Carvers have weird little spaces in the back
Surprisingly spacious.
This is my favorite comment so far! Haha
Fun drinking game. Take a sip every time this dude says "loop"
How many sips would you have taken?
Beautiful boat but 1 engine is for lakes except Michigan
nice walk thru!
Thank you! Thanks for tuning in
You gotta show the engine room.
No I don’t
for a bottle of wine etc
a boat without engines ?? bad presentation.
Cool
You sale boats in Florida so pull your skirt up and do the videos just saying
One engine or two? Fuel capacity? Maximum range? If two use's twice as much i might want one. If I ever take the plung I will be looking at maximun range as a priority.
I just purchased my first boat, a 1987 Carver. Why all the hate on Carver boats…they’re very high quality…great vessel.
I have always enjoyed Carvers. I wouldn’t listen to the hate, or other people’s negativity. There will always be people that are going to have something to say! Enjoy your purchase and congratulations !
Do lenders finance boats as old as this?
Yeah, I have some lenders that will
@@BlayneTheBroker excellent.
On my 1964 WoodenChris Craft Constellation I used the Closet Onboard to hold my “Parlor sized Acoustic Guitar I liked those Guitars because they are basically a 3/4 sized Instrument but are combined with a Standard or Full Sized Neck and Fret board mine is a Gibson Composite made Guitar that doesn’t change its shape due to extreme Humidity changes you would find on a WoodenBoat Essentially the Guitar is all man made Materials ( A.K.A. plastic but is tastefully built to remble Natural Wood grains
Damn that is a nice ass boat for very inexpensive money
It’s a nice boat! The buyer got a good deal on it as well
My favorite boat. I would love to see a documentary on whoever designed it.
Have yet to meet someone who is not a fan!
Ready for your next boat, Blayne
Just posted one yesterday!
what year ? 1972. ??
It’s actually a 1792
Question…is it hot?
No, it was about 70 degrees
@@BlayneTheBroker 😜
Thanks for watching
@@BlayneTheBroker 👍
Great tour
Thanks for watching!
Hi Blayne! Nice job on this one.
Hey Glenn! Thanks for stopping by again!
I stopped watching when you called the helm a steering wheel 😮
Cool
Steering wheel is part of the helm. If you have to replace a steering wheel do you go into West Marine and say I need a new helm? The seats, instrumentation and dash are all components of the helm. Sad people seem compelled to troll for no reason. You should block Blayne so you won’t have to suffer through another faux pas.
Would like to know the range.
That’s a good question. Holds 300 gallons of diesel, so range will depend on conditions and cruising speed
The Fly version is very enticing but the French brands seem to have a bad rep with the boat guys around me. Outside of the Swift Trawler series perhaps.
Oh really? We were Jeanneau dealers for a while and I don’t think we had anyone who didn’t like their boat. Just curious, what brands do they prefer?
@@BlayneTheBroker I’m sure they’re fine long term. Like I said, I find some of the French boats pretty enticing. For example the Leader 9 CC and the Flyer 9 Spacedeck are the only sub 30ft boats I can think of with twin engines, bow seating, and a true usable cabin with a separate stand up head. The Leader 10.5 CC was really my second choice before I went with my current boat, and frankly it has more features in a smaller size. Around here, South Jersey, it’s more of a fishing first crowd. So they like Regulator, Contender, Grady White, Pursuit, etc. I would say there’s not many competitors in the family first boats that hit the feature/price point ratio the same way Jeanneau/Beneteau do.
Where on long Is ny. is the boat
What?
Great features on this boat for this price range. Thanks for sharing it with us.
Thanks for watching! Really appreciate it
Great job. Love that boat.
Thanks for always being in the comments!
Yes, I’m looking forward to moving back onto the water! Marina life for me for sure ! What year is this craft ?
This boat is a 1998!
Yes, I’m looking forward to moving back onto the water! Marina life for me for sure !
I’m interested in the 55’ Egg Harbor Sportsfisher! An older model like the 1988, thx !
Awesome! If I get the opportunity I will make a video on one, or if you would like help tracking one down to purchase feel free to reach out to us on our website!
Nice and tight! Very well cared for. I agree, very versatile. 😉
Thanks for checking out the video! Just got done surveying the boat last week, and running a mechanical survey on the boat on Friday.
LOVING yer vids Fellow Swabbie! (GSE-main engine rm) and I already subscribed !! peace and God Bless Brother ....oh yea....LMAO @ "2 is 1 and 1 is Done" !!! yup...they hammered that one home!! lol
hahah thank you for checking out the videos! and thanks for your service shipmate
Great boat! Those didn’t look like gas burners though. Aren’t those electric coils?
You are correct, they are electric burners! We are surveying the boat right now
Great tour & beautiful boat!
Haha thanks Cayla Boykin!
Very nice!
Thank you!
You're very welcome.
Nice boat, shame the motors aren't diesel.
Pros and cons to both! But I understand where you are coming from!
Want to see the motors to see how well maintained. Also if diesel or gas. Turbo charged. All adds to cost of maintaining. Engine hours would be nice. Am I going to have to do 1,000 hr service as soon as I buy or are they getting toward end of life. Liked that he's a marine surveyor. pretty sure he kept up with maintenance.
