I will save these carburetors!!! Lamborghini 350GT 40 DCOE 20/21 FYI Carb 371 (BR) is the carb body that had the Broken idle needle...that carb has the least amount of corrosion damage. #vintagelambo

Look at that metal of the tunnel. Looks like it was beaten like a bad debt.
That is a thin metal that retains heat insulation. There are some scars from a previous time that the diff had been removed. Thank you for your comment.
@@vintagelambo Thanks. I thought it was the unibody
Super appreciate your comment... absolutely I need to bring the Press up to a better standard

Personally with the part in your right-hand I would have given it a little more angle on that inside chamfer apart from the tool that you had made. The finish was good after pressing it in.
Look into a company here in Cleveland, System Seals, they will help you with custom stuff
Yes that's the proper way to do it.
be able to fabricate your tools is a major asset when you have to work on specialized / weird vehicules or any mechanics. excellent video.
With a 10" lathe and a 1.5 hp mill you can make 90% of what you need. Thank you very much your comment!!!
cringing watching you do this on that Starrett surface plate, find a company that makes counter tops from polished stone and get a drop from them,,,,,,the sink hole drops make great surface plates.....you can probably get one for free....with no worry of ruining...... thanks for the Video, friend of a 1967 Muria owner who I have helped work on since 1980.... putting the engine in is a real experience......cheers from Orlando, Paul
The Starrett has been though a lot of use before me... Thanks for your comment!!!
I truly like the tools you make for the Lambo ( or any other application ). It would be a very good idea to improve the guidance of your press because, one day or another, you'll crook a seal, bearing or a valuable part. I done a press for my shop and what I done is that I turned my jack upside down and of course, I modified my jack to have it function properly that way. To modify your jack, look at Internet, there is much info about that modification, the only thing they do wrong is that they rely on the original o ring to maintain the oil in the jack, this should be modified to install a spring loaded oil seal. to replace the original o ring. Nice job on that slinger
it is a higher trade level when you fabricate your tools. very good job on that Lambo
Mine?
This guy must be related to Kamala Harris. He keeps saying the same thing while saying nothing at all.
Side to side should not be that much of an issue. unless more the what the u joints/ CV can handle 1-3 degree is ok. MANY Oe built cars are like this.
Espadas are very Prone to vibration... Thanks for your comment!!!
Drill and grind the spots. Then fill them with a Tig welder. Put shaft on lathe and turn to correct diameter.
I believe those are called Welsh plugs
Yes indeed,,,many names...this time used on machined steel not the usual casting application. Thanks for the comment!!!
Someone did that because the check book was getting too light! It "worked" just long enough to become someone else's problem. I would have at least used some loctite 660...
Roberto, it is always a pleasure to watch your videos. Yes, and always impressed.
Thank you for keeping me inspired
18:13 as you are unscrewing, the broken tip falls through the fuel feed tube, into the float bowl, and bounces out onto the bench. Fortunately, it didn't lodge in a gallery. Next time: don't have the adjusting screw in, rotate the assembly 90 degrees so that the tip falls out of the adjusting screw hole, and position your counter-snipers on the roof.
Actually 16:01
Make an aluminum die to shape the brass end cap.
Love the attention to detail. Swapping out a 60 year old part in motion like those springs sure seems like an easy win!
I appreciate your comments...thanks for watching!!!
I like the safety wire tip.
I put my leather seals on without punching the hole bigger. Won’t be doing that again! Throttle is too stiff…not sure if I should bother with disassembling it again to correct it or just let it wear into the seals and make sure I have an external return spring
Hope it works in but you may want to take them out and re-work the hole
Do not eat the gears lol
so far so good :=)
Nice!
Thank you! Cheers!
Very good
Thank you so much!!!
What an awesome work- around!
Thanks!!!
Impressionante. Obrigado.
i appreciate your kindness.
You go Roberto, you are the Master Mechanic.

Keep up the good work! When I finally buy a Lambo I know where to get help!
Typical of companies trying to save money just costing owners more time and money down the road.
Pretty amazing Not many people can do this level of work
Thank you, Super appreciate your comment!
