Hello sir, i got a question! I just bought the unit, and I still did not code the car (i have aux but it’s not activated) when i installed the unit the radio is working fine but when i scan i don’t find any bleutooth, do you know if you press the aux button will trigger bleuttoth to start working? Or is it running when you run the radio?

I had same issue and needed to push the entire plug in as the center of the plug needs to make contact with the connections on the radio.

I have an '85 Euro that I need to pull the engine out of and also an '89 S4 that I need to pull the engine on. I lost cylinder 6 on the Euro. My plan is to pull the engine from the S4 and transplant it into the Euro. I curious as to how many hours I can expect to pull each engine. I am a complete novice at pulling a Porsche engine. Plan is to pull both engines, somehow Frankenstien together a 5.0 with either the S4 heads or the Euro heads (with the proper machine work) and then to transplant the 5.0 into the '85 Euro. Does anyone have any estimates on total project time as well, as in number of hours?

Aren´t you supposed to have silicone sealant at some places around the valve cover?

Your video actually helped me out a lot when I was first diagnosing this issue on my ‘87 528e. What I’ve come to figure out with this vehicle is that those wheel and speed crank sensor is play a big part in the rest of the vehicles operation. If they get too gunked up like mine did, i’ll eventually provide no signal and the car will not be able to start, I even did a test where I cleaned up the old sensor and put it back in and the car started but I still replaced the sensor anyway. I think the same guy who has been wiring this 928 had been wiring my 928... With the loose seat and relay panel out. I bridged the connector by the battery that goes to the neutral safety switch to get car to crank on key again

I have a 2008 BMW X5 3.0si and my mechanic told me my Rear Axle transfer case carrier is completely rusted/rotten and is unsafe, and if the carrier brakes the transmission and transfer case will drop/hang causing other damage to the drivetrain and underbody. Unfortunately I did not take a good look at what he showed me, but would you happen to know what exactly is the rear axle transfer case carrier is? I've tried searching images online, but I only see what the transfer case looks like, but have no idea what the case carrier looks like.

Very good video, I have an '06 with navigation, installed exact adapter, at first did not work, then rechecked the connections, you need to make sure the "aux" portion of the connector is pushed all the way in. Don't rely on the the clip lock closing, must manually push the plugs in the back of the receiver. Did this and it works perfect!

I did this exact mod but suddenly it switched to the aux port instead of the cd-port. Sound quality dropped significantly. Any ideas what caused this?

hey I have a e60 528i and im trying to swap it with a 535i engine is that possible? And would I need different components for the 535i or would the 528i ones fit?

Was doing timing belt on my 1987 BMW 325ic and the CPS wire broke. Gave vin to parts supplier and the replacement CPS has a pigtail at the end and not a plug that goes back into the engine loom. Explained to supplier but had no answer. Thoughts?

I’m looking at an ‘86 928s which has low compression on one cylinder. From everything I've read, it seems unlikely that the engine would have a lower end issue (only 65k miles). Do you guys agree? If yes, can the heads be removed without pulling the engine?
