The quality of this footage is surprising
Al is so spry back then
Best period of Ministry
He wasn't intelligent enough to see that he could have been cooler like front 242 and skinny puppy-dig it era, and been more aggressive.what a loss.
Awful and entertaining. Kinda love those 80ies sounds, remind me of my Kawai K4 synth that was also used by Front242.
One of my favourite! Nice dress
Whats wrong with Al
Kids, this is what drugs will do to you.
Bad ass somg
I really wish this didn't get cut at 0:18
I wonder what eventually got them so angry 😂
I was there.
me too!
I imagine it was snowing heavily in Al's room prior to his performance 😂
Ministrys best song
god he was so hot
That fake British accent makes me cringe
Sorry Al this is awesome
Ministry has gone through so many eras: -New wave -EBM/Industrial -Industrial metal -Thrash Metal -And whatever the new stuff is And every era has at least a few highlights. I checked out after Barker quit, for the most part, but The Last Sucker wasn’t bad.
There is good footage of Ministry from the With Sympathy and the LORAH eras, but crappy footage from the Twitch era.. Why??
Them are my Ministry ,i everything about 80 movies , music ,cars ,event, ect ect😍
Ya no existen grupos así en el 2024 con semejante fuerza abismal, los 80s fue lo mejor 🤟🤟
Everything Al did in the 80s was gold.
New wave new wave new wave😻
just look at him go LMAO
Oct 84, i was 19. This is crap. Give me me Iron Maiden!
0:20 Tom Cruise when he went on Oprah.
God money before god money
So very provocative
It's 2024 and still this is the best Ministry song
lol the over-rated nobody runs his mouth.
Did nobody say anything to Al before he went on stage wearing that outfit? Lolll
That bugger sugar hittin hard for ole uncle Al 😂
No wonder Al is a terrible drug addict..... if i remembered doing this I'd want to forget too!
Ahead of his time since forever
Al's hair sure grew out quickly back then.
In his book Al Jourgensen repeatedly claimed that Clive Davis hoodwinked him into a contract whereby he had to produce this kind of music. He doesn't look like he's been hoodwinked here, does he? Nobody is twisting his arm up behind his back to perform.
Ministry sounding like NIN, long before NIN existed. As well as thousands of other bands trying to sound like Ministry.
Nin 😂😂😂😂
Always hoped to get a group together to “air band” this track. 2 keyboards, 3 percussion, and a singer!
Yeah the early stuff evokes nostalgia and wanting.
If he's really as sensitive about his musical beginnings as people have suggested, then my take on it is that he must have not been very well set on what persona he wanted to project. What I mean is somewhere, somehow, something, someone, his most negative demons convinced him to run away from the tumbling, dancy, drama personality. Honestly, in one asinie comment of Al, in reference to an mage where he dresses quite goth, the writer says he can't beleive he was so fucking gay! Maybe he grew sick of people telling that.
That is al jourgensen!! Crazyy😲
gold dust
So glad they made a change...they would of faded out if he didnt take the band into heavier stuff ....not much more u can do with this sound...but he is the grandfather of industrial music ....no NIN without them and skinny puppy
never mind every day is halloween or the shasta commercial, that outfit should top the list of things uncle al is most ashamed of!
The magnitude of this man’s depth is AWSOME he understand the world since his youth , preach bro
Milwaukee Wisconsin loves you Ministry! 80s forever!
Ministry Forever !!!
Bailinho bom demais esse!! Gostaria de ter ido.
Hopefully, Al found his marks (discover drugs) after these two bad records to eventually deliver the metal industrial sound that we all like instead of this bad parody of disco.
Love this early raw version of the song, as it wasn't released on vinyl until June 1985. Must have been some of his earliest industrial work.
