The ZV-E1 does have it, just like 4k 120fps... Whilst that camera is for 'content creators'. That's why I chose the ZV-E1 and not the FX30...

I just uploaded my Dehancer review, really wish I'd watched this before shooting it haha! Agree with everything you say, sometimes you get used to the dehancer image and then when you turn it off and realise just how strong the effect is and that perhaps you need to dial it back haha

Do you think this LUT would work with the A7IV/A7CII as well?

Was shocked to find out the cine d lab results shlw the a7siii has more dynamic range in xavc than the burano in xocn. This has to do with NR though. If you compare the raw output on both the burano has an extra stop. Xavc internal dr is similar for both, but the burano uses less nr to achieve it. This gives you better shadow recovery and fine details that would be lost from nr artifacts.

250D and 200 T are meant to be wildly different. You gotta know what those filmstocks do. D and T are different. Dehancer is not Filmbox where you slab it on and expect it to work. I give you that.

Dude. The difference between 250D and 200T is the white balance. D is for daylight balance at 5000 and T is tungsten. Read the Kodak manual on the film stock on the Kodak website. Otherwise great video.

This is 6 months old now so maybe you've figured this out or tried it, one thing to try if you aren't familiar with that DaVinci Wide Gamut is you most likely need to convert your camera INTO DWG with Color Space Transform. It didn't look like you had a node that comes before dehancer. Make a node before Dehancer and put CST on it. Then choose your input camera color and gamma and OUTPUT Color and Gamma in DWG. Then in the Dehancer node choose DWG and see what happens.

Fx3 looks too digital and so much sharpening, burano looks more organic to my eyes

On a big screen the XVAC compression is obvious. Also, X-OCN is way more flexible in post.

I will stick with my FX3! great camera! compact and cheap

I feel my videos from the FX3 on slog3 are a bit soft when I look at them converted to Rec709 on my computer .

hi buddy.. digging your channel.. your dehancer overview gave me some pro results from your inside track on that plugin.. may I ask you if your knowledgeable on Premiere Pro in terms of achieving the hollywood skin tones your getting with Davinchi.. How to target the luminance of the skintones and to bring them down to Tom Cruise 40-60 ire Im not a novice at colour grading however some guidance would be a massive help.. hopefully you pick this comment up.. At this point, get an FX6 and wait. In about 1 year they will release a new modell that has almost all the same bells and whistles for one third of the price. All the Burrito owners will be pissed, but Sony won’t care. They never do. / FX9-owner.

I actually think you dont use the burano because it has a better image. It has a better image, yes, but that is almost insignificant (unless for special uses where you need higher resolution of color depth). You use the burano because it has all the ergonomics, and extra things (internal nds, etc). What i don't really see is why you would use the burano over the FX6 ? (unless you absolutely need the 2% better quality that nobody will notice). maybe for ibis AND internal nd ? that is rad by the way, the first camera in history to have both.

The result is that Sony is killing it.

The Burano is a nice camera. It is not perfect but all in all a very versitale camera. And the IBIS + ND is a real inovation. But Sony really exaggerated the price.

The shot with the green tint that you didn't like looked the most filmic to me. Looked like a still from a blockbuster.
