DIY Steel Garage Build. Site work to Roof. The Barn will have a loft and a full bathroom.
This video is a quick timeline slide show on my 30’ x 40’ Gambrell Barn Build. I built it myself with some help from family, friends and borrowed or rented equipment. This video shows the progress from clearing the lot to completing the structure. The garage has a second-floor loft and will have a first-floor bathroom with a shower. If you would like to see more details on specific construction phases, leave a note in the comments.

Ground Beef Jerky in a Convection Oven
มุมมอง 38K2 ปีที่แล้ว
This is a video on making Ground Beef Jerky. I'm using a convection over as my dehydrator. The recipe will work for oven or dehydrator. This recipe is suing grass fed beef but you can use any low fat meat. Other options are any game meet, Bison, turkey all work well. Comment below if you want a listing of ingredients.
How to replaced a Kitchen Aid wall oven with a New Frigidaire confection oven.

This is how we replaced our Kitchen Aid wall oven with a New Frigidaire confection oven. Our old ovens mother board kept on going bad. It was a bad design that the heat from the oven would melt the control board. The board failed on it twice.

    Wrong technique to measure.. you should only measure blade angle.

    • @HotJam5
      @HotJam5 5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      but if the blade angle inside the clamp isn’t uniform on both sides he’d have to keep adjusting height of the slider that holds the stone. A lot more work than just leveling out the clamp.

    Cost effective, you figure $0.80 cents of power, 1lb meat $6-7 dollars 2-3 hours of time, compared to a 1lb bag of jerky at $25-28 dollars.

    I have the same exact generator. Usually always run on propane. Never had a problem till recently. Last time I pulled it out to run for a bit, would not start. Used the electric start till the battery started running down. Tried the pull start, still nothing. But then tried the electric and it sputtered a little, but that was it. I could smell a little propane and I started to wonder if the regulator on the propane tank is clogged or something. Anybody have an ideas? I'm tempted to try gas, but if it does not start, then I might have to drain the gas out. I just like using the propane, not as messy.

      The part he showed about putting it in the oven at 350F (I think that's what he mentioned) for 15 minutes is to Pasteurize it (kill all the bacteria), so then it can potentially remain good at room temp for 30 days or more (the salt and/or sugar helps to prevent bacterial and fungal growth). It is better, though, to keep them in the refrigerator to be sure that they remain fresh and don't go bad.

    • @billymacktexasdetective5827

      @caryrogers9676 Pasteurization is 212 Fahrenheit, or less. 350 Fahrenheit is not pasteurization...

      Even if they weren’t, those are constants in the measurements he’s taking. The clamp flipping is the only variable, and therefore the only thing that’s causing a change. Since the whole system works off the angle of the sharpening guide RELATIVE to the angle of the clamp, making sure that the angle of the clamp is consistent is what will make it work anywhere. The angle will always be the same, whether than sharpener is clamped to a perfect level surface, or even upright, the relative angle of the sharpener to the blade clamp will always be the same.

    I'm really pleased with this! It works like a charm th-cam.com/users/postUgkxDcr-y2Pf6xdnrFHrSP7dl9kpKaCozcSQ Takes less time than my old electric sharpener because it can take more off the knife faster, and then it smooths out nicely with the finer grit polisher. I don't know how long it will last before the grit wears away, but I wouldn't mind having to replace it every once in a while.

  • @Therapistinthewhitehouse

    You're measuring the angle of the clamp. You should be measuring the angle of the knife.
