This is a tutorial for replacement of F-FO base plate ceramic unit. After my tripod collapsed the lenses bayonete broke and also any other manual lens stopped working. The body has a ceramic plate that senses the F-ring position. Is very fragile and a common fault after a drop. You are driving smoothly through the M6 when the white van in front of you drops a ladder!!! Luckily nobody was on the right lane and I was pretty fast. This was a near accident this time.
