This album is my true love ❤
Repeatedly trashes "Image" in the review. Titles it "Zero misses" 🧐
@@NorthsideGanksta how did I repeatedly trash it 😭? I gave my opinions on the song and it’s still not a bad song
31:28 bro this is actually such nostalgic footage 😭
Enough to make a grown man cry.....
love the reaction but next time dont cut btw music. we like the raw reactions with no edits and cuts
Álbum of the year!
Is this what crack feels like? So addicting
The way i really felt JOY and ALIVE when i listened this album.
Lol the glance behind you
I think it’s a decent album, but not a masterpiece, and even after 3 listens to this album, I still don’t understand the hype.
@@curly_wyn it’s not a masterpiece but it’s amazing
@@latenightvibes775disagree, but variety is the spice o’ life!
If I had to guess where our taste differs, id guess how much you enjoy mica's vocals, and how impactful the detailed and rich production is on you. If those things don't connect with you then yea albums just decent.
@@jonathanard7885I don’t like her voice that much but it’s not bad, a little too upfront in the mix. The production I just find a little sterile.
Thank you for reacting to this❤
Theyre such a talented duo!! Something to note if youre thinking of discovering Mercurial World as well, it also is full of perfect transitions, and while it perfectly loops in on itself, the last track also transitions into the first track of Imaginal Disk! creativity coming out of every pore from these two
Currently at 4.16/5.00 out of 8k reviews on RYM. Crazy
I'm so glad you enjoyed this album!! Mercurial World, the other full album of Magbay's, was my favourite before this one. They're such amazing artists Cry For Me did its job when I listened, I teared up on that middle bridge
I genuinely think going and relistening to Volume Alpha every once in a while is good for the soul
Image will definitely grow on you. Also, you should check out the music videos, their creativity isn't limited to the music either!
@@IMJDI I watched death and romances music video and that was great
Image really snuck up on me I thought it was kinda just okay when the single first released but now I find myself craving that song specifically throughout the day. My favorite song is Cry for Me though
@@natekyngcole Couldn't agree more, even with Cry for Me being my favorite. That is legit one of the best songs ever and I'm not the only one saying that!
Worth noting that while Matt is behind a lot of the bolts on a lot of the production, they both together work on it with ideas coming from both of them, including final arrangements.
I cannot handle the skipping around, especially on music like this which shifts so constantly.
unfortunately I have to do that
The final tracks are so amazing. Just all around a perfect album
on the topic of seamless transitions, the final song from their previous album leads perfectly into the first song of this one
had the exact same reaction to the vampire in the corner - tunnel vision 3 track run, best run i've heard in a while
evoke me is parannouls best imo, its so diverse and extreme, I love it
Would recommend their whole discography honestly. Even from the early days.
I make music as well, would mean a lot if you checked it out - open.spotify.com/track/4KXwjwD8XRqaXDNDFuSGuJ?si=39c7683f7cd2461e
You should definitely react to their first album “mercurial world” !!
Yeah this album 😩😩😩😩😩😩😫😫😫😫😫😫😫😫😫 Also yeah I agree, for me I feel like this album REALLY starts after the first interlude
This is my second favorite album of the 2020s so far. It's immaculate.
What’s #1?
@@lawbinson Jessie Ware - What's Your Pleasure?
@@yahirrivas429 taste! “What's Your Pleasure?” is in my top 10 of the 2020s so far.
Can u do a reaction video to the album Haven by Marianas Trench? Is so it comes out this Friday and can u not mention my name.
If you haven't listened to their previous album, Mercurial World, I would love to see a reaction to that as well. It's the same level of greatness. 🔥🔥
The transition @ 12:38 was my exact reaction too, lmao.
Peak peak peak peak
album of the year right here! great video my man
Thanks for the reaction homie! One of my albums of the year for sure! The blend of psychedelia and pop is so unique
Insane and I would also throw some element of underscore-esque horror in there too. This album is almost like wallsocket 2.0 to me (just without the occasional comic relief but the psychedelia more than makes up for it)
Nostalgia can catch you off guard. Music can catch you off guard. Nostalgic music? Sometimes the tears hit the floor before you know anythings happening.
The man who created the first few minecraft music is a legend.... Until he got fired... C418..... You will be missed.
it's enough to make a grown man cry.. and that's okay
Even if you're not nostalgic for Minecraft this album is just really solid. The tracks are all so clean and ethereal, there's also a clear artistic direction C418 was going for with this album. I feel like he really wanted to make an album that could touch the full spectrum of your emotions. The different motifs are well thought out and the vibe of each song is palpable.
파란노을은 신이야
35:03 favorite part
i love when the video ends
@@latenightvibes775 It looked like you were so into the music that you were lost! And thank you for the honest reaction.
Best album ever
6:02 oh i feel ya pal lmao
Enjoyed ur reaction. I liked L'Amour more because the song stories are intertwined; it refers back to Wildflower which is about Billie's ex's ex-girlfriend. Here Billie was the love of his life and then he left her immediately. So she ends up, like in real life events, caught on camera at a club together, with his ex-gf and they were still friends..Also, notice the melody theme of Skinny repeats in The Greatest's climax and at the end of Blue. Masterful collection of varied songs that relate and flow as a story...
I dont blame him for crying ive cryed to far cry 5's soundtrack
please do volume beta dude 🙏
Unpopular opinion but taswell is the greatest one
i love your vibe, this is a 10/10 album for me. you should listen to some elliott smith if you haven't.
The sound of superfast jellyfish has definitely aged, as it was already parodying a outdated sound, but the message about consumerism and the affects it has on the environment has aged like fine wine.
I'm a bit too late to this but these songs saved me during high school, I was very introverted and if it wasn't for my parents I won't go to school everyday, I listen to these songs while playing minecraft, they're the only sounds I consider a safe space for me, mentally and physically. To see you get emotional is a reflection of how much these songs impacted people too. That makes me feel like I belong somewhere.
