Does this recalibrate the gauges, or is that another story ?

All this replacement may not be necessary. Verify first. Remove PCV valve and just shake It back and forth about 10 times. If it sounds like a marble back and fourth in a can Rattling..it is good. Check first and only replace if needed. You can just clean it up with gasoline, oven clearer or cleaner from parts store. Be smart check first and only do what is necessary. 😊😊

Hello, I have a 2004 Nissan Frontier, and the speedometer is not working. I followed your video and needle moved, so I installed a new vehicle speed sensor. The speedometer is still not working , any idea what else could be causing it to not work?

Grease the forcing screw or you tear up the threads very quickly.

Is it safe to continue using it without fixing it?

other end of that hose, the pcv valve hose, is it loose in the seat?

Exactly the video supplement to the installation instructions I was looking for. I ordered this part 3 days ago and paid for it. After reading the comments here I called Anderson and they refunded the entire purchase price. I was also able to get them to provide a free touchup kit to repair the scratches in the latch bar on the opposite side. Great stuff!

Big help! Thank you!! I struggled, first, with finding the spare. Then struggled trying to get it out of the tray. And, you're right - it is a stupid design! It is even more stupid than the spare tire on top of the engine in the LeCar, back in the '80's!! Thank you for the video!!

This actually work on my 370z lol but mine cluster work but sometime the speedometer or rpm meter get stuck or go under 0 but still work but for example sometime it get stuck at 20mph and then just start going up from there when I go

This is a *fantastic* demonstration - THANK YOU. The visuals make all the difference; seeing how to assemble it and what's actually going on underneath and knowing it has to come out the driver's side (UGH), we feel a lot more prepared now (!) We just bought a T&C used from someone, bad treads on the tires (getting them replaced today), just trying to figure out everything we might need to do in an emergency, especially, hey, where IS that spare tire, anyhow?

@beachtroll, you are correct “stupidest design ever. Who wants to be in dead winter 50 below dealing with that. I’d much rather just keep that spare readily inside the vehicle at all times. Great vid…

I skimmed thru this video,, my hinges can be replaced separately. I used an allen wrench as a tool ,, to push the spring pin inside down, so that the hinge can pop out. Not sure if yours is made the same.. My door came with the house.

I called Anderson and they sent me a new one no charge. There is a lifetime warranty on that item. They told me the new one will probably need to be replaced sometime in the future. They know this is an issue so it's covered for life.
