Well, in the book this would be Captain Yoshinaka. He sort of is the head of Lady Mariko's bodyguards and even though he is a minor side character, we still learn that he is a great human being with a humble and understanding personality and a fearless fighter. Like in the TV series he goes out as an absolute boss showing true samurai dignity and discipline.

I was also disappointed in Alien:Romulus. For me, Alien and Aliens are the only good films. Even Ridley Scott's prequals themselves are sub-par for me and just leave more questions than answers. Alien Romulus started quite well, but quickly left you with many unanswered questions. The ending was weak with yet another DNA mix whose maturation process had been incredibly fast. I would have preferred to see the Neill Blomkamp film that was canceled by Ridley Scott. I think Blomkamp could have done better.

Braveheart is one of those films that's a blight on historical accuracy but so much fun because it gets you jumped up on patriotism every time. Scotland!!!!!! Scotland!!!!!!!

Aliens in this movie are just guests. Why. Aliens are so inteligent that she killed 20 of them like that. Black goo is trash. Teenagers are better than marines in aliens. Ash recreation is laughable. Movie doesn't care bout the lore at all. Why in the end they gave us some ass creature, when this movie is called ALIEN. I'm shocked that they put so much effort in visuals in such a mid movie. That's over for me with movies in this franchise. Game over man.

I am not a fan of this duology one iota. As far as I'm concerned it completely disrespected the book its based on. The Baron is portraited as a fat idiot, they missed out key scenes which are there to provide important context, Princess Irulan had all her scenes cut from the first movie, Space Folding was changed completely, and the Harkonnens were comic book villains. Someone please for heaven's sake make Due with the adherence to the source material the mini-series was with the special effects from these two movies which is frankly the only thing going for them.

The battles in Dune were exactly as they should have been. The descriptions in the book of the battles, Youi know . "The Book". Dune. One of the greatest Sci-Fi books of all time, were just a paragraph or two long. Paul and the Fremen had the upper hand. That was shown in all of the adaptations of the book. Lynch's movie. Scy-fy Channel miniseries and the latest movies. When something is depicted as it was originally written. It is the "best". Not the worst. The whole subject is so off base to what Herbert wrote. The real "battles" in Dune took place in the minds and souls of his characters. Seems like a wasted effort trying to make something into something else.

The title is hyperbole. There are far more horrible battles out there.

I was so disappointed with the second movie, and somewhat the first, it just seemed like most the film was people sitting on sandunes and talking. With some CGI here and there. Nothing amazing. Even the end fight scene was a let down just follow the book ffs

Real nerd here ... And while I agree that a lot is not said in the film... You have to understand that there is a point... Realism is not the aim here... While I agree that lasers where... Abused in the first movie... In the book they where as powerful... If not more... Indeed if u recall dunkan set up traps for them... And they detonate a couple of times... This is not said in the movie... But it's implied... And it was probably in a scene that was cut... Also... From the God emperor of dune we know that lasers cannot harm warms... No matter how powerful... So... Yea again... It wasn't said... But all thing considered this battle was OK... They outflanked them... By destroying a mountain.... So it made sense that the sardukar didn't have protection from that side... The scales are... Ok in my opinion... Also in this universe a real battle between 2 army hasn't been fought in ages... So again... A mess is to be expected

DUNE never was about proper warfare and everything scale according to plot

Agreed, the battles all suck. The fremen hide and hand fight the harvester guards only to blow up the thing at the end. Villeneuve Spaits and Roth non-tactical silly writing. The storm in the final battle was supposed to be so severe that all thopters were grounded but book shmook.

to be honest: most battles in historical movies are BS. people in medieval or earlier times never fought battles without formations - and they held these formations, or the battle was lost. no fights one-on-one or such crap. there were no weapons with fire used in the roman battles in that centuries (later, greek fire was used against ships during the islam invasions). a cavalry force attacks through the forest? 😅🤣😂 you wouldn't need an enemy to break such an attack, becoming a bloody desaster. the forest alone would be enough to end such a brainless attempt. and where are the pila-"showers"? these throwing spears were made to slow down a "barbarian attack" - with devastating effect because of how the pilum was constructed. yes, and there is more, but to cut this: you are right. Fantasy. (sorry for my English, it's not my language)

I can't say that I disagree, now that you point it out. I mostly wonder if those silent streches in the video is your headset acting up, or if you are having a few minor strokes? ;-)

Kudos to both actors. Errol Flynn kept up believably with Basil Rathbone, an accomplished fencer.

Another good one is Ty Power v Bas Rathbone in Zorro. Their fight was all done in one take.

The final showdown in scaramouche is the finest sword fight in hollywood history sir...although errol and basil are peerless fellows of course and it is a brilliant scene.

The action is actually really good in that entire movie. Also take a look at the Gene Kelly Three Musketeers movie as well.

Christ, it took the greatest Sith sorcerer of the Bane lineage to spend even a day in the temple, and that was down in the archives where MAYBE three Jedi at a time, at a distance of 100 feet away +/-, stood little to no chance of detecting her. By the end of this series both The Stranger Qimir and Darth Venamis Venestra will be killed off forcing Lord Tenebrous to move forward with his apprentice Darth Plagueis.

It would be really really bad if the Executive Producer and creator of the show cast her bad acting wife as the "lead" role in a tv series. Very very bad. But, I think Vernesta is Qimir's original Jedi Master who accepted him as her acolyte. He failed, they got into a fight, she light saber whipped him in the back (hence his back scar) and he ended up going and being drained in the Dark Side by Witch (who gave birth to the twins) who is the TRUE Sith Lord in this show.

Also lives all time in the Jedi order and is a fanatic Jedi, nasty being, maybe some kind of dark side user(cause of dementia) or Sith outside of Bane line, not The Sith.

How can you find time and space to be a Sith in the Jedi Temple and always around the jedi? Maybe she can become a Sith.
