Horizontal Directional Drilling Tips, Tutorials, Fails & Other Equipment Related Shenanigans. I'm not 100% sure the exact direction I am going to go on this channel. I have been directional drilling for almost ten years and I enjoy the work so this a good place to find some positive drilling advice. I am a professional but I'm no "expert" that is my disclaimer for all the bore gods out there lol. HDD is a field where there is always something new to learn.

Do you have Facebook , Instagram to ask you some questions?
You have no idea how hard it is to find content on this machinery. Would love an in depth tutorial on how to operate this and the locator. Thinking about buying a Ditch Witch JT10 but id need to be well versed on it before spending the $100k
Man am trying to get in to this business, if you something deep let know I I will let you know if I find anything too
I’d look into a Vermeer 8x12 if your looking for something super versatile the 20x22 is awesome can do damn near everything and isn’t overly big or destructive to yards or landscaping
@@kanonekstam484820x22 is a lil to big I’m currently running a 10x15 and man it’s amazes me in every way shape and form
The dog looking at him like: Do you REALLY need more useless shit around the yard?
What is something like this pay
Belt drive or gear box assembly
part 3?
Which HDD machine are you using?
Most important Thing when you Arrive to Site . Where is Our water source ? What fittings do we need for water , Who lost the hydrant permit , and who the hell has the hydrant wrench so we can drill baby Drill 😂
So you sit in a chair all day to Drill ? That sounds sweet . I bet you go through a lot of Helpers.
Hahaha i can tellll he is Puerto Rican!
buy a small sump pump and pump the water out...
You just jump the solenoid with a wrench?
Alright, now I know how to do this... what exactly am I doing? 😂🤣 ik I'm stupid. No clue what that drills. Some sort of pipe, im guessing. Looks kinda fun tbh.
Hey bro, a question - how do you get into this kind of job? Let’s say your 23 just out of uni or college or something what would be your first step?
Did you ever find your answer?
@@MrYabberdont think so but it was just a passing curiosity no stress
I’m learning how to run a 10x15 just starting to learn how to drill
Idk about 36 an hour
I work with this exact same drill and those are all the controls i use and nothing more, shes a simple machine to run but hard to master Look likes your doing it for spectrum internet which is who i contract with for too My team is 3 guys and i may be the driller but i still still dig and even hook the pipe to the head for the pullback
Цены у Вас не гуманные, у нас комплект прокладок с сальниками от spi на 277 мотр стоит 15-20$ подшипники koyo 4 группы я купил за 30 и 40$, шатунная сборка spi стоила 70$
your prop rpm should be in the area of 2500, the briggs will require a reduction drive, if you look at other solution like the verner radial , it only runs 2500 rpm so direct drive is fine, but the engine is 1 liter displacement running low rpm so that works, with something like the briggs which is less than half that displacement, the engine has to run almost twice as fast, so the drive needs a reduction, not direct drive
Good ole mudbath
1st comment yeah boi
Out here living ur best life 😂😂😂😂 love it bro
Straight water
Redrive!
whatever happened to your plane ?
You don’t need a remar for that 😂
😂 i think 🤔
He’s carving
Pretty sure a reduction drive would circumvent the issue but I’ve seen direct mount but the rpm’s have to be high all the time so I personally wouldn’t go that route. Unless you’re a machinist the re drive will cost an additional $800 or more.
Now you just need a loader arm trigger and a rod lift button on the right stick 😅
It’s a hand loader 10x15
You are prepared to work offshore as a driller now :)))
Never explained how the neutral light was fixed!!!!..
We run a 6x6 and a 9x13, what are these fancy push buttons and safety features you speak of 🫠
😂😂 love the ol 6x6 and 7x11
Clean your drill bro
Oh I thought he said how to find death
machining a new recess for a thrust washer is the answer to this problem. i have done this to three other similar engines.
I have an original set of plans for the WATSON WINDWAGON...I'll take $300.00 for the set....Designed by Gary Watson..
waw
I remember changing the batteries alot
Change the battery in sonde
Mind educating me on what the fuck is going on here - genuinely curious
DUDE BUBBLES WAS SO FUNNY and the cows were cute
use the ace aviation redrive from the uk and no thrust bearing issue
Need some clay lock an pro drill mix
Lol wtf
We "blew rope" with a leaf blower, a plastic bag, and a Mt Dew bottle... But you do you, boo.

@@BootsDalton Between the military, construction, utility crews and roughnecking offshore, an appreciable sense of humor is mandatory. Even a dark one.

Why you skip over cruise control?
It doesn’t have it.
If you run any drill manually all the time you will feel the ground conditions and get more production