The motors are at the end of the video. Thanks for watching
The engine compartment and engines are in the video and he tells you they are gas. Must not have watched it.
Mechanics? Gas ? Diesel? Tankage? You're going to make me hunt for it?
lol you could just watch till the end, or click the link in the description
I don’t get it. He clearly shows GAS engines and says the word GAS. He has a link to full specs in the description. Clearly you either didn’t watch til the end or just a negative troll
Thank you for the tour. Very nice boat.
Thank you for watching!
It does look well maintained. Plenty of space to go out and float for a week or more.
Thanks for stopping by!
What the loop? And why won’t this bot last long?
The great loop is a rout boaters take around the US. And it didn’t last long because of the condition, price and features.
Nice layout.
Thanks for always stopping by!
100% agree with you. I have had this same boat for 15 years and love it!
That’s awesome to hear! Thank you for checking out the channel, and when you are ready to buy a bigger boat let me know!
Most loop boats are single engine for less costs
Interesting, is this a statistic you have found? I can understand that thought process. However, every great loop buyer I have sold a boat to this year, have all purchased dual motors.
@@BlayneTheBroker I’ve followed some loopers on TH-cam and read a lot of stuff about it. Don’t get me wrong, 2 engines are much more comforting but outside of crossing the Gulf it’s not to concerning and most of the people I’ve seen do it go with buddy boats anyway. It’s double the cost of fuel if you run both motors and there’s really no need for speed on the loop. Kinda defeats the point.
So most of the people you have seen do the loop have more than one motor available to them. They just got someone else to incur the cost! I won’t argue, that’s a good idea!
Hahaha…good point!
A very nice boat. I will be in the market for just such a thing soon...
awesome! let me know when you are ready. Would love to help you with the purchase process. This boat sold last Monday. Currently working on a Cruisers 3650 Tour, that has very similar use case but different feature sets.
Second video, second time no engine room.
Perhaps a 3rd video will help. I would recommend the 46 Post.
Odd configuration, the salon is absurdly small for a 37ft boat. I don't get it.
Giving up salon space for a lower helm and a cockpit. Have to decide what you value more.
The raised pilot house is what you're seeing.
Pro Tip: Don't talk about sea sickness while trying to sell a boat 🤣. And, always remember, you're not just trying to sell a boat - you're also trying to sell a dream. So, try to use some imagery that helps people to see themselves living the boating lifestyle. Nice boat! Good luck!
So you’re a pro? I’ve been selling for 35 years and sea sickness is a real deal that needs to be addressed. He did make references to sitting in the salon and looking out over the water. If you are a pro let me see your videos or inventory. Maybe I can help you sell them.
@@bjyachts I am retired and I never sold boats. The sea sickness comment was somewhat tongue in cheek to make a point - try not to discuss negative subjects while trying to sell anything, unless your product was specifically designed to address that problem. And, the video will show people what the boat has to offer in terms of amenities and features, unless they are concealed from view. So, no need to point to a drawer and tell us it's a drawer. More useful, for example, is to say something like, "Look at the tons of storage this boat has to offer! You can't ever get enough storage and this boat has more than most!" Or, "The abundance of storage on this boat makes it an ideal live aboard or loop boat!" The point being, it is more effective to think about the kind of people who might need a boat like this and why. And then, tailor your video presentation in ways that accent how the boat is perfect for that target market. My sales background is in medical information systems. I owned a company that provided computer systems to doctors' offices, laboratories, and clinics. Typical system sales started around $20k and went up to over a half million dollars. So, I typically did presentations to both end users and the decision makers - who each have different ideas about what the system is supposed to do for them. Susie at the front desk wants it to make check-ins, check-outs, and appointments easier. Her boss wants the system to make his practice more profitable and efficient. So, the sales presentation needs to be tailored to both.
@@richardowens9061 Good deal. I’m sure Blayne will appreciate your pointers. He’s young and learning so any input is helpful. Perhaps a couple of positives would help as well. Since you watched the video I’m curious if you’re in the market? Did you watch because you just like boats? I’m always trying to figure out what triggers views and comments. Thanks.
@@bjyachts Blayne has a pleasant demeanor and does an adequate job of presenting the boats. I liked the video, and I will be in the market soon. My husband and I are looking to sell our house and live full time on a boat and travel the ICW and the Caribbean for awhile. Now that I'm retired, we don't want to get too old to do something like this - so, we'll be in the market for a boat soon.
Awesome! You should subscribe to his channel as Jarman Yacht Sales list boats every day and he may do a video on the right boat for you. Thanks again.
I'm with you. Must have two engines to do the loop. You must skirt down the west coast of Florida and part of the west coast while you bounce in and out of the inner coastal water ways. The Gulf of Mexico is rather large and you hit one of the tidal currents and your single engine goes kaput and you are now a couple hundred miles out in the gulf when the Coast Guard begins to start looking for you. And if you are going through the swamps of Florida in order to cut through the state and you lose engine and you are stuck possibly grounding yourself in a place filled with large predatory reptiles.
Sounds like you have done some time on the loop!
Another nice presentation, Blayne!
Thank you for the positivity!
Great tour and smart point on doing star-link . I like the wine fridge up by the helm.
Thanks for watching!
