18, pretty set on a Zx6r in a 3 months when I turn 19 but if any moto experts see this would yall recommend the Ninja650 or like a R7 idk anything in that middleweight class really, been on dirt bikes for a lil so not totally beginner but not no street/sport bike
Hell yeah bro. If you havent already, definitely go to a dealership or on fb marketplace and try to sit on different bikes, to see what fits you best. From what I know the 650/700 class have good low end torque bc of the twin cylinder engines but not a lot of top speed pull. It could probably get to 120-130mph but it’ll take you a bit to really reach there. Ergonomics wise the Ninja 650 will be more comfortable bc of the way the clip ons are and the R7 has a more aggressive seating position but not as aggressive as a 600cc like the R6 or zx6r. I havent ridden neither of them but I have sat on a Ninja 650 and just from that it felt pretty comfortable. Hope that helps you. Ride safe🙏
@ Goin to a dealership is actually an amazing idea js to see what’s gonna be most comfortable for me, I’ll prob go tdy or tmr now that you gave me that idea😂 I’ve heard the ninja 650 is comfortable and yk it’s a pretty decent bike too but I appreciate that and while I’m at the dealership imma just sit on as much as I can and try to find like the one fr I appreciate the advice it did help & sparked a whole new idea, you ride safe too bro‼️
Glad I could help. And yeah bro, both bikes a great. I actually almost bought a Ninja 650, but wanted the R7 more cuz of the looks. It looks pretty similar to the R6 but just different engine and seating position. I heard the low end torque is really fun (wheelies👀), but with 600cc bikes, you dont really get that low end torque. When you get that bike, dm me on insta, tryna see what you ended up getting. Be safe
We should link up next tuesday and hit up tampa joes!
I would bro but I’ma be back at school on the other side of FL. But on breaks, I’ll lyk. Probably gonna start putting on my insta stories if Ima head out to a meet in the future. So make sure to check that out. Ride safe man
@ fasho, ride safe dawg I’ll check out your IG
Keep it up bro 👌🔥
Sure will dawg

Good stuff bro was elated to see that bike😂😂
lol too cold for that

Lmao, my body felt fine cuz of the leather but my hands… were terrible
@@zx.chris636 Brian636 says wear rubber gloves under your gloves and it works I use to use this trick at a carwash I worked at also you should check Florida's tail of the dragon or gator or gecko (all three work but it has many names the community is trying to a name to stick still) there's plenty of videos on it but they old or more documentary type vids not just a pov ride
@@zx.chris636 no doubt LOL even the old latex trick isnt working
Yeah ive heard of it but i didnt think abt it when i left. Also ive heard of the florida tail of the dragon but its lowkey long drive, especially when im away for school. One day i will, in the meantime, i hit other roads like my other video

Bro trust me, I KNOW. This was filmed last night and it was insanely cold. Couldnt feel my fingers at all😭
Yoooo I love ur vids just subbed can’t wait for more content
Thanks bro, means a lot🙏
Be careful giving tips. There are a ton of experienced riders on youtube some of them either sanctioned racers or rider instructors. You have only been riding for 3 months. You can say stuff like this worked for me yada yada but dont try to tell people they should be doing this or that. Just think about how you phrase things. Just a tip.
I mean you’re right, but im not demanding or telling anyone to do anything. Just tips/recommendations, and even if the words slipped out like that, it would be pretty hard to argue with the things i said in the video wouldnt help someone, at least the slightest bit. They were all just small things that could help, I even mentioned going to the msf course and learning from experienced riders/professionals, and mentioned watching motojitsu. Everything I said were things that one could better themselves with, not one was to change something on the bike, or change what they’re doing while on the bike, etc. And yeah i only got 3 months and I dont see myself nowhere near a experienced rider yet but I feel like theres not enough “beginner” riders out there sharing their experience and what helped them while they’re in the journey themselves. Also why I ask people to drop tips from themselves to see if I would like to apply it to my own riding, like your comment in one of the last videos. Thanks for the tip though🙏
I’m 15 I ride a Surron trying to get a cbr 600rr
Be careful bro. An e-bike and a motorcycle are two completely different things. I’d love to see you on one someday but you’re still pretty young in my opinion. Just be wise with your decision bro, see you on a bike soon. Be safe bro🙏

