furthermore, the late Eddie Van Halen once referred to him as the greatest lead guitarist of the modern hard Rock and metal era. Of course, I'm paraphrasing him.
You need to check out some avenged Sevenfold to get a taste of Synyster Gates playing
Shows how much I know! I was looking for the SONG - Synyster Gates! LOL Now that I know - I am listening to "Hail to the King" and "Nightmare"! Thanks for the suggestion - and for watching and commenting! Means a TON to me.
@@treblelife I'm gonna make some recommendations to really highlight Synyster Gates(yeah I should have clarified that that's the guitarist haha) So songs to check out: Nobody M.I.A. Afterlife The Stage Cosmic Paradigm Scream Bat Country Creating God There are more but those have some the best showings from Synyster IMO.
Myles Kennedy, the singer, is also singing in Slash's band. You should also check his work there
Thanks for the reply and comments - it means a lot to me! I WILL check out them out and thanks!!
actually its because drummers sweat a ton and sometimes barf
I thought that was reserved for lead singers! LOL
So you never heard nor know Mark Tremonti? I am an Indian and a grown up now. If an Indian knows members of Creed and Alter Bridge and how we appreciate their songs and compositions...may be we follow more music than someone like you.
"oftentimes" for the vocal performances? It's ALWAYS to accommodate vocalists that can't cut it live anymore.
Totally unnecessary. Not one person would be able to tell the difference or care there.
I hate those things
No, it's for covid protection
There's a ton of smaller details in the song that people can apply to their own styles. As you mentioned, they are playing in a relaxed fashion that makes everything flow. Their rhythm lines are not overly complicated for most of the song so the guitars are not stepping on the vocals, but are still providing a sense of momentum and urgency. The use of palm muting keeps the machine gun pace going while still maintaining air space in the song. Considering the vocalist they have, they really work as a unit and don't seem to be fighting for the spotlight.
REALLY excellent points! Thanks for sharing. You are spot on.
black sabbath heaven and hell is recorded in d flat (same thing)
Standard D for me, a capo gets Eb & Standard E. The lower string tension is just easier on the instrument. It also has a deeper instrument voice for the music.
Ear training is such a crucial component of music 👍
Thanks for the comment and for watching the vid. Yes, I completely agree with you and something folks can overlook!
No its to keep stuff the audience throwd
Is he just describing a cliche half time break?
