This is just like the scene in Carry On Up The Khyber.

Why isn’t this Documentary listed in IMDB? They’re usually pretty comprehensive. I saw this in a cinema in the late 1970s, but have never been able to find it again.

Anyone spotting similarities with the final scene of 'Carry On Up the Kyber'?

Just been reading about this scene in Cleese's autobiography. Apparently those were real bullets being fired at his glass!

Is it possible that Graham wasn't in the main sketch but made some sort of cameo at the end, possibly filmed separately? It seems odd that the Pythons would forget that he wasn't actually in the sketch, and would make sense if he was only in a small part of it given his ill health. Would be fascinating to see but sadly even if the footage exists it's unlikely to ever be shown I think.

Back in the 70s(When I was my teens), I would get SO excited whenever I found another British film that John Cleese was in. I was utterly obsessed with him, and most Americans in those days before there were books about Python probably assumed that his on-screen career only began with Python.
