I need this
I have one left. 😬☺️
The water disapation happens on the outside of the city bell, I pour water on the outside soly to watch, lol
Yeah it definitely happens on other pots too. This one is just so thin the fast crawl is even more satisfying if that makes sense haha.
I am rolling... why is he using a 17 liter barrel of water to pour!!!!???
Beautiful!
that shit sounds like METAL i gotta find me one of those
I have one left on our website 🤓
I really like that gaiwan ❤
Yoooo!! Hi from another tea content creator!! Whats your favorite kind of tea?
Depends on the month haha. This month dong ding from Floating Leaves.
@@TaoTeaware ooo that does sound really good!
i love watching the water steam off my clay gaiwan
Okay so I’m not crazy. 😅
Just bought ypyr 5 cake bundle are yoy going to make any vids on you tasting those just wondering
Love and support from houston
Bardo showcasing themselves as tea and tea ware curators is genius! I got my first teapot from them last month and am so so happy! They have a great aesthetic and are so intentional and sweet! 🫶🏽 Tea Community!
I have the same dilemma, maybe different reasons: right now we have a small and prosperous tea store, 99% of sales are online, but everyday someone comes over, we have a lot of time to talk, try teas, I can show what gongfu is all about, share my passion. I’d love to open a tea house but I’m worried that the magic we have now would disappear and that working in a tea house would be way more exhaustive.
I have a soft porcelain coffee cup, and man I cant waot to get a tea cup made of it.
Oh man, that sounds really satisfying
duude what? idk what i expected, but i certainly didn't expect to find out i was within 5 feet of a youtuber i watch for 2 days and never knew! my buddy loves the Bardo tea house so he and i hung out at their booth quite a bit. i wish we got a chance to meet!
Haha. No worries. I’ll be back next year. 😄
I like that gaiwan ❤
🙏🏻 it’s as thin as expensive haha. It’s up on our website if you’re interested.
clay and paper breathe unlike plastic. its better for the long term storage of tea
cool. couldn't care less. now do a slipper comparison.
It's just a tea .... don't be so excited 😂
Is it weird that I wanna lick the first two? Like the texture has to be good
I love what you do teapot man, please keep it up

maybe you should take your own advice and get off of youtube

Everyone starts developing a personality some point. You don't have to post a jealous comment just because he's ahead of you in the process.
I like going forward, new tech, new humanity. But, looking back is always nice. And I love history. So I can see both sides to this.
Wish I could afford them, they're so beautiful ❤️ but I did buy a chaozhou muffin top Ive wanted for a whole now
okay big shot. i ain't seen no shiboridashi's for you. LOL !!!
say my name ☠️
I'm sure you had a lot of great matcha and gyokuro in Japan on your trip. Early November is when the matcha releases
Yep tea I'm into tea too
I like gas over electric and it makes more of a woodfire type effect
Only facts in here
Also, Jianshui pieces are also sometimes polished to a mirror finish. What they gain in sheen they loose in texture. Matte finish is where it's at.
I love seeing people being extremely zen and traditional with their tea And im over here brewing a giant pot of black tea, dumping a fuckton of sugar in, and stirring it like a witch's cauldron before chilling it till its put on ice All so i can chug my liquid sugar by the gallon
aint nothing wrong with that, i normally use a teaspoon of sugar per glass i make, literally just ordered a pitcher so i can make a big batch
When are they gonna be fore aalw
Why people feel the need to tell someone to do what they do is beyond me. The world would be very boring if everyone did everything the same. I like the look of the clay as it seems old school alchemist. You can't tell a story with a Ziploc baggie.
"my entire personality is tea, now validate me with attention."
It's always with Asian stuff 😂
Zaza
Is that a muller mood mat?
bruh i thaught that was ouid 💀
can you store your grass in there
that's what I'm sayin
That tea caddy sure has personality. Great points on all counts. No need to neglect any of the senses, it all accumulates into an experience.
I love to use glass, like you, to better see the tea leaves and liquor. But for storage I believe it's best to keep the leaves in the dark and cool which a clay pot is better for. Although I certainly use ziplocks and all kinds of containers for mine in different circumstances!
When the tea cake is almost gone I throw in a specific mylar bag the rest, did this with many sheng puerhs and now I have quite some gramms of a blended sheng puerh which contains almost all the sheng puerhs that I've liked. I haven't tried it yet, but the time will come. It's been almost a year since im "building" it.
Maybe we'll see some on the website sometime 😮
@@TylerNGOakley oh man. 😅 Wasn’t planning on it but we shall see. 🙏🏻
I do that same thing whenever I break off some pieces of a cake I have a large glass jar I pour the broken bits and pieces into it's turns into a great blend of all my cakes 👌🔥❤️😋😋😋
I use mason jars and cover it with neoprene sleeves. Cheaper than a caddy. Wide mouth 8oz or 16oz are ideal for me. I collect my tea "shake" in a jar labled "pacham" short for "pachamba" which translates to "To see if we get lucky" with the flavor.
I can always respect a fellow tea lover. Been doing it for health reasons. Any good for organ health?
Your videos are really high quality! So glad to have stumbled on your channel. Subscribed!
Thank you so much 🙏🏻 Glad you stumbled here too haha.
Why use a clay tea caddy. I just use a zip lock bag.
Aging and aesthetics
Ziplocks would dry it out faster. Not sure about the tea caddy's if they're air tight (probably not). There is also the problem with tea degradation from light which ziploc's -being transparent- will allow to come thru. Not sure how fast tea degrades with the influence of light but if you're consuming them within a week or two, you should be fine.
@@MartinezRaigosa short answer is it depends on the tea. Some won’t lose anything from being in a ziplock but other teas need to breathe for better aging and of course aesthetics like @42ZaphodB42 said 🙏🏻
@TaoTeaware After this, I am now thinking of getting a clay caddy. I have a thought that the clay may affect the flavor of the tea. I'm not sure, though.
Get a teapot.
I just picked up a Chinese self filling kettle from my tea guy. It also has a warming plate for your gong dao bai which is nice
