One of my favorite things in beta is once you get diamond tools, your done grinding for them. I spend way to much time trying to max out my stuff in the newer versions with netherite and enchantments. I always like having max stuff

I agree, usually, you're mean to people you shouldn't be mean to. But niceness hasn't worked for me. People will just usually exploit you. People cannot be trusted, you're basically on your own. Yea, it's better to be polite and such, but you need thick skin and some selfishness to navigate nowadays or you'll be walked all over on.

This is so " Solo pod-cast " level, but you certainly can't explain everything that is on your mind. You can certainly try releasing a two-parts one-hour videos which you record during the weekends, literally whatever you want to ramble on for two hours, with barely any editing, or second takes. As to your current topic, vast majority of 9-5 jobs are essential, blue-collar jobs. There truly is no shame in working such jobs, as without them, civilization crumbles. Stores don't get restocked, things don't get repaired, not just machinery, road maintenance is a humongous thing. That stop sign? Someone who works a 9-5 put it there. But before that, someone delivered it to the job site to be available when it needs to be placed on the street. Before that? Someone assembled and painted it, could have been human, could have been machine. Before that? Someone smithed it. Most likely casted into a mold, but it would need smelting. That smelting requires fuel and ore. Before the smelting even begins, someone working a 9-5 mined the ore, and someone else, either chopped the tree to turn into charcoal, or mined the coal. And all of that, just for there to be a stop sign, in order to warn people that if they don't stop, there is a high likelyhood of an accident. Look around yourself, almost everything that you see have been created by someone working a 9-5, some time in the past. The shame is that a 9-5 worker isn't being paid more for their services to civilization.

It will never be the same, just like ourselves. We grow up, we have our issues, we are unable to just truly live in the moment, be able to let everything go, be 100% unburdened and cheery like we were as a child. That's how it goes, really. For some this is less problematic and prevalent for some it is more. I don't want to go back to being a child, but I do at the same time. Like, I don't wanna be a dumb, naive kid, but I wanna turn back time. I missed so much things and maybe if I would be able to do so if I did stuff differently, but sadly there's nothing that can be done about it. People say that these years would be the happiest years of my life and I'm genuinely worried by this phrase. If this is the happiest, what will in 10 years from now? I guess we just need to go with the flow and try not to stress too much about it. Anyways, I really like your base, really cool! Subbed.

For me, Christmas used to be such a wonderful time of year, to be cozy, excited, and with family. Now, it's a big branded pile of horsesh1t, the family I once knew I had realized never really cared for me, and everything I once thought to be wonderful about Christmas were things stolen by religion centuries before. Christmas will never be what I thought it was. But, now me and my lovely wife celebrate Yule and the other pagan holidays instead, and it makes me feel that same love and excitement again without all of the obligation, the opulence, the religious brainrot, the need to have to feel a specific way on a specific day, and just be able to enjoy colorful lights, cozy fires and delicious meals with my new family ❤.

To me, it doesn't feel the same because of the gimmicks and constant repetition. Games being released are really good or trash. Moreso trash these days. Growing up, experiencing new things was common, like seeing a neighborhood full of Christmas lights, or watching a (to you) new Christmas movie, but that movie was actually 50 years old and everyone else seen it about twice that amount. The novelty of Christmas wares off. We don't wake up super early with the spirit of Donald Duck's nephews, all excited and magical. Now, there's no Santa. Now, it's just "welp, some chocolate in the stocking, maybe a new game, and some socks" (socks are fire tbh). As an adult, it changes even more. Now, we buy presents. But, finding fun, custom presents that fit the person you're getting it for is incredibly challenging. Everyone just buys what they want and kids are spoiled, so there's nothing left to buy that will make a difference.

The trick is to build more, Minecraft was never a difficult game in the gameplay aspect. all mobs can be beaten easily with the right trick, gear is easy to get and farms have been made. Stop being optimal and start building shit you want to build.

Glacier really makes you wonder what pre-Anvil Minecraft multiplayer maps would have been like if Mojang has stopped tweaking world generation. I suppose that's why there are one or more mods that do just that.

There was a single solitary version of Alpha that was basically GLACIER with all Big Oaks, & you want to build in it so bad, but the shadows from the trees creates an insane amount of hostile mobs that won't give you a moment's peace, & there's no Peaceful or Creative setting. Great for Hardcore Survival, terrible for anything else.

I grew up with post-Adventure Update versions of Minecraft, never heard of or touched the Beta versions as a kid. But I built a lot of stuff in creative mode, coming up with my own lore n' stuff lol. I personally think my enjoyment of Minecraft died down as I grew older and more depressed, but I guess Minecraft content changing and the modern versions being meh might've been a contributor. TBH I think Beta is overreacted, but I haven't played much of it, so maybe I should get back on 1.7.3 lol.

Just found your channel. Great message. I always find the saying 'try to do one thing every day that scares you' to be helpful. However small, it helps build your confidence. And learn to embrace failure. Failing means you tried and you learned which is more important than anything else.

I've been playing a 1.1 world where I live on a mushroom island for nearly 2 years now, I'll have bursts of wanting to play the game and just focus my energy on that world instead of starting a new one every time, and it's really paying off. I picked 1.1 because the first versions I ever played were 1.0 and 1.1, so there's a lot of nostalgia there, and it's a pretty polished and complete version too. I secured the stronghold pretty quickly, but I have held off with actually fighting the dragon so far. I have an enchanting table, but I don't go beyond lvl 1 enchantments because I haven't built an xp farm yet. It's way more fun to play the game at this pace!

Im a Christian but im dealing with depression and hateful thoughts towards myself. Sometimes i argue with God but at the end of the day i always come back to him. I wonder when something good would happen to me in my life if others are happy and living the life then why am i not. By the way i always build a cross statue when i encounter a village ✝️
