360 Trash Truck Ride - Driver Observations
The attempt was to do what I would do if I was training a new driver. The idea is I'm explaining every action I'm doing as I'm doing it. This should give the impression that an operator is constantly updating a mental checklist of various safety concerns.
Initially, the training process is stressful and exhausting. Overtime, it becomes as habitual as someone playing a videogame for 100hrs. Much of the work becomes muscle-memory.

Ice Jam Flooding - Fremont, NE
มุมมอง 1.2K3 ปีที่แล้ว
This video more relevant for local audiences. An ice jam on the Platte River has caused flooding SW of Fremont, NE on Ridge Road. The road has been closed for several weeks and it's hard knowing how the situation has changed. Compared to the last post, it appears the river has more ice on it and is starting to redirect more water down Ridge Road.
2021 Ridge Road/ Platte River Flooding - Fremont, NE
มุมมอง 2.6K3 ปีที่แล้ว
On Feb. 2 2021 I flew a drone around the SW corner of Fremont, NE along Ridge Road. I tried something a little different where I used a graphic of a drone to illustrate a flight path. This should give some clarity on what you are viewing even if you are not from the area. As a result of an ice jam, the Platte River flooded and covered parts of Big Island Rd and much of Ridge Road causing some e...

Semi Rollover With Trash Trailer - Clean Up Progress
มุมมอง 1494 ปีที่แล้ว
A few years ago I was leaving work at a trash company when I heard a semi rolled over with a trailer loaded with trash. I stopped at the site on my way home to grab some shots with a cellphone and help with cleanup. Took awhile to get around to editing them. As you watch, you notice the strategy is to start big and work our way down to small. Skid loaders loaded the bulk of it into the back of ...

Assuming you have a torch for soldering, you can use it to heat PEX fittings and stretch the plastic pipe to slide out from under crimp ring. If you're like me, you may live a ways away from the store. When you make a mistake, you dont have time to run to the store to buy replacement fittings on bad crimps or needed...

What program are you “drawing” with over the route? Working to reroute to right hand optimize my stops.
Photoshop... Not ideal but good enough for presentation
😊I greet you from Ukraine😊
Mod idea for fs22!?!
That's neat innovation, but seems kinda pointless
So when you feed square bales and you divvy it up by the “flakes” that are already pretty much separated from each other. I’m guessing each one of those “flakes” is one rotation of the masher. If any of that makes sense, am I correct?
That's correct.
it would not be under 1 minute and 50 seconds if he filled the trailer fully.
It would have been nice to figure out a practical application for the Higgs boson.
What people don't know is some people are still missing and won't ever be found, I understand why your doing this but please be kind about this. Family's are still hurting because of This.
I was told a combine auger was designed to run fully extended...and having it run at any other alignment can make the universals wear out faster. I'm sure there are mechanics who can answer with more authority.
We eat this every New Years with black eyed peas and mashed potatoes!!! 😁
My mom makes this but with hot dogs and without mashed potatoes
How does the hay stay in that square shape even when somebody sits on it?
Love your dog... that's the happiest companion to help you do your work. They love this stuff :)
It's amazing how someone came up with that notter setup
🙏🙏🙏🙏
This makes way more sense. Honestly, why they don't make 1,500bu combine hoppers is beyond me. Lengthen the combine to make this capacity 1 with the machine.

Hi I just bought a 1034 just like the one in this video. When I was testing the manual controls all the tables worked. Before starting I noticed the load rack was all the way in the rear I pulled the load rack control to bring it to the front to starting position. When I picked up the first three bales the first table did not engage. I tried to manually engage the second table and the controls do not engage it eithe. Any ideas or throughts as to what could be the cause ? I feel like I’m missing something in the sequence of operation or tripped a locking mechanism to the hydraulic system. Any pointers would be
What if they actually did build it and just didn't tell anyone...
Hi dear sar how r you im work drive New Holland1037 Bale wagon 10 year experience If anyone needs a driver, contact me
Get Elon too Finish it he already has his own boring company
When I was six and a half, I drove a tractor hauling a baler, and wagon. One man grabbed the new bale, and tossed it to another who stacked in on the wagon. That was how early a farm boy started working. I remember it vividly. In fact my memory is so clear that near the end of the first part I could smell the hay. Just a memory but the odor was utterly clear. Hay smells wonderful.
There is a TH-cam video that shows how the knotter works. It is old and blurry, but it does show a baler knotter is slow motion. th-cam.com/video/ZoB_1meRa9A/w-d-xo.html
Thanks for posting, always wondered how the inline baler worked compared to a 14T. Part 2 can be all the uses for the twine string after feeding the hay

Lumber from a special place? Is it meant for a special project?
That was a wonderful video. Thank you for taking the time to make this. My 4 year old son was very interested to know how hay bales were made. He loved this video. Thank you again!
Helluva Father right there. Hope you're still at it Sir!
Still farming and cutting videos for a garbage company. TH-cam and drones were hobbies that got back burner as kids became little more than handfuls
The Elkhorn River (ordinarily a few dozen yards across) looks like the Amazon at 3:45.
Great explanation. Not my industry, but I definitely learned more about good routing.
This is what I would've want to be told when starting 10years ago. I could've saved so much time
Does UPS use proprietary routing software?
@@wbball15 I believe they do... from what I've read it is a "learning" software that adapts to driver habits and most frequent stops. In other words, not cheap.

I never worked on a farm but always had an interest in the machinery at work on the fields 🙂. Awesome video and thank you for showing the how it works 👍.
Great idea! I've been thinking about this for years that it would greatly allow farmers to overcome the limitations of the small built in grain tanks on combines, and a simple way of increasing efficiency without increasing labor costs. It would be great if Combine and Cart manufacturers would work together to create a more unified system. Possibly use hydraulic system? Have the combine act as a generator and just send electrical power to run accessory cart auger? So many options!
Thanks for posting. I need a baler and had no idea how they worked until now.
Wow! You created a very informative video! It was exactly what I was looking for. Well done!!! 👏 Thank you so very much for sharing your time, talent, and knowledge! God bless you! And thank you, Peyton, for asking . 😘
We refer to these as land mines lol!!!!
That was fun to watch I can honestly say I've never seen a setup like that. Definitely come in handy on really long rows
I do miss this so much, used to pull and stack small bales, used a different baler, still had a blast.
Somebody should make toy versions of these so us blind people can understand better by feeling how it all works.
Nice relaxing video, thanks. For the 'knot-part' other channels have better explanation.
Hey do you have any updates on everything
Welp that's the end of thinking if a person could survive a baler
My German grandma lived with us growing up and my mom made this for 9 kids. Only real difference is that she’d cook the dumplings in boiling water to cook them and then mix them with the sauerkraut and pork roast. Yummy! Thanks
Great breakdown of the functionality of the baler. Never had a clue as to the workings. Ingenious!