get some mirrors lad
random, but what cardo mount setup do you have?
I use the cardo spirit HD. Its the cheapest model they have. Works fine for me
yo ur doing great bro
Thanks man!
636 subs😉
the white looks sick, ive been considering a zx6r instead of going with the rs660 (what i originally wanted). its gonna be my 2nd bike so im being hella picky lol. are those aftermarket fairings or did the bike come like that? idk much about 636s
Thanks bro. The rs660 is sickkk, but i wanted a 600 with 4 cylinders, so thats kinda why i went with the 636. But you do get so much with the rs660, beautiful looking bike and nice electronics that the zx6r doesn’t have. And no these aren’t aftermarket fairings, this is just one of the 2021 colorways.
Yeah its your fault. Even if someone else did it. Never leave it somewhere it can fall or where it can easiely be stolen or somewhere a jerk can destroy it. Good job with that accountability, always check ur chain, keep it in spec before each ride. Especialy if ur poppin wheelies alot
Yeah unfortunately it is my fault lol. I left something inside so i went quickly for 15 secs and came back out and was down in my drive way, and the worst part was, I was about to head out to pick up frame sliders. If only it had happen a day later, my frame sliders couldve helped. Also, with the wheelie progression, I have noticed the chain get loose super quick. I went out to practice again and looked down at my chain and saw how loose it was. Had to bite the bullet and just go back home to tighten it up
yooo i go there to race go karts, i didnt know they had bike races thats awesome, when i buy my zx6r i gotta go there lol
The track only lets 600cc and below and with the zx6r being 636cc, not sure if they will allow it. And honestly, I don’t recommend going on a big bike like that. The track is too small for something like a 600, youd be in first gear the whole time. Id recommend no more than a 300/400 and thats even pushing it. This track is best with 125cc like a grom or Z125.
theres still so much to learn and go through. you sound humble, but stay humble. you cant go practice certain scenarios. they just happen and like you said. just requires seat time. My two cents after 10 yrs.
Appreciate it bro. Definitely gotta check myself sometimes and stay humble. But im excited to get as much insight and learn from others. And hope to be riding as long and even longer than you have so far. Ride safe bro
Hit me up z.h.two I live in the area😉
Yoooo. Sick bike. i think ive seen you on a fastlaned video, or am i trippin?? I’ll dm you on insta
Just subbed brodie, keep up the content! Just picked up a gen 3 hayabusa
Thanks man for the sub bro. Enjoy that busa and ride safe dawg🙏
Consistency is key. Doesn't matter if the wheel is an inch or a foot off the ground. Every time you pop that clutch, your front wheel should go up. Build that foundation. As you progress, give it more throttle and more throttle. Some bikes need more throttle than others. What helped me was my throttle wrist position. I had a flat wrist (good posture for cruising). But someone pointed out to me that I should angle my wrist slighty up to allow myself some more "yank." Once you've got the hang of the front wheel going up, look into changing up the sprockets to a -1/+1 or -1/+2. Looking forward to your wheelie progress. Also, I enjoy the fact you know when to take a break and reset. Some people will push themselves too hard.
Thanks for the insight, this is the exact comment I needed. This week so far, Im doing exactly what you said, getting it up everytime, even though its just about an inch or two, some of them go up a good amount and are held for about 2 second instead of a millisecond pop up. I’ve been getting more comfortable giving it more throttle just trying to find the sweet spot. Im gonna try switching the wrist positioning and see if that gives me that more yank. Ride safe bro and again thanks for the help🙏
Yo.. my mans on Riverview Drive let’s goooooooo!!! Im from Brandon/Valrico/Riverview.

