Just invest in some danco pliers. Won't rust in saltwater, they can cut braid, comes with a sheath that goes on your belt or waistband, comes with a lanyard connecting the pliers to the sheath so you can't lose them. Best investment i evermade for fishing.

They are decent but the brine mixture they have them in might change the flavor. I have still used the with moderate success, catching on the inlets here in Florida. This doesn’t replace live or fresher bait of course, fish have an incredible sense of smell and they can tell when something is fresh!.

I usually use those cut baits for catfish but tbh there’s more success with chicken or beef liver than those preserved cut baits, past that if u goin salt water fishin u should bring the scraps from someone’s fillet or fresh fish from the market or straight from the water

I bought some dead shad from Walmart, and when I had a line with 2 hook setup so I put a dead shad and some corn, I ended up reeling in about a 30 in catfish, and it bit the corn over the dead shad. I mean if it can't catch a catfish it's usless .

Yeah I got that stuff one time. Unless you get pantyhose with it slings off every single time.

That's probably not a natural bait for whatever fish you're targetings habitat. I'm sure if you fish long enough you might get a reaction strike or a despe5 But not much else. Believe it or not a bunch of salt water species are specific in what they feed on and rather its alive or fresh if it's cut.

That was a Stud Weakfish!! All the ones I’ve ever caught are under limit, I can’t wait to hear how it taste. Man that cutbait looked like it was only good for trap bait..🤣🤣..I’m sure the crabs enjoyed it. Great video Brother!!
