Bellissima! Ne sto facendo una ora! Ma ho rinunciato al timone con i tiranti non trovando cosa usare per le carrucole. Davvero complimenti !
thanks for watching and giving your comment. I hope your success.
You couldn’t even fit a sardine in the hull it’s so full of electronics and running gear. Well done!
thanks for your comment.
Superb
Needs more speed; this is a planing hull so half the hull should be out of the water at full speed. Good conversion though.
Awesome! I subscribed your channel with my profiles.
Great work! And we made another same convertion LOL th-cam.com/video/X92zbfvFye8/w-d-xo.html

Do you have plans for this model?
Hello Mike. Sorry for my late reply. If your meaning "plans" is kind of drawings, yes. But my drawings is not 100% for building of this ship. Because some parts were made by fitting process and hand made one.
Can you explain how to set up the pivot turn mode please
Hello Aaron, thank you for watching my move. I will answer to your question. When I set the Pivot Turn Mode, one of the two axis propellers has a forward driving force. I call this side of the propeller as "A side". At this time I turn the A side rudder to the inside , means the flow of the water will be brought into the inside of the ship. The quick turn operation make the most of the spin turn force combining the two opposite turning propeller's force and A side rudder reaction force. On my youtube video I showed you the way of the manual operation, the transmitter T10J has a program function to this action automatically. Now I use the program function. Sorry for my poor explanation, I hope that you can understand what the quick spin turn operation. Thank you.
Are u using metal tracks?
No, I added rusty paintings on the trak.
Very nice am currently doing the same What motor/esc do you use
Hello! George. The answer of your question is on the last credits of this move. Thanks for watching.
@@sugisan9872 Thanks for the info but a little unclear as to the esc to use. I am new to all of this and any help is greatly appreciated
@@sugisan9872 Sorry for another question with the motor what rpm do you suggest. Thanks
I just bought a second hand one, it's missing the upper deck and I will need to build it myself, do you perhaps have some images you can share so I start making the plans?
Hello Frank. Thank you for visiting my move. I will help to your request as much as I can. How could we share some data?
Whats that on 1:43
The scene on 1:43 shows the adjustable open hatches. Under the hatches, there is a rudder servo.
One more question my I ask...what aluminum material did you use for you landing skids....Thx my friend,, :)
Hello Ricky. The skids are made by 3mm diameter aluminum pipes. The step plate is 0.5mm punching plate also aluminum material.
@@sugisan9872 Thank you so much Sugi...you do great work..
hi and what a lovly pilot . Im in the middle of building the same kit and i have a few questions regarding search light.Iv tryed to figger out what you have done by the vid but with no luck so i wonted to know if you have a vid of how you made it move our if you could post some close ups of the servos and the way you have rigged it up to give me the same up and down motion and left to right motion. Also the hull iv built it but i have a step were the bottom skin meets the side did you fill it if so what did you use to fill it with i have milliput and stabilit express . also what glues did you use iv found it hard and dear for some of the glues mainly all coming from germany costing a arm and leg im in england and cant find any thing on the shelfs here apart from mormal epoxys of which i know wont work on abs just peals of due to oil content in abs also i noticed you have made the deck so you can unbolt it to remove a great idear of which im hoping to do the same and wonted to know if you found any water getting in and is it worth laying down a layer of silacan to make the seal water proof i think thats all i have to ask and i hope you can help big thankyou for the vid very helpfall maybe you have 1 of the build id love to see that and it would answer alot of question as im finding it hard to find any more vids on this kit maybe you our any one else has links you can post me once again big thankyou and thanks for reading i look forward to any other vids you have made .
