Sorry for the delayed response Confident Local. All gates tend to have a little rattle to them unfortunately. However, there is much less wind drag on the bi-fold which makes it an excellent choice. We suggest working with a dealer who could maybe test haul this model for you to determine if it meets your needs. As for the coupler, in order to get the ratings, which is 14K rated on a 7K model, we use a steel zinc-plated coupler. Due to it being a steel component, it can only be bolted, but has been tested without any failure nor have we experienced any issues since we began production. We hope this answers your concerns. @@HH_Trailers okay thanks. So do these axles hood grease all the way across? I have about 2200 miles on my trailer and each wheel took approximately 1 tube of grease to get the hood black nasty stuff out and now it’s nice red. Seems Like a lot of grease..

It will vary depending on the length and suspension. Follow this link to get specifications on the standard models (2000 - 2350 for 10K models) www.hhtrailer.com/product/aluminum-speedloader-tilt-car-hauler/ Generally, when going to a 10K from a 7K add 250 lbs and roughly the same from a 10K to a 14K. Hope this gives you some more insight.

Hail...no one's friend :( With roof repairs, this is a bit more difficult. It does require complete roof replacement. First, you must remove the nose cap and all the roof trim and then cut every roof bow out. Then pull the roof off at one time. Weld in new roof bows. Install new tape then start laying sheets from back to front overlaying each sheet 1” over the sheet before. After you’re all done then you can reinstall the nose cap and the trim. If you have any additional questions, we recommend reaching out to discuss further with our parts department and they will be able to guide you to a dealer who has done this service before as well.

The front v-area of the trailer was not designed to haul a lot of concentrated weight thus not requiring the additional support before the first crossmember. The Topline Series unit does offer more support as it is designed differently then this HH Series Flat-top. The Flat-top was designed for more general use, while the Topline was designed for contractors. As for the smell, this is normal between the caulking and the wood. It does dissipate over time and to help, it is recommended to leave the trailer open to air out.

We appreciate your business and feedback. Currently, we only use galvanized on the roof bows therefore the wall uprights will not have the coating on them as they are standard steel. We do touchup the welds where the roof bows meet the uprights on the flattop as they are exposed. We hope this better explains what you are finding. Thank you!

Thank you for the questions. This does depend on the repair itself. If it can be overlay, this process is pretty simple. If the damage requires additional repair, there is a bit more to the process. We suggest customers needing repair to reach out to an authorized dealer who offers repair to discuss the options available.

@@HH_Trailers Replacing entire right side due bad hail damage. Got the new panels, and 3m tape from local H&H dealer. They don't want to do the job. I've got the skills. Just looking for a decent video showing the process for removing old panels, cutting new ones to size (where necessary), and buttoning it up. Not doing the roof. Though it looks like the moon. It's intact and secure from water. 16' long with high ceiling. Human door and pop up window awning to replace as well. Would also like to know the process for removing the pop up window awning. Got the tape all removed from around the perimeter of the window, but it still seems locked in place Should it just pop out? I did remove the awning brackets from the inside walls.
