My projects… which seem to be endless. Some involve working with wood, while others are mechanical/ utility in nature. I even occasionally show brewing beer episodes! Basically, whatever I’m into at the moment. 😁

Amazing work dude! looking great!
@@Deshley_ thanks!
Hey man!! I stumbled across your channel just now. Absolutely top work!! Proper TH-cam!
@@theofieldhouse thank you!
Too bad the whole floor Tom doesn’t have that gorgeous figuring. The good part about that is no one in the audience will see the backside of the drum!😝 Overall turning out to be a very successful drum kit build-should look and sound great when all set up!
@@mojokooistra7056 I don’t expect an audience, so no worries here😂
Awesome!
@@timothysines682 thanks Timmy!
Another great job on an innovative design! Can’t wait to see the whole set in all its glory!😁

That is cool. Thanks for sharing!
Thanks, Steve! The sound in the video is kinda crappy. It actually sounds good (really good) in person. 😁
Nice!

Older video, very nice 66 C-10, you did a great job on restoration of this Truck, I have a 66 C-10 also, I restored in 2013, 3 years to complete, so I know the amount of time and money, and the work involved in completing this truck, you have a beautiful Truck, hope you get a good price for your C-10, Excellent video, SUBSCRIBED.
Thank you for your kind words. 3 years is how long it took me as well! Lots of blood, sweat, and tears for sure. All the best to you!
@Curts_C10 AMEN BROTHER, Good Luck with your Truck.
What size hole saw did you use for the tach and clock holes?
@@Green1784 I don’t remember what size. I measured the gauge itself to determine what size I needed.
Thanks for sharing your experience, it is very helpful.
Great video... thanks. You didn't mention what the torque was on the outer hub nut.
It's your Jeep, but if it were mine, it would never have a tire bigger than a 31" x 10.50" 15 BFG AT or MT mounted to it. All of my off pavement driving happens on legal, open Forest Service or BLM routes and I'm not going ANYWHERE here in 2024 that a whole bunch of somebodies haven't been to before in stock flat-fenders running O.E. 6.00 X 16 NDT's at 28" tall. I've been places in stock flat-fender Jeeps prior to 1972 that nobody can get to in a motorized vehicle today, thanks to Forest Service and BLM travel management plans that resulted in trail closures over a three-decade span of time. I did the Rubicon five times in a TJ with rear limited slip running 31" BFG ATs and four of those times, I was pulling my M-416 military cargo trailer along behind me. The last time I did it, I did it in my CJ-2A at stock ride height on 6.00 x 16 NDT's. No lift. No Lockers. No big rubber. No problem. I was riding in uncle's Jeeps on that trail when a 10-15 Gates Commando was considered massive off-road rubber. I've been driving off-pavement in low-range four wheel drives even before buying one of my own in 1986 when I bought a new Suzuki Samurai. I've never run a tire taller than 32" and only did that once on a 2011 Ford Ranger that just as big a turd on the trail with 32" rubber as it was on stock 30" rubber. In truth, it was a bigger turd with the bigger tires, being 3.73:1 in the final drive with a five-speed manual. On everything else I've had, aside from my Samurai that I used to have and the CJ-2 I have now, the biggest rubber I've run in 31". I had those on an 89 Isuzu Trooper RS short-wheelbase, an 87 Pathfinder, a 73 Bronco. an 89 XJ Cherokee with 2.5" lift, and a '98 TJ. I had no problem getting wherever I wanted to go and doubt I ever will. There is a VAST difference in wheel and tire weight in going from 31" to 33" tires. That additional unsprung weight is hard for a leaf-spring suspension to cope with and you'll notice it on "washboard" dirt "fire roads" you often have to run in order to get to a "real Jeep trail." When you get to that real Jeep trail, the extra inch of clearance you gain by running a 33" tire over a 31" generally doesn't make a damn particle of difference in your ability to go where you want to go, but that extra weight translated into rotational mass is harder on everything. It's harder on your brakes, your wheel bearings, your axles, and everything else, including your transmission and your engine crankshaft if you're running a manual transmission, as most Jeepers do. 33" looks bitchin' on a CJ 7. No doubt. But as one who who was off pavement driving as a nine year old kid and has been doing it for 51 years since, I'm not convinced they're actually bitchin' and add more to trail performance than they take away. I still think that if you're running a vehicle with a wheelbase under 100" and something old-school like a CJ, early Bronco, Scout 80, FJ 40 Land Cruiser, 31" is the sweet spot. If you're running something like a half-ton pickup of something pickup based, like an old Blazer or Jimmy, full-size Bronco, Wagoneer, Ramcharger or Trail Duster, then 33" makes a little more sense to me. But at the end of the day, if I can't get where I want to go in a CJ Jeep on 31" rubber, then I'd probably rather walk, ride a horse, or use my trail bike to get there than try getting there in a four-wheel drive. A CJ Jeep on 31" tires is more than capable of handling over 95% pf all legal, open routes on Forest Service and BLM land.
Awesome dogs! Be careful if you or anyone in your family is allergic to poison oak. The dogs probably got it on their fur while playing around 3:20. That being said, I’m not trying to sound like a jerk, I’ve just dealt with it all my life. It sticks out like a sore thumb when I see it. Take care and I hope y’all have a great day!👍🏻
BW trans are light duty designed for passenger cars. Tremec is stronger, intended for light truck. BW has a finned case and curved shifter stick. Tremec has a smooth, rounded case and straight shifter stick.
Try tacking the whole project together including the inside braces. Flip it over weld underside. You will get much less warping. Stagger your welds so you don't have all your heat on one area. Last thing is weld on your expanded steel. I've never seen it done like that, ever!
Nice job!
@@timothysines682 thanks!
Exciting start of a great new project! Good looking wood too!

