I would like to see dredge with a new talent that makes the primary fire have a fuse that dredge can charge to launch himself like the demo an from tf2 does with the loose cannon but it does small self damage

Paladins is in the best state it’s ever been. Anybody advocating for its older versions does not remember how terrible the balance was back then. The biggest problem the game has is literally its small player base.

I think we're just gonna have to agree to disagree on Makoa 😅 Big Turtle Go BRR!!! 🐢 I agree that Zhin's whirl talent in TT was cool and I also hoped that would replace Yomi since it's so clearly a more engaging play style for Zhin than what Yomi provided. I also think that the new version of Yomi is a big step up from the old version. The difference in play style might not be as drastic as the TT talent, sure. But, I think it changes his play style more than you're granting it. Instead of using whirl willy-nilly to dodge attacks, engage, or retreat, it turns whirl into an ability that, when used optimally, will be used to engage with targets at the right time so you can apply the damage bonus and take them down. I have also used it to improve Zhin's break points during fights! In the video I made covering the talent on the PTS, I noticed the talent very clearly helping me kill Grohk in one fewer shots because of the amplified damage. It also arguably provides the biggest change to his play style of the three talents. Guillotine makes it so that you're more incentivized to use the ultimate in the intended fashion instead of as a movement ult, which is cool, but still mostly just default Zhin. Smolder literally just lets you retreat better than you already were with Billow, but doesn't change his play style at all. Is the talent perfect, despite my click bait thumbnail? No. But, I still think it has great potential, especially if the whirl did bonus damage too and maybe the damage amplifier was slightly higher. I think it also opens the door to new synergistic talents in the future that have some serious potential to be cool. Also, considering a lot of the talent reworks the devs have tested recently, this new version of Yomi is one of their best. Remember back shots Caspian? I think it's important to give credit where credit is due and encourage the devs to make more talents like new Yomi and fewer talents like the failed Eternal rework. Sure, it might be comparing a merely competent talent to a talent that's utterly dogshit instead of striving for greatness, but we have to take what we can get and make incremental improvements until eventually every talent is a banger. Also, Truly Talented looks pretty cool next patch! Maybe one day, they'll add the old item store to the mode too, and all us boomers can play in our 2019 Paladins Nursing Home LTM! 👴

If I ever catch AndrewChicken trying to defend makoa growing ever again I will do something very legal and safe. I uninstalled the game to make disk space for marvel rivals.

Reality confused individual is confused by "identity" of a VERY simple video game character.

You are quite mistaken on the "nothing should sustain after the 8min mark in a siege game" thing. Every healer except Seris and Jenos currently can. Some like Ying, Damba or Furia do it exceptionally well by giving big bursts in split second moments where your team cleanse caut. Others like Moji, Grohk and Lilith give overall bigger amounts of healing in a , let's say 2s spam, but they require the team to actually play around healing and caut. And then something like rei healling a far away enemy through ricochets ends up being a little bit more luck based. Seris and Jenos are the only ones that cannot do their jobs as healers for the half a second a team mate is able to cleanse caut in an all-out fight.

what if you put soul forge in a new talent removing and replacing the card with something else. for the talent,give her some sort of rejuvination buff where it becomes stronger the more targets you heal at the time, and possibly provide a sligh movement speed buff or damage reduction buff for the duration of the healing process and or apply a weak 50 hp shield per targets per 0,5 seconds of channel

I'm very shocked by the decision to base kit SC. It's been her best damage talent for a while, and it's been her best "healing" talent because the other healing talents didn't offer enough to justify the opportunity cost. Like you said, why not make the other talents worth picking? I usually defer to the Seris mains for constructive feedback in the Partner server because Seris (and supports in general) are not my forte. However, I did make a video discussing Seris and why I think she's been a problem which I'll briefly re-iterate here. I think the reason why Seris is so problematic is because she's outdated due to healing creep. When Seris was first released, she was one of the strongest *healers* in the game. Emphasis on healer, not support! Her healing was much more powerful than, for example, Mal'Damba, and that's why it came with the cost of being channeled. It was a vastly different environment and most supports didn't heal for nearly as much as they do now. Now, supports are able to regularly dump 100-200k healing per game while providing all kinds of other value. Mal'Damba's right click ALONE keeps pace with Seris's healing while letting Mal'Damba do damage & stun enemies simultaneously, and that's not even factoring in his gourd on top of that. Why pick Seris when Mal'Damba heals more than her and provides damage and utility at absolutely no downside? The reason why Forsake didn't fix Seris is because, while it condenses her healing into a burst which allows her more time to do other things and offers her a greater ability to heal during the short window of not being affected by cauterize in late game, it didn't actually increase her healing output to be stronger than the likes of Mal'Damba, Ying, Io, etc. Forsake is literally just Cherish, and Cherish is dogshit right now (excuse my French). If Seris was refactored to be a top healer again, with other supports focused more on other aspects of the game like crowd control, buffs, and other niches, then Seris might be a bit more stable. But of course, that requires more broad class-wide changes and is part of a much bigger picture. I certainly don't have all the answers and I welcome criticism to anything I just said. --- Regarding what you said about the devs just "throwing shit at the wall", I only agree in part. Certainly, some debacles like their recent attempts to rework -Persistence- Eternal and Crystalline Battery are highly questionable. However, I disagree with some of the examples you brought up in particular. Making Makoa bigger during his ultimate was a change that was made with two goals in mind: make Makoa more fun, and make his ultimate more impactful. It succeeded at both, after the initial hitch of it getting stuck in terrain was patched. Makoa is actually one of the top tanks in high elo right now according to the data (top pick rate, solid win rate), and I think he's generally in a very healthy spot right now. And of course, being a juggernaut as the tank character is really fun! Remember, we play games to have fun. A change made for the sake of fun is a pretty good change I'd say! And Zhin's new talent. I'm surprised by how many people don't like it, considering that old Yomi was one of the most braindead designs for a talent I've ever seen. "Oh, here's more damage on your primary fire for doing absolutely nothing!" The new Yomi creates new synergies with characters that didn't exist before (i.e. Fernando x Zhin combo), gives Zhin an actual *playstyle* that synergizes with cards that previously didn't have a dedicated talent (whirl Zhin), and is surprisingly balanced! I only have two criticisms for it: whirl should deal bonus damage just like his primary fire, and the bonus damage should be signified with the orange critical markers so it feels more impactful. Otherwise, I think they nailed that talent on the head.

jeez leave seris alone. especially in a stale (many say dying) game like paladins, it's ok for devs to try new things in a patch. you can still nerf her afterwards if she proves to be too strong. what's the problem? I rather have significant buffs like these than only minimal changes. a new patch should be exciting. if those stop being meaningful then what do we have left

I'm always here for a XSTEBE video, but as a Pip main, and Serls being my side-main b*tch... Wtf are they smoking over there? Seris is the most underrated support, because of her damage output in the right circumstances. Yeah, use her as a heal bot, but I've been destroying champs with Soul Collector for YEARS NOW. Even before the stun. Seris' is at her best as double DPS support, where Nimble and Morale Boost (combined with both cards doing the same) will completely be able to flip the coin in your favor of a match!

I'd argue that Koga NEEDS adrenaline junkie as base kit since, let's be honest, why would you run Blood Reaper or Dragon Fangs over AD? Blood Reaper is a DPS Downgrade on anything that isn't a tank and Dragon Fangs has been getting nothing but both direct and indirect nerfs.
