Hi, I purchased some fonts that allow me to download in serveral formats (dst, etc). I have downloaded, but now how to I import i to machine? Do I need embroidery software to create my text, then take thT file to machine to stitch? Am verynew at this and very much appreciate your help!
It is easiest to use embroidery software and upload a bx format of the font to edit it prior to putting it on the machine. When you put a font in your specific machine format it will only do one letter at a time as it reads each one as a separate file. Hope this helps. 😊
@@BreanaFaith Thank you for letting me know. Makes sense, but didn't want to get software as have enough to learn on the machine! :) Thank you again!
Where is the template?

Do you know how to do curved neckline on this machine? Or where I can find a video about it?
Yes, I have tried it. I will make a tips video for curved necklines soon.
What can you use this for?
@@dianecounts7414 the project similar to what was made in the video.
Thank you for the video it was super helpful and informative
Great video! Is this Stitch Artist? If so, what level?
@@renne.b thank you, no it is embrilliance essentials.
Do I embroider inside out?
@@thomasinapasqualone6001 no, it just might look like it is because of how I flipped the material to get the backside out of the way. Hope this helps
Hihi, can i just check. You are using free version of Embrilliance, editing each characters into name in .bx file then save them into .pes file? I am using nv2600 and i got my desire font type from etsy.. was wondering how can I assemble into name that i want to embroider..
You just drag the .bx file into the Embrilliance software?
Mine is 1 character 1 file.. so i need to drag all the characters i want into the software right
Yes, I used the free version of Embrilliance for editing fonts. You will need to upload the font into the software, save the file and then put it on a flash drive to put on the machine. If you have any questions about the process shown in the video, please let me know.
Hi, is your printer inkjet or laser?
I used an inkjet printer.
@@BreanaFaith Can't do it on laserjet. I have a laserjet and they keep melting.
Which multihoop is that
The one I have is the brand Embroidex found on Amazon.
Thanks for the helpful info. Getting ready to do my first applique
Do you have any videos on using two hoops?
You have no clue how helpful this was! I’ve been staring at my machine for a week, so lost and overwhelmed! Tysm!
Thank you so much. I had 3 versions of a font and I wanted to get rid of two of them. This video helped me. I just became a new subscriber!!
@@sandywright-leonard5238 thank you! (:
Excellent Video!!! Your clear way of explaining things is GRRRRREAT!!!! But I have a question. I don't have this Brother machine, what I have is the PE 150. Do this hoop will work on my machine? Also, my Embrilliance doesn't have that Multiposition Selection for the PES Format, how you got it? Thanks for your time and reply, Jorge.
@@jorgerobles628 Thank you for the kind words, it made my day. Hmm…I’m not familiar with that specific machine but I don’t see why this hoop wouldn’t work. Usually when you purchase this type of hoop it will list the various machines it is compatible with though. Also, in order for the multi position function to appear you need to purchase/download Embrillance Essentials. Unfortunately, this feature is not available for Embrillance Express (free version). Hope this helps.
this vid was so easy to follow! I love how you explain the buttons bc i had no idea what the plus and minus did. Ive only recently started using my machine and its so overwhelming! Will definitely be coming back to your channel and will probably ask some questions throughout the journey if thats okay :)
Glad you found the video helpful! Yes, please feel free to ask any questions that come up and I will try my best to address them. Thank you for the kind words.
I really appreciate your videos because I'm new to this. Please continue posting
@@samiek6793 thank you!
Great video !
I tried this today with the free version and I had a hard time with it. 😢 I couldn't split the words
Ohhhhhh excellent video. Thank you.
What stabilizer are you using on top?
I used water soluble stabilizer for the top.
Thanks
Yahoo,omg,superb uploading,godspeed.
Hello, I just came across your video and I was wondering Can you use a repositionable hoop with this machine?
Yes, I have a video on using a repositioning hoop as well. (:
do you have a video of how you did the rehooping method?
yes, here is the video --> th-cam.com/video/sCjkhixmASU/w-d-xo.html
Nice job!
Thank you!
@@BreanaFaith you're welcome!
How do you get the pe550d to recognize the multi hoop option? I just bought this machine and would really like the option to make slightly larger designs. You made this look so easy and it looks wonderful. Thank you. Marcie
The software splits the file you design into two, so the machine reads it in two parts. All of the magic happens inside the software since the machine can still only read at max 4" x 4" designs. So the full design may be 4" x 6" but the software will split it up into two smaller parts in order for the machine to read stitch it out. Hope this makes sense, let me know if you have any questions. (:
@@BreanaFaith thank you. I went and purchased the software. Currently playing around with it. Very easy to use so far. Thanks again.
thank you 100000000000 times. I tried and tried and tried to understand why it didn't work after changing the tension.... after watching your video it worked..... it wasn't the tension but just this little piece of metal I didn't see.
