    The women commenting here miss three essential things. 1. Frank adored Claire. He spent 6 years searching for her. 2. Claire treated Frank like dirt, let him raise her daughter as his own and as a doting father but still kept him at arms length. 3. Claire truly was selfish. She could have divorced him but didn't. She knew he loved her but kept him around for support and comfort.

      She was a DOCTOR sweetheart, and a surgeon. She did not need his support or comfort. She simply honored her agreement with him. You sound really wounded.

    That mistress is crazy for blaming everything on Claire. It's not Claire's fault. A woman wouldn't make it as a single mother in 1950s UK! No social security for single mothers back then. She had no surviving relatives to take care of her and the baby. If she was unmarried, she would have been forced to give up Brianna for adoption in hospital. Also, Frank always refuse to divorce her

    That stupid mistress is fooled by the man. lol. It's the man who never let the wife go. She wanted a divorce so many times but he never left because "brianna" even tho she said she would split custody and would never stop him from seeing Brianna. but the minute she turns 18 he wants to steal her away from her mother??

    I hate Claire with a burning passion for the treatment she had with Frank, as if it was his fault that she was forced to leave Jaime, as if she had zero responsibility over the life she ruined(even if wasn't intentionally) by literally cheating on him(while he was with no other woman at the time) getting pregnant with other man's child and after returning acting like it's him that needs to understand and shut up about all the crap he went through in her absence because SHE wants it? who the hell she thought she is? cheating, getting pregnant, coming back and be like "Oh, I have no responsibility, it's your duty to understand me, not mine, your feelings doesn't matter a shit!" I'm glad that ever since S4 started, she starting to get side-lined(something becomes more as the books go on and more characters entering) every other woman Jaime has dated, are much better characters than her, (who the hell am I fooling, even Jaime's male friends are better than her) even Brianna is better than her who was beyond kind, human like and good to the man who raped her (while Claire didn't even consider Frank as a human and worth carrying about) even Rhett Butler by seeing this kind of horrible woman as wife, would've say: "maybe I was too hard on Scarlet!"

    You know you’re an amazing writer when you have people passionate about the characters. However, the heartache and conflicts were all part of DG’s plan. Each episode is a piece of a puzzle, all leading to Claire and Jamie finally reuniting. I just can’t wait for book 9 to arrive!

    You people do not get, that Claire shared her experience and that Breonna was possible not Frank to Frank, yet he still remained a father but strayed as Husband as payback. This confrontation was warranted because I am sure Frank shared the history of Claire infidelity as well as her story of being "away". What man would ever believe this and still stick around. Personally, i think one of the biggest mistakes the writers made, was, to humanize the character of Frank, as well as give him more space in the series, i think that this change, did not help Claire's character, HER story, her story with Jamie, the relationship between Jamie and Brianna, and the character of the latter !!! ; I understand the reason for this choice, but i really think it was a HUGE mistake !!! ; I would have preferred an anti-hero kind of character !! .

  • @mokachyna22

    Typical mistress. Frank would have dropped Sandy like a bad habit if Claire had given him half a reason.

  • @mayaserenaher5336
    @mayaserenaher5336 3 ปีที่แล้ว

    Everyone in the comment is caping for Claire because Frank chose to stay because he wanted to be a father but like Sandy’s not wrong either? Claire used Frank and stayed because of her promise to Jamie. She waved it constantly in Frank’s face that Bree wasn’t his daughter. She threatened to use his adultry against him if they divorced. If she truly wanted to leave, she would have divorced him herself. She wanted him to be the bad guy so she would feel deserves in her righteousness. None of these characters were perfect but Claire doesn’t get called out on her shit enough.

    You can't bring that 21st century feminist attitude into the past and expect it to fly with those sorts. They were a ruffian bunch back then and cell phones didn't exist, so it was your word versus theirs and their word was usually law, unless you were of nobility. At least the show got that much right.
