well you cant really fault them, they spend most of their days rehearsing their actual show and might have only had a couple of hours to work on the music and marching for this parade

itsrayney I am not blaming them, I am just saying that is why Drum Corps are not parade type of bands. They only did it for money.

Drum corps are non-profit. Members do not make money out of it, if anything, they all have to sponsor themselves for their competition season which annual cost run beyond millions. So yes, they do parades to help pare the cost of existence. Sorry, but they (drum corps) would put most "marching bands" to shame in musical quality, it's not even close. Their main existence is field competitions/shows, not parades. In fact, "marching bands" today (here and abroad) are what they are thru emulation of drum corps since the 70's. Many instructors of bands are former drum corps alumini.

Ben Morgan Regardless you shouldn't stand in the middle of a parade block with an expensive camera that could very well be accidentally knocked by a marcher and the cameraman or woman was in the way of the marchers and they went around

Ben Morgan This was a parade and as you can see there is a news crew at the beginning and it was on there local news channel. Basically the cameraman were standing in front of the parade causing the performers to maneuver around them.

Mike Disney really was fun! But after being in the sun for like 3 hours and then marching a parade it was really hot. Even though the parade was only like 15 or 20 minutes long it was way harder than one of our other parades that was like an hour long

I was there, its at downtown Disney. Downtown Disney was renamed to Disney springs I think sometime last year.

My band leaves in two days. Our uniforms are all black.
