@JL_86 mate awesome question! I try to most days when I remember to think about the day and come up with 3 positive "highlights " for the day. Like today #1 I got a record breaking veiw rate on my video in one day, #2 work was quite and super easy #3 driving to work with the windows down getting fresh air after a couple of tough days mentally it's the small things we got to appreciate ❤️

@MannieElford haha thanks mate!! Hmmm try fishing lighter then? If I'm chasing bream on plastics I'll fish 1/20th 1/16th jighead if you're getting flathead maybe fishing to heavy lure should be up in the water column not down the bottom. Hope that helps 🤙

@MannieElford haha just small hops a go to lure is a zman 2.5 inch grub in watermelon red cast into the rock walls as hard as you can let it sink a bit and couple of small hops I use 4-6lb leader that couple help to

@jaar8320 thanks mate!! The fishing has been hard lately finding sessions that produce so we were pretty happy! It ranges from 12m to about 6m along that wall mate so 3/8 weight was perfect in that scenario, if the water is crystal I try to fish it low light early morning or really late arvo to try and help get a bite I'm usually off the water by the time most or putting in when it's summer haha. I know where the jew sit along that wall ( most the time) but another way is just drift with the tide and once you see bait on the side scan I stop and fish and keep repeating then you start putting patterns together for future sessions. I'll probably be doing something similar next week there so I'll try out up a bit more footage of the jew on side scan to help you. Thanks for tuning in 👍

Thanks mate!! Appreciate you're kind words!! Yeah 100% I fished that area in the morning was heaps of bait there and fish then went there for the arvo different tide and was nothing. That's why it's important to do a bit of running around find a lot of spots and different times of the tide then you can fish all day! Thanks again mate great lures!!

I have had that reel for about 5 -6 years so maybe I'm just complacent with it now haha it definitely helped me out at the start! And tighten it up helps with skip casting for sure. I usually pick it up when skip casting it's a little more forgiving then other reels.

@sandytrackxfishing2810 worth mentioning that you're not getting enough value out of DC with how far and common place Mag spooled casters have come. I'd argue that it's not much harder than learning with a DC, and you get the benefit of it weighing a whole lot less

I'll have to agree to disagree with this one haha yes they have been on the gold coast for years now but we are definitely seeing more barra!! Maybe they are breeding or more just migrating down. But yes with more and more population in this already crowded world unfortunately there's not going to be much left a secret and untouched! Just got to get out there and appreciate the little time with have I say!

This exactly! They've been down south for decades. Caboolture river being a notable mention as well. All global warming has done is wake them up
