Welcome back everyone. We got our biggest snowfall of the year. It’s a true test to show how powerful these tractors are! Also a short clip of my yard and surrounding area. Enjoy!

Thx for videos. I put a polyester cutting edge on my tractor’s snowblower and made poly skid shoes and installed them too. I’m now looking into swapping my rear tire chains with rubber ones.
What happend to the channel ?
How many rpm
Why are all of you who living in ”winterland” bying tractor without cab?
Awesome video 👏. I am so glad i found your videos. I missed that top cover plate so never greased my k connect stuff there. I also need to remove the paint from the pressure relief valve and oil level bolt. I'll check all that stuff i missed this weekend. So glad i saw this video before it snowed here. Really helpful video. Thanks so much for your time and effort in making a super helpful video like this.❤
Hi gidday. I just got a BX-1880 with a 54” mid mower. How is your 1880 going? I am considering the industrial tyres and wonder if you are still happy with yours. Many thanks from Auckland New Zealand
Hello, yes I am very happy with the tires. Makes a big difference for traction on dirt. Also them are a-lot more durable!!
So did it work or not. WTF
How good would it be going up a steep pavement driveway
The tractor is excellent on inclines. 4WD and a good amount of ballast.
There's the snow. 👍
Where's the snow? 🤣
Did you install bigger tires on the BX 1880?
Did you put bigger tires on your 1880?
Yes, the ones that come on the BX23. I got the dealer to swap them when I bought the tractor
Thought this was Newfoundland! Excellent.
Hey, that's a NFLD Power truck.
The dilemma that all helpful neighbours with tractors face is “how far do I go with the clearing ?” And “who’s driveway do I clear ?”.
Are you running the bigger BX tires ?
Yes I am using the bigger tires that come on the BX23.
Why would you ask
What size are those industrial tires ? Are they stock 16 front 24 rear ?
Purchased a bx1880 last week. Should be taking delivery some time next week. We recently built a new log home and I have a lot of landscape and other projects to get done on about 2 acres. Looking forward to it.
Great explanation! Thank you for posting! Just sub'd to your channel!
Great set up. Just finalizing the purchase of mine. Would you have a list of all the parts you purchased for the electric chute deflector. I'm in northern Ontario.
The HP doesn't effect your hydraulics either, the HP will effect your PTO HP, oh and ground speed a bit. Everything on the larger BX machines (2380/2680) can be done on the BX1880...as far as lift capacity of your loader/3point hitch...where you'll find a bit of an issue would be when running rear PTO implements where you only have about 13 PTO HP from the BX1880, 17 PTO HP from the BX2380/BX23S, and 19 PTO HP from the BX2680. For snow blower work, lawn mowing, that type of stuff that 1880 will more than suffice. I got the BX2680 because I knew I'd be running some rear PTO implements where the higher HP output would be wanted/needed. I don't have a mid mount mower yet, dealer never ordered it so I'm waiting to see how things go till spring and find out about ordering the 60" mid mount mower probably for next season as my lawn tractor is relatively new so I don't have to worry about not having a mower anyways, but want the mid mount mower to kind of compare the 2 and possibly do a few side jobs. I'm picking up a 5 foot rear grading blade and a 48" rotary cutter (brush hog) this season for sure. I've only had my BX2680 for 7 months, and have already put it through quite a few projects and haven't had any complaints about it. Its been in the shop hibernating since about the middle of November though as I don't have any use for it in the winter. I run a snow blower on my lawn tractor, so my BX just sits in the shop resting.
The Lil tractor that can !
It looks like you are getting right down to the blacktop, I like that myself. Some guys seem to not want to scrape the surface. How are your skid shoes adjusted?
I have a 1880. What size & model is that blower ?
Great Video! I found the set screws loose for the drive chain and the bolt for the k-connect missing after the first few days of use. Make sure you check all bearing set screws and driveline bolts too!
Great video. I added the same poly shoes to my blower which I use on a gravel road/drive. I found that having them extending out beyond the blower resulted in them being deflected. I ended up drilling dedicated holes for the bolts which has helped however I think I’m going to fabricate a similar version out of metal in the summer. Cheers from Ontario.
