Nice! I took the side panels off and solder cables to the board. 12v works flawless on the PRo. but on the Ultra it crashes after 2min. with fans and 19v it works, what part do need cooling or did I mess up?

This happened to mine as well and Iceriver was HORRIBLE to deal with directly and I ended up sending it to my local repair shop and they fixed it in 5 mins. Better than having to send it all the way back to China and deal with customs and wait 2 months to get it back while rewards per hashrate keep going down. Terrible service on their part. I never had these problems with the Ks0 Pros.

Cleanup...I see you using q-tips and alcohol on it. I put the alcohol in a syringe and apply it to the board and use an old tooth brush to scrub the flux.

I do SMD work too. Your one tweezer tip is that curled on purpose? A man after my own heart using leaded solder!

My KS0 Ultra was a direct purchase from Iceriver, it was Junk out of the box. NEVER worked correctly. It is now on it's second warranty repair trip back to the Factory, first repair did / corrected nothing.. But THEY said it worked there, even tied to pass off a video of it working on the repair bench. Utter Garbage..!!!

What type of flux did you use ?

That's nuts... I've done tons of soldering on Asics before but I've never seen this yet... I'm willing to bet this ran overheated for a very prolonged period of time. But even then youd think the over temp cutoff would of kick in no? But I do know Iceriver kaspa Asics do run very hot, in fact if you cool them too much they under hashi would also add heatsinks onto the new mosffets. Anyways really nice work there brother. I always enjoy watching your videos.

Great job again, that was a pain to fugure out that shortage. thats why I like to solder silicone wire (since its super flexible) to positive and negative and stay away from that barrel connector lol
