Another great lesson really appreciated here in the UK. Started playing slide when arthritis bent my left hand pinkie, its now covered with a rockslide, chrome finish or brass depending on which instrument I'm playing. Really appreciate it, if you could describe how you would analyse a classic song such as 'Dock of the bay' and tranform it into open E tuned, slide form. Thanks for your inspirational playing, and patient enthusiastic education. Best wishes .

At 11:15 when you discuss sliding down and the relative difficulty to sliding up. For me, I know why sliding down is more difficult at first: I cannot see the destination fret clearly, especially in the region of the 12th fret, because the other fingers obscure it. When sliding up, I have a clear view of the destination and can coordinate eyes and hand. No such immediate advantage when reversing that move.

Jules, at 11:40, that B on the 12th fret. When I pluck that B it sounds like a guitar. When you do it, it sounds like a theramin. Can you talk about how you do that, either here or in a dedicated video to this ethereal effect? ❤
