Cranberry Sauce
Cranberry Sauce
================
Ingredients:
Cranberries - 1pack (340 gms)
White Sugar - 2 Cups
Orange Juice - 1.5 cups (without pulp)
Lemon Rind - 1/4 tsp
Lemon Juice - 1 tbsp
Nutmeg - 1/4 tsp
Bourbon/Red Wind - 1tbsp (optional)
Salt - a pinch
Steps:
1. Add Sugar and Orange juice to a pot on medium heat and stir till dissolved.
2. Wash and drain the cranberries, add them to the pot with a pinch of salt.
3. Once they come to a boil add lemon rind, grated nutmeg, and lemon juice.
4. Keep stirring continuously till the cranberries split and become tender.
5. Use the back of the spoon to crush some cranberries in the sauce for texture.
6. Once they are cooked, remove them from the stove and let them completely cool.
7. Cover and store in the fridge until ready to use.

Annies Cooking Jamaica, congratulation on your new channel. I admire your cooking. Some people use a little rum, vinegar, red wine etc. You have 14 Parishes everybody cooks differently. Some people soak the peas overnight, some dont. Some people use a little coconut milk to vook the peas, some people wait until the peas is cook, then they add it. As l say everybody cooks differently. Some people add a little sugar in rice or meat. Keep exploring, keep doing what you do best. We sre here to learn . Keep Up The Good Work. Blessings.

These sound really good an they look easy to make. I'm not a lover of fish so I think I'd turn them into something sweet for breakfast by adding a bit more sugar and some cinnamon. Or use your recipe and add curried chana & aloo🙂
