Dead Man First Scene
มุมมอง 52K16 ปีที่แล้ว
Dean Man first scene, on the train. Johnny Depp and Crispin Glover.
This is brilliant sense. Very funny even violent
Dead man and the three bears. My favourite scene in in this classic film. Dead man & Ghost Dog. Two of my favourite films in top 10 of all time.
" How did you get your hair like that, my hair feels like barbwire."
Vodka!
What's a scourge? Lol we say that every time we hear the word.
Poetic masterpiece movie 🎥 Crispin Glover as the train machinist here is telling the tragedy that Mr. William Blake, from lake Eerie in Cleveland, is going to end with along his journey...👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼🙌🏽
If he only had tobacco, nobody would have not cared.
This ol fix your old gut up.
If he would of had tobacco they may have not been killed.
One of Billy Bob Thornton’s best cameos. The other one is in Robert Duvall’s, “The Apostle”. Amazing!
I can't believe that someone would watch this scene and then talk about Johnny.
"A long journey & dark thro' Chaos in the track of Milton's course, To where the Contraries of Beulah War beneath Negations Banner. Then View'd from Milton's Track they see the Ulro, a vast Polypus Of living fibres down into the Sea of Time & Space" -William Blake
“Nobody will observe,”……is why I always laugh to myself anytime I hear someone say “Nobody’s watching,”.
"Good god I'm hit! Lord have mercy! Burns like hellfire! Y'sonofabitch!" Cracks me up every time 😂 this is probably my favorite scene in the movie.
It's 2023 and only Philistines don't know about the movie Dead man.
Twin peaks
"What's the best way to get down there....?", "Be quiet, and go!" Words of rare wisdom......
The first time watching this I thought it was 4 hours as the transformation of accountant to killer took place.
Say you got any tobacco?
@@freedom_rock18 I don’t smoke
I clean up real good 😎
So many great moments in this scene. Both whispering. William Blake: "... What if they kill me?" Nobody: "Nobody will observe". Haha! Not terribly reassuring. The dialogue is brilliant and hilarious, but balanced, the acting production, directing, DOP (B&W was the right choice. Reminds me of Kurosawa Akira's mastery with B&W and of directing) just like the rest of the film. Kurosawa's influence is clear in Ghost Dog too (aside from the obvious references to Japanese culture. Two of my all time favourite films. Up there in top 10. But so hard to choose because the Coen Brothers have so many classics. Other classics like most of Kurosawa's films, American Psycho, Apocalypse Now, full metal Jacket and Blade runner (I know. A fellow film buff says it's overrated. Maybe. But still a classic. It's a great film (with voiceover removed) and Rutger Hauer's contribution this character, his dialogue and his contribution to editing dialogue, like his final monologue in the film. But Deadman is jostling for one of the top slots in my top 10 best all time.
Erie.....
The "I'll always have your back" look that Nobody flashes at William Blake after he kills Billy Bob's character is AWESOME.
Best movie ever made! Pure poetry
“He scalped her, and he tore her head off her body, he took that golden hair, he made a sweater for Baby Bear!”
Neil Young ..asleep in front of the television ! lol
Ha, this scene and the actors are pure gold in a fantastic film, plus Neil Youngs' freeform is next-world good.
Yous'ta could. Beautiful
Its not good to travel with a deadman ! Top 10 movie of all times
"What if they kill me?" "nobody will observe..."
“What’s a Philistine?” 3:45
Those guitar 🎸 riffs give me chills everytime!!!
"I guess nobody gets you"...
First time I watched this was with my brother. We were tripping balls on 'shrooms. 😅
masterpiece
I watched this back in Bellevue, whilst recovering from a leg amputation due to dirty needles. I bin watchin' it ever since! The leg got cremated, in secret. I still hear it on summer evenings at magic hour...
Absolutely loved this movie…a favorite🥰
Johnnys facial expressions in scene around the campfire shows his mastery of acting even at this young age. If you watch his facial expressions change during any of his movies you will be amazed. No other actor of our times can do that. Oh yeah, love this movie.
I totally agree!
Johnny's a fat, drunken, womanising slob, Pilgrim. 'Facial movements' my ass. Bowel movements more like. Now git!
Nobody can play a retarded 19th century Southerner like Billy Bob Thornton.
"there a really dirty person" LMFAO
*Mandela Effect* Iggy originally said "opossum and speeses"
*YEEEEEEEE* shotgun hipfires Iggy Pop
Next campfire just start telling the story of Nero Augustus in Iggy Pop’s voice
Awesome scene.
By God...
What's a Philistine? It's a real dirty person.😆
"Nobody will observe...."
This was THE scene that sold me on Billy Bob
An immeasurable concoction of - Polymaths - all in tow & throe....I don't do Five-Star reviews. But this is exceptional.
Iggy Pop, Billy Bob Thornton and Jared Harris
“It’s terrible” “Horrible” “Terrible is what it is”
