Cherith Trying Boat Candies
Cherith wanted “boat candies” Fisherman’s Friend cough drops for the first time. She was begging for them at the store, and then wanted one when we got home. So we let her have a small piece and see what she thought. Here’s the reaction.
These cough drops are Daddy’s favourite, and Mommy doesn’t mind them. But With Silas they were a hard no, even to today. Though Cherith had this reaction to them, she has come back a couple more times since wanting more. I hope this gives you a bit of a laugh and makes your day!

Hi. Pls give details on your shredder. I need it. Where .price.. link? Thks.
5 years later still very helpful! The storage on the inside of the cabinet doors is brilliant !
@@ivanp3233 Thank you so much! It’s been so helpful to me as well.
I just got my first ever KitchenAid. Thank you for the tips!
@@nickmiller5965 You’re welcome! Enjoy your Kitchenaid.
Love the tips! I'll be getting a command hook for my cord. 😊 I have a question about the cheese shredder. I inherited one along with the mixer. They were my deceased mother-in-law's. I found them and didn't know how to use the attachments, which also came with a food grinder and can opener. It probably has not been used since 1995 or before that. She died in 2000 from several years illness from ALS. The mixer manufacturing date is 1970. It has been in my basement since 2004. It still works. Anyway, what shredder cone do you use for the cheese? I don't have any manuals. Thanks in advance. 😊
The cheese grating is my favorite part of attachments :D
This video was awesome! I just received a free kitchen aid from a commercial kitchen. I love baking and thought I would only use to make bread and other sweets but now I see I can use it for much more!
Oh a quick question I forgot to ask you, dod you rinse your butter after you’ve extracted the buttermilk out of it. I thought I watched a video one time and she mentioned rinsing it. Anyhow, I can look it up. I can’t wait to make my own butter…
@@suebean3873 yes, if I am not using the butter right then and there. If I’m just putting it right to the table to use up for dinner or cook with right then and there then no.
To a fellow Canadian, thank you so much for all the tips. They were all so very helpful, and very well explained. That’s the first thing I want to get now is the shredder. I used to have a Food Processor which shredded my cheese and veggies, but it broke, so this way I’ll have the attachment for my Kitchen Aid as well as the mixer part. Thanks again.
I am 66 also and just retired. Treated myself to a kitchen aid and so looking forward to making things with it.
@@debbiestott3651 it is so much fun! Have a great time with it. There’s so many things you can do.
Great idea's! Thank-you 😊
I like the way you put pieces of hot dogs rather than just one whole piece that way you get a piece of hot dog in every bite 🤓🤓
Thank you!
Thank you for sharing your experiences with us. Are you aware that the ketogenic diet was created in the 1920s specifically for people with epilepsy?
Sooooo funny. ;)
Let him sleep girl
Lol
At 8:10…Me no likey fingers going in shreddy parts! Nice video thanks!
Thank you Sweetheart ❤
You might want to glue a small magnet to the body to corral the pto “button”so you don’t lose it.
Love your video!
Thank you! Also, thank you for commenting.
It looks yummy ☺️
I love the cord and mixer attachment storage ideas
Thanks for the tips. Regardless of price, the pre-shredded cheese is tasteless; powdered cellulose is added to prevent the cheese from clumping. I'm finally going to buy the shredder attachment.
Жена просит докрасить второй глаз )) А вообще, мы в начале ролика немного испугались. Слишком близко )) Спасибо!
thanks for sharing.
This is great. Just what I was looking for. Thank you
No god we trust! No evidence no gods!
I prefer nothing on my fridge, my husband however tries t put stuff on it all he time🙄
Honestly, amazing video where you show how to make butter, shredded chicken and cheese. I was watching another video on butter that was like 10min long and here you show how to make it in like a min.
Great video, just bought my first kitchenaid at 67. Like the command strip idea for storing the cord. Liked the comment about using parchment paper to slide the appliance over the counter. They are pretty heavy.
Thanks for the tips. I just got mine! Looking forward to making pumpkin pie this week.... and cookies for Xmas.
GREAT video!!!
Great Ideas and than you for the video!
great tips sweetie. thanks bunches
The command hook idea was a great suggestion. Storage has been a huge problem for me! Thank you!
I don't use the Kitchenaid as often as you do, but after watching the video (Oct 2023) I will use your ideas and some expressed in the comments. I must get some of the attachments, especially the shredder.