Why not drill the hardware instead of you nice tub? Without paint touchup on your tub, you introduce a rust point.
Thanks! Can’t wait to play them!
Here’s to the start of the next phase of the awesome drum kit build!😊
I watched all of the videos you posted making this snare drum, amazing work! I hope you will continue making videos crafting the rest of the drum kit. I 'm hooked and wish there were more videos to watch. Keep up the awesome work!
I've always wanted to custom build a drum set, this is so cool! The depth of details are very much appreciated.
How well does the ac work
Ok, but not as cold or as high of fan blowing as I’d like.
The drum looks incredible! Hands down the nicest looking snare drum I’ve seen! If I were to have a drum built for myself it would look like this! Great job and here’s hoping you’ll be building more for years to come!😎🙏😇
You are so reassuring and sweet to this precious baby! Toto is such a great name too! He was very brave and he completely trusts you. 🥰 What an adorable swimming lesson! Good job, Toto! ❤️

WHERE did you connect the PINK wire? I am trying to find a spot that meets the needs in my 83 Laredo, but it is eluding me right now...
If I remember correctly, I found a spot on the fuse block that was hot only when the key was turned on
Very cute :)
Is there an easy way to tell which tyranny I have? I've got an 85 cj7 with the 4.2 liter. It slipped out of 2nd going down a hill the other day.
Is it a 5spd?

I would say Borg Warner, but I’m not sure. Mine is a 5speed Tremec
My bad, it should be a Tremec also, T176
@@Curts_C10 Thanks.
Man that jeep looks great 19:52
Thank you. Very fun to drive!
Very cool! Should be a great looking drum with those matching hoops. Can’t wait to see the finished and assembled drum!
Such a good boi. Stand his ground against a cat and bravely jump intro the pool .🥰
It's very cute, but you kind of missed out on the most important part, at least here, and that's showing him where the stairs are and to use them.
😂 I actually did show him, but he prefers to jump in 😁
@@Curts_C10 - The point being is to get out. He keeps going to the high edge to try and get out. About a year ago, a youtuber lost both his dogs when a guy working on the pool left the gate open. Dogs are like kids and can be sneaky. They need it engrained in their heads what to do if they are in, and know how to get out. I'm just thinking of the safety of your pets. 😃
Very good point! Thanks for that insight.
toto is clever and brave puppy!
I'm about to do a 2.5 inch lift on my 82 CJ5, and I'm shopping for boomerang greasable shackles. Are you happy with the 1/2 inch shackle lift, or would you go to 3/4 or something?
I like the 1/2” lift greaseable shackles. I had taller ones on before, but it adversely affected steering stability.
Cool to see the hoops really take on their final dimensions! Can’t wait to see the finished product!
Me too 😁
Don’t read that title without your glasses lol Yaooooooooh !
😂
I think I see how you’re making 3 hoops out of four glued together rings. Each hoop will be 4 thirds of a ring in height yes?
Actually, I’m only making two hoops out of the four rings. But, they’ll have a taller profile than standard hoops.
Can’t wait to see how those hoops take shape!
Looking forward to the next phase. GOD is good 😊