So glad it helped you out!
audio is very low, had to set to 100% and still barely audible.
update ?
I need a favor can you tell to make sued sticky means paste-like vinyl
I would like to help you, but I do not understand what you’re asking for. You can comment in another language if that is easier and I can translate it.
Thank you for asking, but I actually have a couple of questions. Firstly, I'm curious about how you managed to cut the suede since it didn't stick well to the circuit cutting mat. Secondly, do you have any suggestions on how to make the suede more pliable, like a paste or vinyl, so that it could be used as a glue and won't leave any residue?
@@rameenkhojestagan558 Perhaps you need a new Cricut mat or to clean it off. Another thing you can do to help the suede stick is to tape the edges down to the mat with masking or painters tape. The Cricut brand suede is very thin which makes it flexible already. I have never tried to use an adhesive on suede so I do not have any recommendations on that. What are you trying to make though?
I CANNOT THANK YOU ENOUGH! I've been over here messing with Bobbin tension thinking that was the issue, and looked through all sorts of videos, and ran across this one randomally. This fixed my issue and you've saved me so much stress and headaches trying to figure out why I couldn't get this issue fixed. THANK YOU SO MUCH!
Glad I could help, I definitely have gone through that frustration first hand so I feel you.
Thank you for this review, we will not be using Vistaprint.
Thank you! I will be getting the software. What do you do if your design needs more space up or down? I can only stitch something 4 inches high?
The software will allow the file to size down and/or up a bit. Another option is to split the design into two like I did in the video.
Can you give an update after using a bit? I'm pretty sure I screwed up bc this process didn't hold for me for a shirt
Yes, I can do an update after a couple of weeks to tell how it holds up. I would not recommend this process for a shirt though, I would use the interfacing and perhaps a patch on top or decorative stitches. On my website I have a couple different ways to mend items, one of those would probably work better.
New subscriber. I enjoyed your personality and how short & sweet this instruction was. TY
Thank you so much!
hi i have the same machine😊, have you ever tried water soluble on top?
Yes I have, I only use it with certain materials and or projects though.
Trying to realign w/o Embrillance Essentials was 😬, purchased Essentials over the weekend….Game Changer! Reducing time and mistakes. I noticed the basting was getting caught in my design making it harder to pick out without destroying my stitches. So I pin my fabric to the stabilizer and skip the basting stitch by hitting the spool+ sign once, it advances to the actual design. If I need to move the design side to side, I write down the mm and used the same dimensions for the second half to keep alignment. The repositional hoop and software that offers split design expands what you can do with a 4 x 4 machine. So if you’re looking to start small don’t think that you’re limited. Use the software and hardware on the market to expand your creativity. Good luck!
Can we use a 5x7 too for a multi position hoop on the Brother PE or only a 4x6?
I do not believe that a 5"X7" would work because the field can only go out 4" at a time. The field varies by machine so it would depend on which one you have. Most of the multi-position hoops will say what machines they are compatible with before you purchase them.
Thanks. I liked the “EM” Brothread better.
Hello my dear Can you please tell me the large hoop frame you are using ? Thank you.
Of course, the hoop is from Amazon by the brand Embroidex called 3 Hoops for Brother.
@@BreanaFaith Thank you for your reply, sorry my message was not complete... Wanted to know the size of the large hoop please ?
The embroidery area of the large hoop is 4 inch x 6 3/4 inch (100x170mm).@@elikyaraffinee6024
@@BreanaFaith Thank you so much darling.

Thank you !
You make this look super easy to do, I’m going to give it another try! Nice job and thanks for the video.
It takes some practice, you’ll get it! Thank you (:
Excellent and concise! Thank you!
Where did you purchase your sewing desk?
It was actually a wedding gift but the brand is Arrow.
Did you use a different set of anchored on your hoop when you went to the lower portion since you selected a second half pattern.
Yes, I used the first two and then moved the hoop to the back two for the second half.
Outstanding job on explaining this step by step process and showing your embroidery station setup!
Thank you so much for the kind words! (:
You can use the same coordinates and that’s how ur able to line it up so it connects properly