You should call it a Strawberry Orange Fizzer 😊
Making myself butter soon. Rafidah Kuala Lumpur
Thee best butter is with unpasteurized heavy creme. Preferably from a "Jersey" breed. They have a higher and sweeter butter fat content. The pasteurization process kills everything including a lot of the flavor. I had a couple cows back when. Yes I know, not everyone has a cow. A search will turn up lfarms that are allowed, by law, to sell it.
Thank you! Great tips!
Hi Stephanie, Just waiting to take delivery of my Kitchen Aid Tilt head 4.8L Artisan Mixer in Almond Cream. I am a retired 64 year old lady from Devon England. I have been cooking and baking all my life and have wanted a Kitchen Aid Mixer for years and years. I first fell in love with them whilst watching Nigella Lawson using hers on her cooking programmes on the TV. I am so going to be using your tip of the Command hook to neatly coil my electrical flex on the back of my mixer, so thank you for that. Oh the joy I'm going to have. Take care my dear and happy cooking and baking xx Mrs P
I have used that for so long now and it’s amazing how well it works. Congratulations on finally getting your Kitchen Aid too!! I wanted one for quite a long time. My mom always had us cooking with her and she never owned one. We would see it on cooking shows at my grandmas. Well, a few years into my marriage, before the kiddos, my husband bought me mine. Then a few years later we pitched in together to get the bigger one for my mom. It doesn’t tilt but it is heavier duty. Thanks for the comment. 😊
Loved the tutorial❤
You seem like a phenomenal person. But I read that depending what coating on your paddle if it’s chipping/chipped it can get in the ingredients you are mixing in and can cause cancer. Check and see. If it’s made with aluminum. Heard the one made with nylon coating is better and safer to use but research it to make sure it’s safe for you and the family. ❤
Honestly, I wouldn’t say I’m a phenomenal person or even that great of a person. I try my best and can only do just that. I’ve struggled through many a heartache in my life, but have decided to find joy in it. I have been given many talents that I use, but none of them will ever make me amazing. The beaters aren’t aluminum and I have had new beaters for quite some time after the making of this video. Either way, I’m so glad you watched and enjoyed.
It’s rarely that a person thinks of themselves as phenomenal or amazing. We are just built like that in some ways. But I’ve been told in the eyes of the beholder you can be seen this way in their eyes. I’m sure I’m not the only one that sees these qualities in You. But humble is great too. God, bless you in your journey of many talents and teachings. I totally enjoyed it and learned a lot of things I either didn’t know before or was not understanding in other video tutorials I watched regarding the Kitchen Aide stand mixer. And glad your tools are safe. Yay!
Girl! You talk way too much!
You are more then welcome to your opinion. This was a very early video in my TH-cam stuff. Either way you are welcome to stay or go. I have been extremely blessed to have a channel and I’m happy with my content.
So funny 😂
Vino means wine so....
It was a recipe from Pinterest.
I like your idea about putting the hook on the back of the mixer. I 'm always shoving the cord behind its and it takes the fun out of using the mixer. Be sure and unplug your mixer whenever you make changes on it. If you accidentally hit a button on it, the mixer could start-up and you could get hurt.
You're cute! The designers should quit making plunging necklines because no female likes them. We pay for a garment to have access to wear and then always have to struggle taking them apart to make them right in the first place. When will they ever learn to make what females want to wear and not what they want to see?
I do totally agree with you! I find that most females want to be comfortable and look nice. That’s why females often just move into the T-shirt and sweat pants faze, because they just want to be comfortable. But then they often look down on themselves because they feel like they don’t put much effort into their appearance like others do. But in reality they just want to be comfortable and look nice doing it. Why the fashion industry doesn’t think of that is beyond me. I think they would make more money if they thought that way. ❤️
What size command strip hook do you use?
About the size of my thumb. They are the small plastic ones with the metal hook the hooks come out pretty far. www.amazon.ca/Command-17067CLRC-VP-Hooks-Value-Strips/dp/B00EZ0QJUG/ref=mp_s_a_1_3?crid=7MBA8MZT1Q5Y&keywords=command+hook&qid=1689996882&sprefix=command%2Caps%2C114&sr=8-3
Awesome thanks! We just wentto Canada for the 1st time!
It is so beautiful here! Where were you? East coast? West coast? Ontario, Quebec area?
awesome, thanks. I hate mixing meatloaf. I use the dough hook on very low, and mix to a minimum, , , over mixing makes a tough meatloaf. I was thinking about mounting a flat LED light underneath the motor head for better light when mixing batter.
