Be honest I have fun while playing both titles. 4 give out the whole "come to a new city a new place" vibe is indeed amazing for me, but the over all immersion, story and fun can't compare to GTA5... And all these gta4 better than gta5 and gta5 is worst trash really light up the irresistible disgust and hatred against these "so-called gta4 fans" and unfortunately extended to gta4 the game itself...... Really a shame such great titles attracts such brazen and disgusting "fan"base

People praising this game should play Mafia 2. That is based on same city of New York and the driving is actually realistic not like stupid gta4's broken suspension cars. Also Mafia 2 is so optimised. You don't need a supercomputer to run it at 60fps.

Alright so... The driving in GTA 4 was meant to be more realistic, it's not supposed to hold your hand everytime like in SA or V, some parts of the driving are good and some parts are bad. The colors? They wanted to make GTA 4 a more darker game both figuratively (as in story) and literally (also display tab exists). Pretty sure you can put your phone on Sleep Mode and also it's supposed to let Niko have an actual relationship towards the characters in the game also San Andreas had the girlfriend phone calls so... yeah, those were annoying. The optimization argument is more of a problem on Rockstar's shitty optimization for PC games. Also the graphics comparison is an awful comparison, GTA 4 released on 2008 for the PS3 and Xbox 360 and PC and GTA 5 released on... PS3, 360, PS4, ONE, PC, PS5, XBOX SERIES like christ... we don't want more rereleases of this damn game. Don't get me wrong, this game has issues but I wouldn't say it "sucks" per say and I do genuinely like GTA 5, the missions can be creative like the torture mission, GTA 5 and GTA 4 are both good games and they both have their flaws (but you can't excuse gta online, that shit genuinely sucks ass) Also which game got story mode dlc?

I like numbers 6 and 7 cuz I can actually go to sleep peacefully after play it.😆

If gta 4 had a bigger map, Liberty city should've been dark and griddy, and the countryside should've been bright and vibrant with a few dark spots closer to Liberty.

I grew up with Vice City and San Andreas which I still love. When GTA IV came out, it was one of biggest disappointments for me. I also disliked Chinatown Wars. I think I hate how city itself looks in those two games, 4 and CW. Meanwhile GTA5 is fine in my eyes, though by that time I ended up enjoying Sleeping Dogs more.
