Everything We Know About Dying Light: The Beast
Dying Light: The beast is a new standalone game being developed by Techland that serves as a sequel to the original game and brings us back to our beloved fan favorite protagonist, Kyle Crane. It started out as just as DLC 2 for Dying Light 2 but overtime grew into it's own thing. In this video I'm going to break down and analyze some screenshots and information from the game, and talk about my personal hopes for the games future.
For all the real one: Hey what's up everybody, I know this isn't my usual hyper ADHD fueled game reviews but I wanted to get my thoughts out on this as fast as I could lol, been trying to balance a bunch of different responsibilities in life as well as making more videos as fast as possible, so I'm doing a little bit of experimentation. This game had no guns at launch therefore 0/10
Neither did any fantasy game
They need to do another bad blood that shi was fun af and it would fs take off with how popular streaming is rn
what makes me hate the game the most is the gore when u are at a point where u almost always one shot those fuckers u barely dismember them they just die
I’m glad, that a bought it a few weeks ago! At first it was to empty for me, but than got the 57gb upgrade, and it’s waaay better!

Gun fights better not be a joke like they were in the first game because enemy’s would just mow you down in seconds and you’d have no cover
I just don’t understand why we needed tower raid? What were people expecting? Techland should stop listening to fans asking for trendy things like tower raid because every single time players get what they want they never deliver on it we’ll and players don’t want it anymore
I see so many videos hating on DL2 and I just got into the 1st one recently and it’s 🔥🔥🔥 DL2 doesn’t look so bad. I get it’s different but does it really deserve all the hate

This game was so fucking garbage when it released because it had bad combat and no guns, it felt like a downgrade because DL1 was way better

I always questioned the abundance of trees on rooftops. Not gonna lie it looks beautiful though.

They should focus on adding more events like low gravity. Makes the game hilarious, the carnage hall update was decent imo. Story was pretty good

Played DL2 when it came out, it was good but not great. Played again last week, its fukken better than the first DL in many ways, even though I really dont like the agents or whatever. Havent got in to the tower dlc thingy yet. Kinda miss the buggy tho

Didn't he die? Because I'm pretty sure in one ending a nuke happened and the other he finally became the night hunter
He became a sentient volatile but was experimented on for years probably gaining back a human form but volatile at night

Wait a minute. Dying light 2 takes place 20 years later. And kyle was confirmed to die at the end of 1. Wtf is this lore?
He wasn’t confirmed to have died, he was confirmed to have turned and considering what he had been through and seen in The Following and DL1 it makes sense that he’d go through some special mutation

Saying trees wouldn’t be on roofs is just plain wrong, there’s dozens of factors that could and are playing into account
@@charlatan5432 there’s almost no dirt on top of the roofs and the ceilings are really thin.
I personally love the element of trees being on rooftops cause it really brings the feeling of apocalypse to life.
@@yungdani7070 I would’ve rather in been overgrown in a less artistic way, in dying light 2 there’s almost no plant life on the ground compared to the rooftops which I can only assume is supposed to be an artist referencing the zombies down on the ground vs the living on the rooftops but even then it just doesn’t seem very realistic and I think it takes away from the experience
@@ElisTheWorst thats true, i would prefer something from both like a few trees on rooftops and plant life on the ground ig
@@ElisTheWorst ceilings being thin doesn’t necessarily dictate architectural soundness but the supports holding it up, you also don’t need much dirt for a lot of plants as long as nutrients are present such as the corpses of the dead and rain water

With the Beast, its obvious they are trying to erase DL2 in a way the mistakes they made, theyve done well to change a lot of 2 but theres only soo much they can do to fix it The Beast is their chance to bring back what got people to love DL1, just hope they get it right

This game is called Dying Light 2 and nah I’ve played both and I don’t think you’ll be disappointed. It’s not as in depth as mirror’s edge but it’s still fun
It's actually the only part of the game that makes it different from the 50+ other zombie games
It's a better parkour game but a way, way worse Zombie Game.
@@MattyMatthew-m4o No doubt about that, while it’s definitely improved since release, I hate how much of a backseat zombies have in this game.
It was a good game. If it wasn’t tied to dying light 1 people would have liked it more. Plus also people got realllly salty over no guns
@@DS-fg2nb I agree. People got really salty over a lot of small issues in the game. For example the thousands of people talking about the flashlight as if it were something that really mattered at the end of the day. Also I think that guns shouldnt have ever been added into dying light 2, because the gameplay was designed with the melee combat in mind, it’s like trying to add guns into Skyrim, they break the gameplay and become super overpowered.

Should have added guns. This game was crap. Honestly goingto download thr first game again andplay it. I got mayhe 1 hour in thr new game
@@historyZZ I think the lack of guns was just one of many issues but I don’t think adding guns would’ve saved the game. I mean they did go back and add guns into the game but even then it wasn’t great
I think the devs wanted something more simple
