Man, until I found this video I thought an SD70ACe leading an Amtrak San Joaquin train back in March 2023 was the first time KCS led Amtrak, but apparently not.

We are taking this train later this year so a slower view of the roomette and a full explanation of the room's features at the beginning would have been more helpful. Show the commode and have someone demonstrate how one gets to the upper bunk for example.

I am kind of surprised that the main part of the train goes to Boston and a single locomotive takes the rest of the train to NYC. I would think it would be the other way around. The only other place this happens is Spokane WA where the Empire Builder splits up between Seattle and Portland.

Geez what a bland terminal. I remember when there was magenta coloring by the lights near the ceiling and the atrium with plants, was so nice.

The Buffalo central terminal is not abandoned! It’s being restored! Now has a new roof over the grand hall and some solar panels, another $5 million project was just completed! It’s used for events and yes there is a long way to go. Lots of videos about it here on TH-cam

Seems there were more sights (bridge names etc. ) that could have been identified for viewers. More detail on the itinerary would have been nice. Compartment commentary and video was ok.
