This was an amazing video, and extremely helpful. I hope in the future we can see more of these emergency chapters. Please do medical emergencies next, I know it's a big chapter.
ya gotta re write the Q. 'What is the body's largest organ', for ex. Cuz "in" = lungs, liver etc. just 1 word
And some people allowed others to stab a needle through their largest PROTECTIVE organ, and inject poison.
Been a medic for a couple of years and appreciated the review. Just what I needed
can you please do a video like the 100 question video except with new material pertaining to the changes on the NREMT-Paramedic exam?
@@lanazon4045 I like that idea a lot. Just need to find some tests that have questions like the national. Easy to find multiple choice but not the drag & drop
why you use 4mcg instead of 2mcg/min?
Older guidelines recommended 2-10mcg/min. Titrating to the effect that you're looking for. It's not uncommon to now see 0.5mcg/kg/min.
Who cares😂
Bvm 15L o2
Would also apply to Verapamil, but no one uses it anymore for some reason. Like norepi, it has an unfair bad rep
Ty Mike ...great stuff, appreciate your time
Just took my NREMT a month ago and had many pilot questions in the new format. I'm fortunate enough to have passed, but I was a big fan of the new style of questions. Many others in my class were stressed out over the new format, but I felt like I would have liked it more if the whole test was that format!
Congrats on passing! I'm interested to test it out
Just took the new NRP exam on the 1st and passed. Definitely worth practicing the new style questions with clinical judgement! Your videos helped immensely!
Congrats Chris awesome work man
I think my son has this from invega shot his brow ridge is swollen and his cheekbone it looks like he hit himself
Disliked due to attention begging arrow in thumbnail. learn and do better
lol what? The thumbnail is supposed to grab you’re attention, and it isn’t even clickbait
Bro what lol
@@murvygoaz5903 a giant useless red arrow in the thumbnail is the definition of click bait
@@niceyoutubehandlethat small arrow simply pointing towards the title isn’t clickbait. Go touch grass.

Dear god.. make me the smartest man alive in 3 weeks time.
Thanks for the explanation. I know it is hard to say, but do you think this exam is going to be more difficult than previous versions?
I'll tell you soon! I plan to take it in a couple weeks. If anyone in the comments recently took the exam, let us know!
It was easy, just study. I passed the exam yesterday. Know order of operations, Meds, EKG interpretation. Know your A&P. And watch vids like this. You’ll be fine.
Part 2
part 2 is up! sorry for the delay
Super helpful man, appreciate it. Any idea on when part 2 will be uploaded?
Glad to hear! I left town for a week. I'll add part two when I get back, sorry for the delay!

Great video, but benign prostate hypertrophy means that you cannot pee not that you are constantly peeing
Super helpful. Thank you for putting this video together. Also big thx for alll the tips and tips important points to jot down. 👍🏽👍🏽
You gotta suction, supplemental O2, consider taking over airway, maybe RSI
Why would there be an air pocket in the abdominal area, outside the stomach? Is it from the lungs or the gi, or the stomach?
i thought it was nitroglycerin
Where you been at we need you!
Damn Ron, I needed to hear that man. Been having a tough time with motivation to make more videos. Think I may add some lectures on different subjects. Any recommendations?
@@rescueacademy1052 YOUR HELP IS NEEDED !!! Freaked out bc as of 7/01/24 the registry changed the exam to eliminate the psychomotor portion so the whole CAT portion is changed too & your videos are LITERALLY the only videos that don't B.S around for 15mins and you always get straight to point with the delivery of the information. I am so happy to have found your channel (I have MedicTests, Limmer and a Kaplan book but I love the way you deliver the content. PLEASE STAY MOTIVATED BC FUTURE MEDICS NEED YOU !!!!!!!!!!!!! :0)
@@rescueacademy1052 keep doing what your doing - don't change your style ! Direct to the point & cut & dry not all the extra filler word salad that 99% of the other content channels have. Your content is how EMS should be! Chef's kiss of NREMT prep 🤌
Thank you so much for your lessons. I graduated as a paramedic, but i like to review materials and i wish that i saw your videos when i was in school. Great explanation 👏🏼
I hope they get rid of you. From the scene handcuff were working he could go nowhere. They wanted Elijah to remain still NOT and he could not NOT that he was harming anyone or himself.
