I was a Book Of The Month member in the 80’s when my children were babies. At that time a book was just sent to you no choice. I rejoined BOTM in 2022, love that I get to pick my choice! I even bought a year subscription for my daughter for her birthday, she said it was her best present ever! I understand it is not for everyone but I love it. I check out if the offered books are at my 2 libraries, if not, I order it from BOTM.

If ur into fantasy like Harry Potter and story’s that really touch ur heart I recommend a long series of warrior cats it’s a great book and will keep u on ur toes for months of reading there’s over 42 books in the series and they are a bit graphic and contain gore so be aware also be aware of PRICES! But there u go! Also I was just wondering about this series and wanted to read it but I didn’t know if it was a good book so I checked out ur channel! U really helped thx!

I appreciate this review and the no spoilers and then later spoilers. My comment may touch on spoilers but I am trying to not reveal anything so just FYI for anyone reading my comment. I am not done with the book but so far do like it but also having my own confusion of the term monster being used in the book and what GRAVES is under the umbrella term monster and then also this idea of that the humans have been thinking only monsters and not magic doesn't sit well in me because in my mind when I think of the other type of creatures (monsters) in the book I feel like those have what we call either supernatural powers or could also be thought of as having magical powers so I am confused on that choice in the book of choosing that "we've always thought only monsters, not magic". I will say I love the pacing and the building and the retelling of Beauty and the Beast. The other thing that I felt fell short unless it gets more intriguing is what Graves is, like when he said what he was, I was like really, and I wish he (GRAVES) had been something else, and this connects to my first thought above is the use of the term monsters and me feeling like I have never connected what he is to the term monster before so that's weird to me. I also just want to mention again, I am not done with the book so maybe there is more to reveal etc. And for anyone who enjoys audiobooks this audiobook is really lovely.

Book 4 had me unbreathing and then broken in three chapters because of Tory's pigheadedness. Honestly... THEY COULD HAVE BEEN ELYSIAN MATES... I try not to hate her but she really ruined the series for me and now I really don't know how I'm gonna move forward.

I just finished this trilogy yesterday and I definitely want a movie!

It would be one thing if she wrote these 18 year olds differently but the dialogue was just so immature and juvenile that it was insufferable. To me as a 27 year old, but honestly if I was an 18-20 year old college student I would probably think the same thing. I read the whole thing even though I wanted to DNF it and honestly it doesn't get much better once they do go to college IMO.

Oh thank god! I just finished reading this book and was kinda shocked to see that almost everyone loved it! But Why??? Every single trope in this book has been done bettet in some other novel. And Kai and Paedyn felt so forced to me that I actually preferred the prince dude. The romance was there but it did not feel natural at all. Who in the world dances when you're in a competition to death? I mean what??? It was nicer at the end though.

I just finished this book after reading the first book and the novella and I totally agree that the book was way too long. There were certain parts that were really drawn out and I felt like we had to wait forever to get any real answers and when we did get answers it was right at the end of the book and I felt that it was super rushed and anticlimactic. As someone else commented, you didn't really know where anything was going for most of the book, but it wasn't a good anticipation, it was more like trying to figure out whether you should dnf the book or not. The biggest offence to me though, was that the last line of the book wasn't "There she is."

I think 3 stars is fair. Honestly, I read the Bridge Kingdom books before they got popular, and never understood to hype around them. They were 3 stars too.

I’m in the middle of this one, and I love them. I will admit, I loved book 1 the most, but I’m genuinely digging all of them. Do I want more of Henry? Yes. But I find myself invested in Abbi, even when she’s doing something stupid, I’m invested and getting mad at her for it 😂

My only thing was that Mina went from being virginal to taking three giant peen vampire penises, including being able to do Oral like a pro without ANY experience whatsoever. Other than that, yeah the sex started getting repetitive so I found myself tuning it out (I was listening to it on Audible) and only paying attention whenever the plot actions came up.

I'm on the third book - the last book comes out in 3 days!!

Thank you! I love trashy spicy books - I binged ice planet barbarians & everything Laurann Dohner wrote back in 2013-15. But I am soooo annoyed when plot heavy books have unnecessary spice.

I wish I’d looked into this book more before wasting pango cash on the series 😂 I just read the prologue for Flock and had to come find some spoiler reviews. Wish I’d thought to do that earlier 😂 thanks for being so honest, I will not be continuing!

I needed this review because I was furious, but you calmed me down and did make me realize there are part I like. But boyyyyy was it a drag, her flip flopping all the time irritated me so much. This is my first Daniel Jensen book tho so I think I should give another a try that’s not a Viking fantasy

I got a copy that has a bonus chapter from Adams pov! I’m on that chapter now. But I loved this book. I’m only a year away from getting my BS in Biochem so the stem stuff was so awesome for me to see. And after finding out the Kylo ren and ray stuff. I still can’t picture those actors in this probably since I found out after I’ve finished it 😂

I cant wait for this. Im Hoping it's good. Im going to try and listen before I buy it. Ive been hating the books from redtower books lately

Book 4 is plot heavier. BUT 5 is an extended epilogue and I got ZERO out of it, it was bad

I personally loved this series and read it multiple times 😂 However, if you didn’t like this one then I’d say just stop n not waste your time. They still have spicy scenes but it’s not entirely focused on that anymore.

Pretty much how I feel about the Nyaxia books. For me they're ok. 3.5 stars on both. But the cliff hanger on each makes me want to continue, despite them being crap books. I'm torn with continuing or not!

I don't read books! EVER! bought this book on a whim like "oh this seems good" I havnt put it down I read it on my lunch breaks at work when I usually watch youtube. Definitely a 5 star book. Wow.
