⁠oh man. You’re not even close to stock. Stock ST is a 14 seconds car. Of course you will beat a stock LC, but he will sound and look better losing.

I ran 13.6 stock. I agree the LC is a great looking car but I get an awful lot of compliments on mine regularly to say it definitively looks and sounds better.

That's the plan eventually. I have to scrap recordings of almost half my races because they happen on the side I don't have a camera and the other car never makes it into frame.

Thanks. Usually lightly modded coyotes don't give me much trouble anymore. I can't believe how much E85 does for that engine being naturally aspirated. I always thought ethanol would yield minimal gains without boost. For how stock that car is it definitely moves.

@@BlackSheepRacing88 yeah I’ve been able to cruise on past almost all of the 5.0 cars I’ve encountered (aside from a boosted one that drug me 😂). That E85 would have gotten me from the looks of it. Very impressive

Yeah, takes a pro driver to push the accelerator down on the count of three lol. The Durango with a professional driver has ran as fast as high 14s, the ST stock runs mid 13s. Mine with the current setup runs mid 11s. You could put John Force in that Durango and it would be the same outcome.

That's not even close to true. Can you provide proof of any RT Durango running low 11s with minor mods?

Considering it's an AWD 3-row SUV power by a small V6 doing highway pulls, yeah I think it's impressive for what it is. Granted this is when I was down 150HP from where I am now and I should probably retest it. I am aware I'm not pulling on boosted V8s doing highway rolls but there's plenty at the track that think low 11s is pretty fast for something I can haul my family of 6 in and drive every day without worrying about breakdowns.

The G70 is impressive running almost a full second fast than a stock ST and half a second quicker than the stinger GT. On a 93 octane tune and intercooler only I went from a 13.5 to a 12.4 quarter mile. Then going to E50 put me into the 11s without any additional parts. All of these new D.I. turbo cars are crazy compared to what was called fast a decade ago. I just played with a hellcat on the highway this morning like it was nothing special. Genesis definitely makes great looking cars but I needed 3 rows and the GV80 sticker is $20k above the ST.

A G70 is really faster than a Stinger? It’s literally the same car. I was not aware of that. Is the G70 lighter?

@prvideos8229 yeah the g70 is 200-300lbs lighter than the stinger. It's not a huge difference but it gives the g70 a 4.5sec 0-60 whereas the stinger is a 4.7sec 0-60. But don't tell the stinger guys, it really gets their britches in a bunch lol

The Stinger is bigger and heavier than a G70, same engine. Physics. I have the Stinger, valued a back seat and storage.

Transmission tuning is a bit more aggressive on RWD's Stinger than it is for the G70, which is why they're a tad bit faster than the equivalent RWD G70. AWD G70 is definitely faster than the equivalent Stinger AWD. And weight difference is about 150lbs which is negligible.

You intentionally chose to comment on my oldest video against a mustang, when I was closest to stock. Choose any other mustang video I've put up and you'll see the progression in performance.

Not sure what half of this said, but my Brady bunch station wagon takes down most modern muscle cars with little effort. It also has a dual pane sunroof and true duals and my little V6 makes double the power a 455 from the 70s does.

@The-Lincoln-Lawyer Stock for stock it's not, but put just a tune on both and yes it is. When I raced this scat all I had was an intercooler upgrade (no power added just prevents heat soaking) and a 93 octane tune. It was a random person so I don't know if they had any mods. @@BlackSheepRacing88 I'm a big time Ford/Lincoln fan and I'm telling you that you would've smoked badly if that 392 wasn't stock. One of Ford's biggest mistakes is not putting the Coyote in the Ford Explorer ST, that's why it can't outperform the Durango either. Unfortunately Ford didn't step up Dodge outside of the Mustang.

@The-Lincoln-Lawyer It's also $30k cheaper than the hellcat durango. I currently run low 11s, yes with mods, but I'm still over $15k below sticker on a hellcat durango to run a little quicker. A modded scat makes far less gains mod for mod than the 3.0L EB. Watch the other video and you'll see that. If I do Fuel upgrades I'll be high 10s easy, there's already a handful of them already there. But I do agree the coyote would have been a way better starting platform.

Considering I stuck to him the whole pull until he hit the brakes I would say there's a good chance. Especially only having a basic tune and intercooler at the time.

In this video I was on a Livernois 93 canned tune. I have since switched to ZFG 93 and E50 custom tunes.

I agree. The fact that for under $80k you can go 10's and still retain daily drivability is awesome. I can't think of 1 other brand new 3 row SUV that can do the same. I also agree that the new front end is a step in the wrong direction, but I do love the light bar on the hatch. I'm mixed on the interior, the new seats for the ST are nicer for sure but I think I like the existing dashboard better.

I wouldn't have wasted my time if it wasn't. You can breifly see the badge on the door as we first line up. The V is the only trim level that has a badge there. As far as the exhaust, it was louder than I would have expected from an escalade but with my mic being in my dashcam in the front of the cabin and my windows up, plus rolling at 70mph, it didn't catch the audio real well. I've noticed in other videos you can't hear exhaust very well unless their rear bumper is at least at my door. I've ran multiple muscle cars with exhaust and you can't really hear them either unless they're ahead of me. Hoping to get an insta360 and rear window mount this year for higher quality footage.
