Hello, and welcome to my channel. Here you will find virtual museum tours and videos from the National Aquarium at Baltimore.
The Smithsonian Institution is the darling of the Washington, D.C. area, however there are many other local museums that are just as pleasurable. I highlight such museums using slideshows so that you can fully absorb the experience. They range from larger, prominent establishments to smaller, intimate locations curated by everyday people with a passion for their particular interests.
The National Aquarium at Baltimore is an mesmerizing underwater paradise that must be witnessed. I have various long form and short videos featuring the fascinating marine life, many of which are quite soothing and relaxing.

Van Gogh: The Immersive Experience (Washington, DC)
‘Van Gogh: The Immersive Experience’ on display from August 6, 2021 to January 31, 2024 at the Rhode Island Center in Washington, DC.
Vincent Willem van Gogh (1853-1890) was a Dutch Post-Impressionist painter. Although he is now considered one of the most famous painters to have ever lived, sadly his work was not truly appreciated until close to the time of his death. Inspired by Jean-François Millet and friends with Paul Gauguin, Van Gogh produced over 2,100 works and is known for his use of bold color and textured brushwork. Almost just as popular as his art were his personal struggles, with mental illness: namely, cutting off a portion of his left ear, his confinement in an asylum, and his suicide by gunshot at age 37.

Awesome sharks 🦈🦈🦈🦈🦈🦈
Years ago I bought this CD at the gift shop. Wish I could locate it, super cool ambient album
Beautiful stingray
I was last in there 20 or 25 years ago. It seems to have changed quite a bit, hope my travels will allow another visit there soon. 🦆
I hope you can visit again too; you will enjoy it.
Stunning but I would like to know what we are looking at and where it comes from. So rich and diverse I cannot guess.
On the museum's website there is a page entitled 'AAMM Short Talks' which provides information on some of the pieces. africanartmuseum.org/shorttalkshome/
Amazing
Thank you For Displaying so many items I have personally Loaned to your Museum Posters of Sheriff Duke Kahanamoku, autographed event posters, The Endless Summer Signed Poster by Both Robert August and Mike Hynson, many Lei, several Signed surfboards, Zephyr T shirt signed by Jeff Ho , and Katin surf shorts signed by Miss Sato , the One and Only Custom Seamstress of Katin .
It was wonderful to visit the museum and to view everything that you loaned. Your items have brought joy and education to many people, myself included!
I want to boop one 🥺 So CUUUUUTE!!! 🥺 🥺 🥺
Its really weird how two things that have nothing in conmon and have no reason to can look so similar
So true!
Great video!
So cute
I did this over night thing their one time.
That sounds like it was amazing.
So cool 😎
This song is so nostalgic to me. I grew up going here, and it created such a magical atmosphere.
It really is beautiful.
Same here. Loved the whole aquarium but this part, with this music... man, the nostalgia is strong. I can still smell the salt.
Is there a way to get an audio recording of the song?
I haven't been able to find one anywhere!
@@shelbyfizer do you know who did the ambience for the Amazon River Forest and Australia gallery?
@@enzob9793 I don't, but if I find out, I will let you know!
@@shelbyfizer Cool! Do you have a folder for the old signage graphics? I’m also hoping for a recording of the touchscreens in the Amazon gallery. I enjoy archiving that stuff
The ambience is surprisingly relaxing
Tank is quite small.
It's actually huge.... this is just a narrow view of the tank at the aquarium.
What kind of sharks are they?
Nurse sharks.
I found the song for this one: th-cam.com/video/jLVTdjhjAW4/w-d-xo.html
Thank you!
Thanks for uploading this, the song is Coral Reed Rhapsody by Newton Wayland and it’s incredibly rare. This is probably the best audio of it on the internet
Thank you for the info! This song is the main reason I love visiting the aquarium. If you're interested, there are several other videos in the Baltimore Aquarium playlist that have the Rhapsody in the background. th-cam.com/play/PLhk9X7817TT8vl44D99eifHk_GGdyp4EM.html
@@shelbyfizer good stuff. I hope the full song is available online someday
I've always loved the music in this part of the aquarium ❤️
