There is zero “reporting” when all you are showing is a video. If you are present to record video, use your voice to actually inform people as to what is actually happening.

Pete takes the video. All you have to do is click on the link to read about what is going on. If Pete wasn't out and about all the time, we'd have very little news.

Hi John, had to respond to this. Yes, there were three trucks there and numerous firefighters. It's better to be "safe" than sorry. In this case, there was smoke in the hallway. Not sure if they knew where the smoke was coming from or not, but if they didn't, then they'd have to do a search, it did end up as something minor, but if it was in a apartment and went unnoticed for a considerable time, then it wouldn't be "minor" in nature. And in that case, then you'd have a few firefighters waiting around for others to show up. No one would be able to enter because there would be only a few firefighters. In that case, it would take minutes for that to happen - not seconds. If this was Toronto, frankly, you would have likely got a larger response. So all, in all, what they did was the absolutely right thing to do.

After a search of the building fire crews confirmed the smoke was caused by a dryer in the laundry room.

Call in all of the fire departments from near and far. Spare no expense and make sure this is a double time pay day event for all public servant responders. Also, if there are any EV fire trucks then use them and let’s have our fire crews on bikes and EV scooters since there is a climate emergency in effect where the globe will soon hit boiling heat and floods as predicted for that year 2000 errr I mean 2030!! They might as well take those beds up to the county building. After I saw the video I saw tonight with 310 security driving right by there won't be any 310. There's no way Cobourg residents are going to live with this total lawlessness. It's not tolerable for any human to live like this let alone our kids.

They still aren't gonna go there, unless it's up to their standards, no curfews, no rules...its just a big waste of time and money
