South Bound / Clarence River
With the water ways still a bit dirty from recent rains I decided to head south to the mighty Clarence river as its a bigger system we might just find some cleaner water and was not let down! Heading back out in our local in the dirty water we decided to give the tt blades a run!! Heading out in the local for a relaxing day out on the water with my best bud trying some new techniques and lures we stumbled upon a nice little school of mulloway tucked in behind a reef. Part two of an epic session on the spring bass we found a massive school that we sat on for about two hours catching fish after fish. This was a very interesting bite stating with cranks then spoons,vibes and finishing on small plastics we cycled through a big range of lures to keep the bite going!! I also have a 25 hp that has trouble planing with passengers. Also debating a 40 but don’t want to spend the money. Also going to try prop changes first. I wish this test was a test that changed the pitches of the props instead of the blade number. I think that would’ve been a better test for you . I’ll lyk how my test goes. 13 foot whaler with 11.25 pitch on 3 blade prop. I know I also have range to go because I’m WOT at 5 k rpm’s and 22 mph and I should be 5600 at WOP at least. Remember the 4 blade prop will take more power to spin and therefor not allow the motor to rev out and reach its rated HP I’m a timely manner. I thought I needed a 4 blade prop for more torque but after doing a ton of research I think my best bet is to keep 3 blade and lower the pitch and get my rpm’s up sooner in the power band and like I said I have 1000 rpm’s to play with up top.( although I’ll probably only push it to 5700 WOP )

Thanks mate!! Mate if I had to choose only one bream lure for the rest of my life would be these soft prawns hands down!! Not durable at all unfortunately usually 1 fish per lure so buy a few packs haha

just got a ultra light setup for this type of stuff but stuggling to find a braid to mono knot that doesnt slip, do you have a knot for light lines? Great video 🤙
Thanks so much!! I appreciate the positive feedback! Yes mate! I actually use an albrite knot. They are a little more slim then a double uni they are quick,easy and consistent. I only tie about a metre of Leader on so the knot doesn't weaken after each cast. TH-cam the knot it's very easy!

Thanks mate! I could of been more informative on this video was a bit of a throw together just excited to get out! Haha the vibes were 56mm and the prawn vibes were 44mm I personally liked the vibes over the prawn vibe more vibration but they worked great!

Mate honestly I wouldn't say they are worth the price tag! I mean there nice but I sold them off and I'm using the shimano/jackall poison adrena I think they are much nicer! I didn't find the edge rods as sensitive as I wanted.
