你好Mr.Groskamp 請問下你是如何設置車子的左右平衡與前後平衡的?
Can I get a higher shore like 45/47 and drive this car on uneven asphalt and rough surface?
What radio controller you use? And what is the reason for stick instead of grip? Great vid greetings from NL.
Always a pleasure your videos! Thanks for sharing your knowledge!
coudn´t just use both front tyres, front and rear?
@@gabrieldanor1404 it is possible but front tires have little less traction so I predict that the car will oversteer more and loose traction in the rear
@jillesgroskamp8752 thats exactely what happen, any setup trick?
@@gabrieldanor1404 just run rear tires in the rear
We in Mexico run with foam tires in 1/10 electric cars
#bringbackdafoam! 😍
Foam far out
Amazing! But I really don t understand why you want to put harder tires!!
Harder tire should wear less
Thanks again for coming out traction was crazy 🤪
Amazing! Can u do it the same for a touring 1/10 On road? because I see you in other video say that the haight is 5.5 mm rear and 5 mm front. but here u say 8 mm! If I use 5.5 rear and 5 on front u still suggest 4 mm downstop on the rear? or Less? thank u!
Yes I can. Electric and Nitro are 2 completely different classes. With nitro you have different size tires front and rear and due the tire wear you need to compromise the ride height. With electric the rubber tire have always a fixed diameter so therefor the ride height is different
@@jillesgroskamp8752 So I will be more than happy to take note of your suggestions! I love the infinity car but Unfortunately, there are no distributors and it's almost impossible to find spare parts except online! What a pity!

I have the Reedy 27313 battery, its much thicker, will that be less then ideal for balance? Finding batteries available in Canada has been difficult.
Jilles, Great tips. Like I said before, you make it nice and clean. Thank you very much for your tips.
@@antoniosousa_61 thanks for your comment!
I always used to use a hair band on my carb of the engine as a rubber band used to get brital from the fuel and brake cleaner.
Hi Jilles, I like the way you assemble your car, means, always very simple and a clean appearence. I copy to my cars most of your ideas. Thank you very much.
Thanks for your outstanding help.
Is this the Stock spring? And is 0.3 a basic setting or race setting?
@@turbskiking4365 usually stock setting is like that. At track you can tight the spring more , depends on many things but try 0.5mm and see if this improve the punch.
@@jillesgroskamp8752 Thanks for reply
Awesome tips!! Pivot Balls: I always use taps to prepare the arms. There are spacial taps that are in stages. I use the first one that cuts the least material. go slow so the piece does not heat and melt. I found that the screws can come loose from hard plastic parts (high carbon content stuff) if I fully tap them. I use the staged taps and go 3/4 th the distance in. and let the screw do its job. Rod ends: When pre tapping with screw, try cutting a line throught the threads. This converts the screw to a tap and ejects plastic better. I also never tap all the way with screws or use the staged taps. Using oil is a great way to reduce heat buildup and binding. I also see a lot of people forgetting their power tools on full lock (full torque) wich can destroy the parts or hurt you if the part gets free from you. always test the torque settings. start low gradually increase until the desired depth. With grease and without grease makes a huge difference in torque settings. Most people do not realize the ammount of attention and effort goes into building the cars and this is only the suspension :) Great video and thank you for sharing your tricks with us.
@@Toughbeard thanks for the extra info! I fully agree on actually using taps but not everyone has them. By using the steel pivot balls this is the easiest solution.
@@jillesgroskamp8752 Just watch your fingers. The ballends get extremely hot :) Thats why I got my self the taps I got tired of burning my fingers. I notice a lot of people leave the screws in the piece after screwing it in with an electric screw driver. This is not a good idea. The Steel piece gets very hot once you put it in the especially hard plastic parts. Because the ball end does not have grooves it will actually cut and compress the material. THere is quite a lot of stress on the material itself. While cooling the plastic will want to shrink a little and hold the screw very tightly and it will most of the time cause you to strip the hex. Always pull the screw out just like you did. and allow the piece to contract and cool. Then put the part back in. it will still be tight but much better. One good way is to cut a groove in a screw whcih creates a channel for material removal... Most people do not realize that taking your time and slowly, carefully building your car makes it faster... Thank you so much for your videos. It is extra work you are putting into explaining things.
Hello Mr Groskamp, hows going, One question; you say that nowdays 12 engines IS faster than old 15 engines. But the new technology developed already in the pocket, why not develope and applyed in 15 engines again? Maybe more suitable 15 for this class, and with more Torque. I think. BEST Regards , and very good work and quality in your brand.
I'd love to see a video of the 2 speed in action on a track. Also a training on where you want to put the setting based on the track.
Can u share the option parts number thans