Great vid. Beauty of a tractor. I’ve got an 1870 with turf tires. I want industrial tires but I am interested in the larger wheels and tires that the BX23 has. Is that what you put on or are they the 18 series industrial tires on the 1880 rims? I’ve been trying to find folks that upsized the rims and tires to see how it worked out with clearances etc. You know you have a tractor that doesn’t break! The darn things are unbelievably tough.
You have the manual chute rotation on the snowblower, but it looks like you have an electric or hydraulic actuator on the angle of deflection. To save money I was going to get the manual chute rotation as well. What is it you have on the deflector. I do not want to get off the tractor every time I want to change the angle of the discharge. Thanks much
Nice job, your machine handled that heavy stuff no problem!
💥 Nice snowblower maintenance tips here! 👍 *Keep on tractoring!*
excellent and compact tractors, i have the bx2380 and mine came with with industrial tires and changed mine to R4 tires like you have, i absolutely love these kubota compact tractors, purchased mine 2 years ago and absolutely no problems with mine. enjoy your new kubota my friend.
I just bought one it is being delivered next week after I go to the dealer and run it awhile so I can get used to it
So how long do they last if you don't mind saying thanks
hey nice vid. new sub. picked up new tractor and rear mount snowblower but did not come with shoes....thinking of running to crappy tire and picking up a s set of these to help with the uneven ground I'm clearing in some spots and a bit of help with the gravel path. I don't mind leaving a layer of snow on driveway so I'll mount these a bit high to give me a bit more clearance . Glenn.
I am thinking of buying a used Kubota TG18 for just snowblowing. Live in Northern Michigan’s UP with 5 months of snow. This video clearly shows the power and weight of the Kobota. I use a Cub Cadet XT2 a lot and I can tell the weight of the Kubota really helps. With the Cub, it works good except I have had spring snow storms dumping wet heavy stuff and the Cub has a tough time. Great video!!!
I have a Cub Cadet XT1 with the 42" snow blower, rear suitcase weights, and tire chains, does pretty well.
I got the same snowblower Bx2816 does it come with the electric chute deflector or is that an extra? I believe it's sold together as a package? You'd figure it's included due to the fact that it costs $5669.00. Just want to know if my dealer is trying to screw me over. Thanks Mate
Yup, I just got my bx2816 with my BX23S. Everything is extra apparently. I never knew that so I got the most basic blower which I didn't find out until after delivery. So I have a hand crank to turn my chute side to side and have to get off the tractor to raise and lower the deflector up and down. Totally not what I wanted at all but the paperwork is signed and tractor delivered before I found out what they sold me. I'm not impressed at all about that. But on the bright side I at least have a huge upgrade from my walk behind snowblower that I've used for 10+ yrs now. Next time I purchase something like this I'll make dang sure to clarify exactly what I want. No more leaving it to the dealership to choose for me.
great video technician. lol. Im trying to figure out the float option on my front mount snowblower with gravel driveway. any suggestions thanks
Hi from PEI. Ya, nice tractor and attachments.
How wide is the snowblower ?
great video. I have recently purchase a 2380. and they delivered it with a BX2830 snowblower, with a deflector. I tested the deflector the other day I guess its called a actuator and does not work, would it be a blown fuse, and ideas. thanks.
Picking up my BX 1880 next week! 👍
I just bought the same model . Is that the Kubota BX small weight box in back?
The Technician, Thank you for this video, you did nice work. I am adding an auxiliary fuse panel to my BX2370 and I have a few questions I hope you can answer. I have seen people add Auxiliary Fuse panels without the main relay, but I feel this was is safer. I want to add the relay and a breaker inline as an added safety measure. Having added the panel to be controlled by the man relay, will you still need to wire in smaller, individual relays on each branch circuit whenever you add accessories such as Lights or say an electric chute rotator, or will this main fuse take the place of the individual relays one would normally wire into branch circuits? Thank you in advance.
Just got a bx1880 today. Love it
Found your channel today, awesome videos and your new video with your light setup is awesome good job!!!
10:00 ah, that tractor has the power to throw the snow where it belongs, over the fence and into the neighbor's yard! GOOD JOB!
you blow snow just like John Deere owners, toward the house and over the areas you already cleared. You should have bought a John Deere tractor
I always laugh when that happens. I guess they just want to be on their tractor more! LOL
great, just what I needed. another snowblower video with no snow. when it snows, you should do a review of the mower deck
Nice clean work... looks great.