Going back to paramedic school!! Awesome video to refresh my memory!!🔥🔥🔥🔥
Good luck in medic school!
Great training aid! I just did my first one last night a year and a half into being a medic
You forgot that PT that once you pick them up tells you to get TF out of their home and won't sign the sheet
how about just telling us what adenosine does? thanks for all the technical stuff that doesn't help
Don't ever, Ever, EVER take Toradol. It fucked my liver, and I'm in a lot of trouble, now. My biliruben is through the roof. I'm jaundiced and going through writhing pain. My GI tract is hosed right now. My cholesterol is through the roof and my liver enzymes are high. Try LIVER FAILURE as a side effect. DO NOT TAKE THIS CRAP. I do not drink, smoke, or eat a lot of garbage. Turn and RUN from Toradol.
❤❤❤❤
Just wanted to let you know that I passed the registry the second time around back in September 2023 after I binged your videos over and over. They weren't the only thing I had studied, but I discovered your content at the right time. Thank you for that. Keep up the excellent material!!
Congrats! That test ain't easy
Just came across these videos and they are so helpful and detailed! I hope you are going to do more, though I understand they require a lot of time and work.
Unfortunately I work two jobs and don't have as much free time to film long videos like this. I plan to do more soon! Check out each playlist, it'll help pass that registry exam!
Agreed, a copy of the exam would be great so we can do these on our own and come back to this video and check if we were right
Can you post a copy of the exam so we can do it on our own?
Great idea! Just added it to a google doc. Please check out the description in the video and let me know if it works!
you should keep doing this. all medical questions that can come up
My question is I've heard TXA helps this and for the hospital plasma.
Hmmm I never heard that. Got to look into it
@@rescueacademy1052 Supposedly TXA stops plasminogen converting to plasmin thereby reducing bradykinin build up which is the culprit causing the laryngeal edema. And fresh frozen platelets help with reduction of bradykinin.
@@rescueacademy1052 txa stops plasminogen converting plasmin reducing bradykinin buildup the bradykikin is causing the increased permeability of laryngeal edema. And FFP or fresh frozen platelets not plasma sorry mistyped breaks down bradykinin with kininase 2. It's just something I read about what actually helps that condition rapidly and why the anaphylaxis drugs won't work.
Okay toward the end you weaned to cadiac asthma sorta. They never talked about this I've been in ems 13 yrs never heard of it or thought or saw it of CHF having wheezes. I saw it once about a couple yrs ago and I researched it I just wasn't aware. It's the one time I new something wasn't right, butI didn't know what exactly was happening.
It gets us all the time unfortunately. I review reports monthly at my department and we see it every couple months there.
Can you if not already go over cardiac asthmahow to diagnose ruling out the other conditions leading it to being CHF so we can better diagnose one that then treat it.
Last I remeber you do cpr higher in the chest
Suction and secure an airway (RSI). Monitor. Possible atropine.
Love the video. I failed my first attempt NRP....just came across your videos. Im gonna take notes on these and pray to pass. Based on the reviews i feel confident.
Please do more chapters!!!!! I love this, thank you!!
Good video. We tend to try and stay with BLS airways here as long as we are getting good compliance. Sometimes the instructor will throw a curve ball. And our squads usually take turns running megacode as two man crew I can't imagine having to run through the station alone lol
Can you make a lecture for Cardiology chapter 18? I'm currently in my cardiology block and struggling lol
Ton of content on this channel for cardio! Take a look at my cardiology playlist
I have stuck stone between bladder and kidney and was backing up urine into kidney, worst pain imaginable, they tried morphine twice zero help, put toradol in IV and for me took 100% of pain away in around 5 minutes.
Thanks🙏
Awesome video, very helpful! Do you plan to upload a lecture on chapter 17?