bad news for youtube zx.chris uploaded. also go watch gixxer brahs recent video he tells you how to wheelie a 600
LOL. I watched that video but its more for when you already know how to clutch up and how to get to balance point. He said in the video to watch thr first one (how to wheelie a 400) since its all the same thing
If you wanna learn to wheelie you can’t be scared of your bike man
I mean you’re right but its a little easier said than done lmao. But again…absolutely right, this just motivated me tho. Just wait for the next vid, you might get a lil feature lol
Someone once told me something similar. Don't be afraid of your bike but know it demands respect. Your bike will only do what you allow it to do.
Yeah thats what im trying to find on this wheelie stuff. The fine line between respecting it and learning what I can and cant do before things go wrong.
cant wait till you come back to the mel area bro especially once i get another bike
Yessirrr. Soon bro, I’ll be waiting
I also started on a 2019 ZX6R and had 0 riding exp before that.I turned off the low power mode after my 2nd ride xD
Absolute menace. Love to see it bro. Ride safe
@@zx.chris636 Same to you, don't overdo it. Ride safe
Hey, one question. Why don’t you start in fist gear (it has more torque right?) ? I’m just curious, since I don’t have a bike yet… 🥲
It does have more torque but its super twitchy and sensitive. I’ve seen some say learn in first but most people say learn in second. If it was a ninja 400 then yeah 1st would be the move. Im just taking it slow bc i dont want anything to happen to my bike😭. But its getting there, youll see week 2 progress hopefully
Yo first video i seen bro we got the same exact bike and gloves shit feels like im destined to learn wheelies. What exhaust you got?
Lmaoo, thats crazyy. I think the wheelies are calling your name👀. I got an ebay austin racing exhaust. It was like $130. I got pics of it on my insta if you wanna check it out.
Finally a video with accurate wind noise lmao
Lmaoo yeah my mic died😭
Started on a Ninja 650 in November. Going really well so far, doesn't have the top end pull of a ZX6R but still has a lot of low end torque to play around with. I'm 25 but would be more hesitant to start on a 600 being in the 17-20 age range, maturity level and decision making plays a huge factor in staying within your limits and upright. Looking at giving my wife the 650 in the summer and going for a ZX6R or 750 next summer. What will catch newer riders on a bike like this is once you start to feel that "cocky" level of confidence, you'll start pushing the 100+ mphs and run into random situations where only experience and knowing exactly what to do will save you. Ride your own ride and you'll grow just fine on this bike.
Agreed bro. Im not gonna sit here and lie abt me not pushing it from time to time. But it’s definitely not something newer riders should do often at all. Everyone does learn at their own pace and like you said, ride your own ride. No need to get egos and show out. Cant wait for you to upgrade. Ride safe bro
I think u should hold the clutch in longer and then rev it and dump it
Yeah in day three i was comfortable with the motion and consistently getting it off the ground. Now i just gotta give it more throttle to get higher. Thanks for the tip and for watching. Be safe🙏
And he posts again! 🔥🔥❤️❤️
zx6r has to be my dream bike ong, fav year is probably the 2023 zx6r in krt edition though i love the colors also the 23' is the fastest 600 too loll
LOL, the KRT colors are always pretty sick. Hopefully you get that bike one day whether you start on it or not. Be safe and thanks for watching
I know where this is hahahaha 😇😇can’t wait to get back out riding again!!!!
thanks for this vid makes me more confident to buy a zx6r as a starter bike next year
Absolutely man, make sure to go and sit on different bikes and see what fits you best. Ride safe bro
just got my rs660 as my first bike and im already trying to learn how to wheelie lol
LOL, how could we not want to learn right? We’ll be getting it to balance point in no time
nice brother . i like stand ups my self try 2nd and around 60 mph
One day I’ll get there. Gotta get the sit downs. Thanks for the tip
3 months in and already the mirrors are gone...I am disappoint
Personal preference, some learn quicker than others as well
