My friend used to work at DISNEYWORLD...she shot this years ago when the band came by for a laugh. Apparently they were hammered out of their minds!
I've been a fan of Stabbing since 1996. They have kept trying even up to 2022. Great job on this non-studio performance!
Song from my young military days. Yeah buddy
Look up the Exotic Birds version of this track. The original is just as good, if not better.
Gotta admit, for a band of that genre, all aspects of the live performance sounded extremely spot-on in comparison to the studio version, which really surprised me. On a complete sidenote, very cool that they got the same drummer from AC/DC, back in the early '90s, to play drums from them, too! LOL!!!!!!
Still an absolute banger ask that years later
God bless these people they work hard 2 get money and provide us with awesome music. It's not easy doing what they are doing
Drums are so good in this
Put danny carey on this song
Sick
Hey!! Remember when bands could actually play? Like, live and stuff? 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
He is amazing as far as I am concerned, so is johnny marr... 😂 🍀 SLICK
Soo good.
Amazing and friendly, 💯
💘 this group chris is sexy
One of my favorite songs 🎉
Great stuff 🎉
I only see myself Reflected in your eyes So all that I believe I am Essentially are lies And everything I'd hoped to be Or ever thought that I was Died with your belief in me So who the hell am I? I don't know if I am real without you What is left of me without you I don't know what's real without you How can I exist without you? I'm wandering around confused Wondering why I tried The more that you deny my pain The more it intensifies I pray for someone to ache for me The way I ache for you If you ignore that I'm alive I've nothing to cling to I don't know if I am real without you What is left of me without you I don't know what's real without you How can I exist without you? I stare into this mirror So tired of this life If only you would speak to me Or cared if I'm alive Once I swore I would die for you But I never meant like this I never meant like this No, I never meant like this I don't know if I am real without you What is left of me without you I don't know what's real without you How can I exist without you? How can I exist without you? How can I exist without you?
They were lost in the shuffle of all of the bands and big soundtracks of the time. They definitely were so much better than most out there!
Wasnt expeecting this song to sound this good live
This is just as AWESOME as when I was 14. Thank you Stabbing Westward
Kick ass !!! Gets me going !
Is there anything more mid 90s then leather pants?
Crowley was brilliant.
Believe Jesus
Seen these guys with GLUW in Fall 1995. At small bar. (God Lives Underwater)
How did I never know about this band. I'm sure it's due to growing up in Atlanta all my life. All there stuff is good sounding to this day.
Lots of older posts, which is cool, but this is still one of my favorite songs in 2022.
I remember this. It is a core memory for me. I think I even recorded it on VHS. Literally... How can I exist without you, Stabbing Westward?
He doesn't have enough monitors. There could easily be two or three more behind him
Very underrated band. That riff starting at 2:01 is one of the greatest riffs I’ve ever heard. Fantastic song.
yes they was , thought they had the right riffs at the right time but never blew up like some
@@brianpinion5844 just like Trust Company.
They had many great guitar riffs and an awesome overall feel / experience thanks to solid bass lines, awesome synth sounds, and excellent vocals. They definitely deserve more attention than they got.
Even live these guys sound awesome. So underrated cuz they put out some damn good music
Remember watching this at 18yrs old in 95
The drummer is the only one dressed like a regular dude lol
Such an incredible song and an amazing band
Still listening today, hot day this is just perfect thank you.
They never got the proper recognition, they played tf out of save yourself and have been underrated since the 90s. Glad people know about them but we need bigger views yk
They opened for Depeche Mode back in the late 90s
One of the greatest Rock songs ever written! I shared a rehearsal space with Christopher’s band The Dreaming, in Los Angeles a while back such a sweet man. I’m glad to see that they’re giving SW another go. The world needs great songs.
Not with that chorus it isn't.
@@co2metalWhat’s wrong with the chorus?
@@zachiswayposi1 To me, ending each line with "without you" cheapens an otherwise great song.
@@co2metal Kind of an odd complaint, but you do you
@@zachiswayposi1Ok bud
If I could freeze a moment in time...
Still my jam In 2022
My God the percussion is just amazing !!!
2022
Stabbing Westward (Wither, Blister, Burn + Peel), Nine Inch Nails (The Downward Spiral - Pretty Hate Machine - Broken), Candlebox (Candlebox), Smashing Pumpkins (Siamese Dream - Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness), Type O Negative (October Rust - Bloody Kisses), White Zombie (Astrocreep 2000), Deadsy (Commencement - Deadsy), Fear Factory (Obsolete - Demanufacture), Orgy (Candyass), Clan of Xymox (Creatures), Korn (Korn - Life Is Peachy), Ministry (Psalm 69), London After Midnight (Psycho Magnet) ... along with assorted David Bowie, The Cure, and Metallica ... this was my adolescence in the 90s
You just mentioned pretty much my experience in the mid to late 90s as a teenager.
freaking amaazzzzinggggg playlist friend, mine was similar except i was a HUGE marilyn manson fan, id add another few that was on my list: Godhead, Nirvana, Skinny Puppy, VNV nation, The Bauhaus and Joy Division
Chris actually messes up the lyrics at 3:32 as do I every time I do karaoke to this song hahaha Love the new album btw 😁🥰🥰🥰
When this song hit, it hit hard! And than it quietly faded away a vanished.
It's a shame some people will never know this kick ass band
I love this song since it was released 26 years (!!!) ago. After all these years, I realized that this cool song is firmly grounded in Andy's clockwise drumming skills
I bought this cd when it came out for 1 song. Had it for a few years then found out the whole thing kicked major ass!
Still gives me the chills in 2021
R.I.P. 120 minutes