Dear Paul Sorry for my late reply. I could not check your TH-cam comment on time. Thank you for watching my ship move and I am very pleased about getting question from the same field enthusiast like you. I try to give my answer to your questions. (1) searchlight detecting motion : the important point for this design is inventing smooth and no-play link system. In my case, I adopt an one pole system which consisted outer pipe and inner shaft, the inner shaft can be allow rotating and push-pulling motion. The servo for rotating (L/R) action is connected by ball joint with the inner shaft and the other servo for push-pull action is connected by slide horn with long hole with the inner shaft. The rotating servo is controlled by sub channel (S-bas system) which is slaved rudder servo. The push-pulling servo is controlled by an independent channel. The reason for adopting the ball joint system on the rotating servo is it is necessary to absorb the up and down action with push-pull motion. Sorry for my poor explanation, it’s difficult to answer to your question about this subject. (2) The glue for building the hull : I used the instant glue. After temporary fixation joining the bottom member and the side member with the instant glue, because of the thin adhesive area of the contact line between bottom member and side member, I add the 1mm plastic bar on the contact line and pouring epoxy (slow hardening type) along the 1mm bar so that I can get more adhesive strength between bottom members and side members . (3) Deck sealing : I took the way of sponge sheet sealing as the sealing system. The sponge sheet has an much elastic characteristic and thickness 3mm. I cut out apx.5mm width’s belt and put it along the deck side with double-side tape. At the front center area of the deck panel, I designed the panel edge intersection structure as you can imagine from my you tube move. As actually, my PILOT boat keep the water proof condition after running on the water but not perfect… ^^; I hope your PILOT boat will be build up successfully and I’m looking forward to watch your PILOT move on the TH-cam soon. Good Regards
Top!
Very nice job !

@@sugisan9872 is this the actual scale size 81cm ?
Yes.
@@sugisan9872 How do you make it smoke is it an electric boiler with oil added ? did you do it yourself or buy it ? I'm building one and want to make it smoke too
Hello, Dear MentallFloss. Hereunder I answer to your question. This smoke system is diverted from a desk humidifier which is able to operate by USB output (5V) , means this is not a kind of a boiler, just generate smoke by micro bubble of water. This time I prepared following points by myself making. (1) took away the outer case of the humidifier and abstracted the vibration gadget and the electrical circuit. (2) prepared the original water tank from scratch(50cc volume) to re-size and install inside the vessel. (3) prepared the regulated power supply circuit to exchange the main battery 7.4V to 5V for suppling the electric power to the humidifier. I hope your building up the fine Nordkap by yourself ! Following vessel is also one of my product which has the same smoke system. please see as your reference --> th-cam.com/video/jyBz3MDKVdY/w-d-xo.html Good Regard !
Tamiya lp for painting????
hello dear el el . I used Lacquer paint for hull, and acrylic paint for the other part. There is no reason to change painting for me , just for my stock situation.
Great stuff. Im building the same just 1:144. Im wondering what engine did you use, how big is your peopeller and what is your rpm?
Hello ! Thomas. Thank you for watching my move. I answer to your question hereunder . 1) This vessel has an electrical motor as a 350 class 5400rpm maximum with gear down unit 11T pinion and 67T drive gear means 887rpm @ propeller. 2) The diameter of propeller is 35mm with three blades. 3) The total mass of this vessel is 3000g. I hope your snowberry can reach a nice completion near future!!
@@sugisan9872 tahnk you for such quick reply. My tiny vessel has only 400g displacement, 430mm lenght and 71mm width so I need to watch what im putting inside. There is not much space neither so everything is micro. Im not rushing and taking time with every tiny detail. Im very early stage though. I just put together the main body, sank 1mm brass rod in plastic rudder and now im trying to install it so its not affecting the proppeler. I was today on the phone with a fellow from rc shop where i purchase most of the things and he suggested 6v motor with 9600rpm for that 3 bladed 20mm brass propeller. I think its a massive overkill and you confirm that now. I dont want this vessle to move at 10m/s just 1m/s will do just fine. Could you be so kind and share the exac market name of that motor, please. I have to tell you - it is my very first project and I dont want to mess it up. Thank you very much sir.
Dear Thomas. I send a URL about my gear down unit. www.captain-online.com/shopdetail/000000004362/ This unit is too much power and over size for your 1:144 snowberry. This is just a reference information.
@@sugisan9872 thank you very much, especially for answering this late at night. I hope you are not going to be late to work or school tomorrow. :-) I have to admit, I received so many different advices that I purchased 5 different sizes of motors to play with and find out. From tiny 20mm motor to one similar to this one RE280/5. I will let you know how it went once I got them.
That a 2004 wrx
Hello Shworsh. At the point of head light shape, this model has a spherical shape, and the other type WRX 2004 has like a square one. Then it means this model is WRX 2002 version I think.
