My wife and I have had the great blessing of calling Cheryl, and her husband Glenn, our friends for more than thirty years. We met them in Cleveland many years ago and the first time I ever heard her sing a song, I could do nothing but lift up my face and my hands to the Lord she was singing about and weep in worship to the King she loves. It made me want to know Him deeply and serve Him completely. Cheryl ignites fall-on-your-face-before-Him-worship and lifts her voice to Someone you suddenly realize is real and alive and calling for intimacy with you. Someone noble, and powerful, and almighty, and infinitely tender toward every man, woman, and child on the face of this globe. Sing on, Cheryl! You are a sweet sound in the ears of your King. Jesus! Lawd this woman can sing. I first heard her back in Cleveland when I was 12 years old. Now almost 40 years later she still sounds amazing. Truly Anointed! Thank you for posting!

Been almost twenty years since I saw this as it happened. STILL as potent now as it was then. I'm a fat white tenor singer, yet this is how I sing this song now onstage. Same key just unload and let God move. And I STILL weep as I sing it
