I remember buying this album when it came out. All McCoy Tyner's best albums from that great creative period changed my musical life. I got a chance to perform with his big band during the mid 90's. Such a blessing!

I remember Bay Area radio used to play this .......Nubia and other songs from this album! Excellent songs and just a fantastic feeling overall for the choices of songs on this Great album....incredible personnel!

I was 13 and bought what I thought was Tubular bells in 23rd precinct in Glasgow. When I got home I found this gem was in the Mike old field sleeve. Anyway, instead of taking it back, I kept it. This record got me interested in all sorts of other interesting music. So thanks to the girl in the record shop, my love of music grew and grew from that day.

Master - re - done of a Vinyl - Milestone in < Music History > brought to tape in * High - End * quality. This album is hard to be found on CD cause the original - master - tape was destroyed by a fire inferno at the Universal Studios in 2008. But now all the same Discogs has released this album on CD

Buddy came to Kansas City in 2001 and signed all my Buddy vinyl including the Live album. Every player on the Live album is too notch especially the bass man!!!

I saw Buddy in Telluride Colorado in 2003 someone threw a joint on the stage and he picked it up and lit it and took a huge pull off it. They stopped the show but it was a while in already so nobody seemed to care but he was just about to play a golden guitar that had a little plaque with Jimi Hendrix on it with wings so that was a downer
